Property Ratings at Parkway Grand
I loved this apartment complex when I moved in with my wife in February 2022. Since I lived in there was no problems from the beginning everything was smooth. Maintenance was on time and took care of everything and anything that needed to get done. But until September 2023 things started to change in a bad way. Me and my wife decided to move out in August 2024 we followed the requirements correctly but we did miss the 60 day mark by 12 days so we agreed to pay any additional fees to make the move out smooth and stress free. In July 2024 my wife had to go to office three times to correct there mistakes on our move out date. Then on July 19th they posted the rent it total to $463 so I paid it then on August 6th I received a called asking me are we moving out today I told them “no we are moving out on the 23rd of August “. So my intuition told me to go up there the next morning. On the next morning I received a call saying they made changes without telling me nor my wife on what is going on. I was told I have to pay $1,099.16 and the Septembers rent plus the late fee for September. So me and my wife spoke to the regional director and she came up with a new plan for us to just pay the $1,099.16 and to forget about the September rent and Late fee. The payment was plan in full on the very exact day, but the next day I was charged $175 late fee for there mistake not tell us the full information and then posting the full amount of the rent late. The lack of communication and disorganization is unprofessional

Each time I think this apartment complex cannot fail me they always seem to surprise me . My review is real not scripted . Do not move here save yourself the headache an heartache the staff like compassion an empathy they are nice when they want you to move in but it's down hill from there .

Great location,convenient to I-20 and 285 with lots of shopping within walking distance. Extremely quiet,not alot of kids in the area. Well kept property gated and the gates actually work. Leasing staff is great with getting things done in a timely manner. Great amenities.
When you come to this side of Decatur you normally don't find an apartment with the feel of Metro-Atlanta, but Parkway Grand is like an oasis in the jungle. Parkway Grand gets high marks in communication, maintenance, and office management. The office is good about getting information to residents, combatting disorderly conduct amongst tenants, fixing maintaince requests extremely fast, and running a tip top office. Of course there are low marks, but safety seems to be the only one with the entrance gates never being closed. Other than that Parkway Grand is a great place to live, no huge complaints here.
