Property Ratings at Parkway Crossing
I found a 2B that the website said would be available for my move in date. I set up the time and date for a tour. When I arrived, the folks in the leasing office were surprised to see me. They didn't know which apartment I had requested to view. They just started listing all apartment options they had coming available I'm the next couple months, none of which were a 2B available on the move in date that I indicated. I made the trip to the complex for nothing. It was frustrating.

Thank you for your review. I’m sorry to hear you had a frustrating experience, but we really appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention. A recent transition of our online tour scheduler to another provider caused the disconnect at your arrival. Please contact us directly at parkwaycrossing@nhe-inc.com so we can schedule a future tour. We would like the opportunity to make things right. Again, thank you for taking the time to review our business!
Since reading the negative reviews on this website, I would like to point out that our community has been taken over by a new management company. I have watched them try to make the best improvements possible within the amount of time they have had. I have lived here for several years and the staff is very kind and helpful. For the price in this area this is a very nice community, it is peaceful and quiet. Come take a look for yourself. Thanks to all the staff and management, I hope you will come and make your own decision.

My family and I have lived in these apartments for 4 years. We love the location, not to far from town. The staff and maintenance have always been helpful with anything needed. Pet friendly, clean, and quiet.

Lived here for almost a year. Never a problem. Maintenance always prompt. Office staff greeted us with a smile. Ready to help. Clean and quiet. Can relax on patio watching the birds and squirrels. Shopping available everywhere within walking distance. Allowing pets is a plus.

If I could give this apartment complex less than 1 star, I would. I'm not a super high maintenance person and thought that this apartment complex wasn't the best but for the price I was paying and since we would only be there for a short time, I would deal. I wish I would have tucked my tail and ran. The exterior doesn't look so bad and when we viewed the complex, it seemed like a perfect fit but this place cares only about your money and will do everything in their power to get it. Every negative review below is absolutely 110,000% right. The place is falling apart with loose screws, mold everywhere, and they think they can simply cover everything up with a slab of paint. For the safety of your family, I would not recommend any one with children or pets live here. Not to mention, the office is completely dysfunctional and lazy. They do nothing to help you resolve problems and will answer everything with "Technically we are unable to..." The two women that work the front office do a terrible job of communicating and lie through their teeth just to scam you out of your money. I have lived in so many apartments because my partner and I travel a lot and I have never had any problems from living in shack studios to basements and trailers, but I have to say, being scammed out of my entire summer's pay on bad living conditions and TERRIBLE customer service tops it all.
This apartment complex is not the best. My roommate and I were blind sided from the beginning and a lot of information was left out. We were shown a model apartment and it looks nothing like our own. The first apartment they attempted to put us in had very old appliances from the 90s. The cabinet doors in the kitchen didn't even fit a couple of cubs. The counter tops had chipped paint, screws popping out, the refrigerator was even leaking. Everything was kept in poor condition. Nothing has been remodeled. The floors aren't leveled and the apartments are poorly insulated. Electricity runs extra high in the winter. Tenants pay more than they should, we are all over charged.
The apartments are exactly what my boyfriend and I need right now. Not too fancy and just enough space for us and our dog. Not the best apartments but for the the price it will do.
Great location to live in, in Asheville. 10 minutes from everywhere you want to go. The value of the apartments match the quality. I wish the neighbors were friendlier but that is out of their control. It is pet friendly which is a lot harder to find these days than most would think. The staff is great. And I love our balcony!
Great apartments for what my girlfriend and I are looking for. The price is good for the quality and definitely for the location. The apartments are about 5-10 minutes from almost anywhere in Asheville.
