Despite the city of Austin’s alluring amenities and buzzing downtown area, not every renter is looking to live in the heart of a city. The suburbs of north Austin have become increasingly popular with neighborhoods like Hunter’s Chase providing plenty of convenience, just in a slightly less busy setting.
Large lots and well-manicured lawns make Hunter’s chase a picturesque suburb. There’s a variety of single-family homes and apartments to fit any budget or style. The neighborhood itself has access to three well-maintained parks, as well as one of the city’s most popular attractions, the Austin Aquarium. Shopaholics delight at Lakeline Mall, with a variety of stores and restaurants providing endless entertainment just minutes away from your new home.
Downtown Austin is still close. The city is just 15 miles south via I-35, putting all the attractions of the city just a short drive away.

Property Ratings at Parkside Apartments
Management is aggressive, apartments say renovated its just paint. BUGS. The pool is concreted and mailboxes are constantly broken into new Management in 2023. Not worth the money period. Dont listen to any good old reviews.
You have to ask multiple times to get any sort of maintenance done and it takes months to get anyone to come in and “fix” things. Non-existent leasing personnel except for maybe a random 10 minutes a day. If I can find someone to help me get out of my lease I will be doing so because this place is a waste of money.
Best decision I could have made to move on to this property! Office staff is professional courteous and very friendly. Every issue I have had has been resolved quickly by their super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable support staff. The maintenance Duo are second to none! Well done gentlemen. The community is well-kept, clean quiet and has a small family feel. It is pet friendly and I can't wait to one day purchase my own puppy!

They just raised my rent $200.00 to match their new rates. I have been here for years. I couldn't figure out where the extra value of this apartment was coming from. There is more crime. Cops are here all the time. The new management seems rude and insensitive. Nothing in my apartment has been fixed. They say there is a security guard who is non-existent. There is a HUGE water tank in the middle of the apartments surrounded by a chain link fence. They placed signs for free Wi-Fi but had to remove them because it didn't exist. The walkway near the fence in the back is dangerous. The dog park is a wood chipped covered gated area with a bar-b-que pit. Most the outlets inside my home don't work and I have to do the filter myself. Ceiling fans are falling. Light fixture covers are missing. I have stayed because it was a safe place and more convenient than leaving. Now I can't afford to stay. AND they haven't given a reason to. The upgrades have nothing to do with current tenants and I haven't been given one upgrade to my apartment since I have been there. If you are going to increase over and over again, give a reason it's worth it...other than terracotta color paint job on the outside.
I moved here a couple of months ago and I love the look of everything. My apartment is beautiful and the rent is pretty reasonable for me. I have new everything and I am completely happy. I give it 4 stars because I really wanted a first floor but I could only have a second floor. :(
After reading other reviews it would seem I was treated the same. They have a creepy manager named Michael that always hits on you and asks if you want to go jogging with him. The even weirder part is he lives in the apartments. I come home to take care of my pets and my apartment smells like pot. I have complained many times about the neighbors and nothing has been done. I thought there was no smoking aloud ???. After one month of living there I couldn't stand it and they agreed to move me to another building. I no longer have to smell pot anymore but now I have to deal with bugs and fleas. It seems the area is really bad with fleas. I walk my pets around and in the field next door and now there are so many when I come home they are jumping on me and biting my legs. On top of all that good luck finding a parking spot if you get off at 6. There are no places to park ever and people always backing into your car and banging there car doors on yours because its a tight fit. For what you pay its not worth it and they do spend peoples security deposits on renovations. When you try to leave they make up anything to keep your money.
I have been living here for about 5 years, and have had nothing but problems since I got. I receive SSI and don't receive enough money to really live anywhere else. They're not updated apartments, built in 1984. Just cause you put a fresh coat of paint doesn't make them new.
We have had a lot of pest issues that take forever to be addressed. As well as a lot of construction on the outside of the building but nothing really to please the renters! I don't feel that im getting what im paying for.
This apartment complex is the worst one I've ever lived in. Not only do they over charge for everything but the quality is very poor. Maintenance is not kept up very well and the maintenance man is very rude. The only reason I stayed so long was because of Patti and when she got fired I left shortly after. They charge way too much for small, poor quality apartments.
