Immediately outside of Washington, DC’s southeast boundary between Suitland Parkway and Pennsylvania Avenue, Suitland’s location is ideal for anyone who works around the Capital area. Commuters on a budget will appreciate the fact that apartments and houses rent for much less in Suitland than in DC. Compared to other DC-area communities, Suitland offers some of the most convenient access routes to both Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and the Washington Navy Yard, making it a very appealing option for military service members.

Property Ratings at Parkway Terrace
Quiet clean as it gets (the clean up ppl are a little lazy) but communicate and the rental office will assist you. Close close to metro (don’t need a bus) Rental office staff seem a little overwhelmed. Maybe open every other Saturday will help with maintenance request etc I wish they let u buy the paint to do the accent wall or at least pick your own color or jus don’t do one period ! However every time I called they came to fix it . They are cool and sweet! Don’t be late on your rent and you won’t have any issues .. I love my apt . Just just the right size for ME !!!

This property is the worst place to live. Management does not do a good job at all. Residents complain and nothing is being done about it. No trash pick up. Buildings are not clean. Residents are not notified of work or issues on the property. Residents hanging out and people who don't live on property. This is not a safe or nice place to live. Needs a new manager she really don't care about the residents or her job and it shows. One star rating is way to much credit. Disgrace

I have lived at Parkway Terrace for two years. It's right across from the metro. My neighbors are very nice and it's very quiet. It's a nice place for me and my son to live and affordable.
My time as a resident at Parkway Terrace has had its ups and downs. I love how convenient Suitland Metro Station is right across the street, there isn't a lot of noise, there are few playgrounds for my children to enjoy. There is a laundry mat down the street within the complex. The only issue I had is due to an incident within my building where my door was riddled with bullets due to me standing up to outsiders lounging in my hallway indulging in drugs on Christmas Eve. I requested a new door in writing because my first attempt requesting a new unit for safety of my children was not acknowledged. The rental office agents did not change my door until about 6 months after the incident. They moved someone in next door to me while the holes were still in my door(not the image I would want a new or existing resident to see). If looking for somewhere to build credit this property is a start. I started paying my rent online to avoid having to deal with the rental office agents because they act like you are messing up their day as soon as you step foot in the door.If it wasn't for my rent increasing I would renew my lease despite the issue with the rental office agents, only for the convenience of metro and the quiet noise level.
Quiet Neighborhood Property Management is pleasant great location. cross from metro station down the street from various stores close to highway
I've been a resident here for almost 2 years, and I have one single word of advice...DO NOT MOVE HERE! The rental office staff is rude, and very unprofessional. I moved to this complex because the rent was affordable, but I am definitely getting what I'm paying for. My bathroom sink leaks causing black mold, my bedroom window is crank window and has been broken since I've moved here, I've called so many times to have it replaced but they just WON'T do it. I've had to call the corporate office on more than 2 occasions due to unsatisfactory service. My A.C. in my home went out in the middle of June and it took an entire MONTH for them to come and fix it. My car has been broken into, the cleaning staff comes maybe once a week to clean the hallways. If you ride metro or take the bus, that's the only upside to living here because the metro is a 5 minute walk. I can't WAIT until my lease is up, I've had it up to HERE with these people!
The management at the complex is very unprofessional!! Needs new improvement on maintenance services and employees' need to know the proper protocol by law when servicing a unit. Needs new management. Management does not follow Maryland State laws upon care handling their tenants and is unprofessionalism is beyond rude and obnoxious when you ask for help to understand. I pray for these tenants!!!
the location is fine ,the neighbors are the worst management is terrible apartment are very cold in winter time. Once you get in here you are subject to the nastiest manager and the horrific tenants ever.
The best advantage about this apartment community is that it is directly across from a metro station. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy. Although there are signs posted for no loitering, people constantly loiter outside the apartment buildings and in the street. Security is always majorly compromised due to tenants and tenant's guests propping the locked from the outside door open on a daily basis. The personnel's customer service is terrible. Once I called with an issue and was flat out told there's nothing we can do. Before I could finish what I was saying I was hung up on. Customer service is horrible.
