Property Ratings at Parkside Village
The new owners started charging residents for water, sewer, garbage, and miscellaneous utility fees based on a ratio of the entire apartment community’s bills. These new charges amount to us paying an extra $150-$200 a month. This is in addition to our original pacific power bill which is typically $80-120. What a sleazy way to raise the rent in addition to already actually raising the rent the legally allowable amount! Adding to my dismay, the new management company has done little to address repeated concerns brought to them about multiple neighbors who are blatantly feeding and breeding feral outdoor cat colonies on their porches. This has caused a horrible smell from poop and pee accumulation, along with swarms of flies accompanying the feral cats. We used to enjoy spending time on our porch. Our neighbors have faced no consequences for violating the outdoor pet portion of their rental agreements. We have lived here for 7 years. The quality of living at this property has decreased proportionately to the rent increasing. Live anywhere else if you can afford it.
This apartment complex is conveniently located across from a great park. You are in walking distance to grocery stores and restaurant's. The apartments come with washer, dryer, refrigerator, and dishwasher. There is covered parking and an on site manager. For dog lovers there is a dog park located next to the complex.
