Adjacent to Trenton and bordering the Delaware River, Ewing is a large township that contains the College of New Jersey and the Trenton-Mercer Airport. The township began as part of Hopewell Township and was settled by colonists in 1699. The oldest building in Ewing is a farmhouse built in 1717 by William Green, one of the area's first settlers.
To get a sense of how the area must have looked to those early colonists, visit the West Branch of Shabakunk Creek, located near the airport. This natural area covers more than five miles and played a vital role in the Revolutionary War's Second Battle of Trenton. Another great location to visit after moving to a Ewing apartment is the Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park Trail, which extends along the river. The trail is 77 miles long and is popular for hiking, bicycling, jogging, and horseback riding.

Property Ratings at Parkside Court
I lived here for three years and was ecstatic when I was able to move away. The management company is horribly cheap about everything. For example, the squirrels got into the attic and ate the fiber optic cable for my internet service three times and they refused to hire a professional pest service to solve the problem. They finally did something when the Verizon tech threatened to bill the complex, not us, for the repairs (it was happening in the attic; we were on the first floor and had no access). They also didn't de-ice the stairs to the laundry facility in the basement and I fell down them and landed on concrete. The laundry company that they contract with, Calico, was awful about keeping the machines working and there were never enough for the number of tenants living there. There was also a water leak above our shower in the second floor apartment. I have the pictures to show the ceiling of the shower caving in for six months that they never fixed while we lived there. The kitchen layout was completely non-functional and the way the apartment was designed no air circulates. It can be 70 degrees outside and 90 inside with the windows all open. We had one of the apartments with a basement and the mildew, mold, centipedes, and cockroaches were awful. Finally, I found termites in my basement, told the manager, and he did nothing. I had to move all of my things out of the basement for fear of them getting into my papers and destroying them. The grounds look fine and it seems OK from the outside, but living in that apartment was utter misery. Especially when you factor in the significant annual rent increases it quickly becomes almost as expensive as a far nicer apartment.
In November 2017, I went in to get an application. Returned it with a $90 money order for a credit check. I got an email stating that I didn't put down what apartment I was looking for. Then I got another email stating there were no 1 BR available. The prices on another website were about $200 less than was on the application. Since they are not usually there when I am available, I put in the mail slot a stamped return address envelope for my $90 and the paperwork I filled out and wrote that the rates on that site are different than what they quoted. It is now mid February and I have heard nothing and received nothing. Disappointed. Do not recommend.

I have been a tenant for years. They have resurrected and made it safe, comfortable and wonderful to live here. The apts are spacious, the keep me very warm and clean in the winters as well as manicured and beautiful in the summer.
