Property Ratings at Parkview
I live in a nice spacious one bedroom with a very nice view of Nine Mile Creek. It’s quiet, peaceful, and the nature of the place is pretty tranquil. A really great place to live.
The property manager is attentive to residents needs and keeps us in the loop about what's going on with the building. The property and grounds are also well kept and there is also a lovely park which borders the property.
Back in April I wrote a review while I was living here. I have since decided to renew my lease. The problem was solved and since then their haven't been many issues. Upper lot has some pretty bad potholes on one side but only in a few parking spots close to the door. Land lady is friendly and has been such a blessing during the coin shortage of 2020. There are still some things I would change but I defiantly wanted to change my review from a 1 star to a 3 star. It's by no means high end living but the property staff is nice and the people at least in the 1935 building are kind. As a single woman on a budget I would defiantly recommend. :)

Thanks so much for your patience. We appreciate you staying within our community and also appreciate you as a resident here at Parkview!! We are working hard to create a community that is comfortable, safe, and provides an affordable living space! We are not perfect by any means but strive to progress in positive ways!!
I so take for granted the work that's being done everyday here. I'm reminded when I go see my parents at another Apartment Complex here in Bloomington. Their building and grounds are filthy. Stains and garbage on the hallway carpet, garbage in the elevators, bags of junk outside the entrances. I come home and windows are being washed, and Betty has the vacuum cleaner going down the hallways. New holiday decorations just came in and we have beautiful flowers in the summer, thanks to Nancy. Don a member of our maintenance team greets me by name each and every time I see him and will fix anything for us, and Elesia always is there to help. She even staches away quarters and dog treats :) It really is my home.

Thank you so much for your kind review! We appreciate you as part of our community as well. Our residents are really appreciative of our caretaking team and our maintenance team. Parkview is continually improving in positive ways. As always we strive to make you feel at home!
I have lived here for over 16 years. I did move away once for a year and came right back. You won’t find a better apartment around here for as good of a price. Management is amazing and so is maintenance. I have gotten to know quite a few of my neighbors here that are also long time residents. Very happy to be here. They also recently updated the garages so that’s a huge plus!!

Thank you for being one of our long-term residents! Again our caretakers and maintenance team are wonderful and love serving our residents with their needs! We also have updated all of our garages to provide our residents with safe, secure, and spacious areas to store their vehicles. Thank you for being so patient during the process of renovation!
The neighbors in building 1935 are LOUD!!! Doesn’t matter if it’s 630am or 1130pm. Their kids are loud, noisy, and scream down the hallway knocking on all doors. I’ve had myself and neighbors property and packages stolen or broken. My neighbor even had one of her wreaths broken, another her sign was stolen from her door. Another had heir sign broken. They don’t answer during business hours half the time and when trying to solve any issue they suggest moving rather than dealing with the issue. Management lady is friendly but can’t seem to find a solution to bigger issues. Maintenance man is nice and helpful. Honestly it’s not worth the price for everything I’ve had to put up with. Not happy. Unless some big changes happen I’m moving when my lease is up...which is sad...because I’ve made some great friends in this building. But I need to feel safe, and have my property and space respected.

Thank you for your feedback and I also appreciate your "change of heart". We do work hard to accommodate any way that we can within reason. There are times when transferring to another unit is an option and when other approaches do not work we will offer a transfer within our community. This is rare and only after exhausting all other options. Community living does include living in close quarters with other residents that may present louder volumes than a person would like. I know that can be a struggle however we try to be patient and considerate to all our residents. Thanks for your review.
I live in a spacious one bedroom apartment here are Parkview. Large living room, nice kitchen with large dining room. It has beautiful wood floor in entry way nice tile in kitchen and dining room and bath. Large bedroom with nice closet space. The building has a wonderful indoor pool, and nice work out area. The staff is easy to work with and many residents have lived here for 15 years or more. Robin
I am a resident here. I have a spacious 1 bedroom apartment. I overlook scenic moir park and nine Mile Creek where I walk my dog. The staff are very friendly and acomadating and the residents are friendly. I am a senior and I feel very safe here. I am happy I picked Parkview for my home.
Affordable apartments. Allow small pets. Good neighbors. 88 degree pool, old sauna, broken down fitness equipment in fitness room. 3 laundry machines, $1.25 wash and dry. Hallways smell funny but not too bad. Underground parking leaks stuff that ruins car paint. Not too much surface parking available. Comcast is the only internet option. Nine Mile Creek in backyard -- amazing walking trails. On bus line, close to 35W. Renting office accepts packages, you don't have to take off work to sign for something - even had my package at my apartment door once. Overall, nothing to brag about but really decent for the price. Super laid back place to live.
