Many who live and work in the Fargo-Moorhead area have chosen an apartment in West Fargo because of its small-town feel. Plus, homes tend to be more budget-friendly.
There’s a huge sense of pride within West Fargo, and the cultural attractions and events here reflect that. One of the most famous places in this city is Bonanzaville. The “village” as it’s often referred to, encompasses 43 historic buildings on 12 acres of land. Here, you’ll be in awe by the artifacts and structures within this cool section of town.
West Fargo is also the home of the Red River Valley Fairgrounds. The fair, which is held every summer, features carnival rides, exhibits, performances, and a beer garden. Just east of the city is where you’ll find the Roger Maris Museum. Roger Maris was a professional baseball player who broke Babe Ruth’s home run record in 1961.
When it comes to shopping, residents have plenty of opportunities.

Property Ratings at Parkwest Gardens
Management is unprofessional at parkwest gardens.
The area is nice because it's not in a busy congested area. The apartment building itself is quiet and people you do run into are pleasant. Would like to see non-emergency issues resolved a little quicker.
Everything has been great so far living here. Every time I called about a issue it was addressed right away or the next day.
Our apartment is reasonably priced just wish they cleared the sidewalks when it snows
Charleswood Townhomes has exceeded my expectations! Maintenance requests are easy to make and have always been resolved in a timely matter. The neighborhood/community is lively and welcoming, we’re glad we chose this unit!
It's a nice quiet area to live. Grounds are kept pretty nice. People I've met are very friendly.
I wouldn't live there the staff is rude they don't care bout the property or the residents they roll eyes and say rude things to you! Property definitely not worth the amount of rent you pay!
Office staff was very helpful and friendly. My apartment was very clean when I moved in. I was very pleased to not have to wipe out drawers and cupboards before unpacking.
Holy smokes, swell housing and a quiet neighborhood? Satisfactory!!!!!!!!!
The buildings are older but well taken care of and established in the community. The neighbors are friendly and most everyone has a dog! Management is kind and helpful.
Overall things have been good except when maintenance has been called on to fix an issues. But, the community is very nice in my building. Have been able to meet almost everyone and have had a good experience getting to know them.
I like living at Clearview, however I feel that the raised rent was not justified considering how little gets done on the maintenance side and quality of snow removal was negligent. The building is old, kitchen needs a serious update, bathroom too.
Very good move in experience. I would recommend Goldmark Properties and specifically the Charleswood Townhomes to friends
We’ve been at Clearview for almost 4 years now. We have enjoyed making it our home, it is located in a relatively quiet neighborhood, we have definitely enjoyed being apart of this specific community. Look forward to keeping it our home for years to come.
We've waited a ling time to get into these townhomes and are very pleased with living here!
Clearview is a nice building with friendly and quiet neighbors. I love living here and the apartment itself is wonderful. Great value and great location!
They up the rent every time your lease is up even if they haven't improved the property one iota. And getting a specialized maintenance person will only happen if your air conditioner blows up and dumps freon into your apartment. Goldmark is your typical capitalistic bloodsucking landlord and they don't care if you end up homeless, they will raise your rent till the end of time.
I feel safe, respected, acknowledged by name and not just an apartment number, feel at home, convenient location
For 6 months now, I been living here the management has been doing good work and l pray that they continue to do good.
Nice friendly and inviting environment and neighbors.
Everything went smooth application process was quick move in was quick.
Have really enjoyed our time living here. One of the best values in West Fargo.
My experience here in the community is very pleasant. The staff is respectful and friendly they've allowed me to have a smooth transition and I feel comfortable. I'm happy with my new apartment home. I am also excited if I decide to get a pet they would be welcome as well.
As someone who was looking for somewhere to live and had a small window of time to execute a lease, Goldmark worked quick with me in the application and approval process. I am appreciative of their efforts and their being able to accommodate my move-in schedule.
Charleswood is a great place to live. Conveniently located without feeling too busy. Neighbors are friendly and courteous. Lots of space at a great price.
Well, since I moved in, my apartment wasn't cleaned up, as it was pretty nasty, the vent metals need to be renewed they didnt and maintenance said they won't replace the heater thermostat it needs to be upgraded, it's one from back in the early 90's it don't work very well. The stuff I am mainly upset with Gold Mark is that they don't ever take me serious, but the good is that they have hardwood laminate floors in the living room with they had it in the bedrooms also would be so much easier to maintain and they did finally get me a like new kitchen faucet after waiting 3mths to get it, but I also know that they all do there best with what they are allowed I guess..
Prairie Park is a great place to live and a great location to shopping and schools for your kids too. Free of crime also.
Overall good experience Spacious apartment Staff is extremely friendly
I have liked being here so far. I have always been treated fairly and believe this office has been great to work with.
So far living here making this my home has been a very professional and kind and also very knowledgeable when given a request to complete. I have been very happy here thus far. Kudos!
Management staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to help make my move in experience smooth and easy. Great price for my apartment and great location.
I don't like all the pit bulls that are being let in and the maintenance issues are bad other than that it's been an okay place to live I've been here over 12 years
Friendly staff and prompt when addressed with a situation or fixing of property. Doing a great job on keeping property looking nice and informing us of upcoming events...nice and quiet and neighbors I have are super sweet.
Don't rent here. Yes its cheap but its cheap for a reason. These apartments are poorly maintained. The paint job sucks, you can see layers of plaster on the walls. You can't wash the walls or the paint comes off. And forget about polite mangers, or actually getting to the property manager. She's always busy. Just don't rent here.
Very helpful staff to answer all questions and make the move in process a breeze.
Clearview is a great place to live, quiet neighborhood, decent neighbors, good location. Easy access to main roads
I feel the staff are very helpful and friendly, maintenance issues get resolved quickly, and the apartment size and features are excellent for the rent rate! Love the balcony space and the large parking area.
Great place to live, managed by friendly, understanding people in a wholesome neighborhood
I love the quality of life that being a Charleswood Townhome resident brings. My home is beautiful, comfortable, I have all the amenities I need and want, the perfect location, and I am treated like I am valued by the management and maintenance team.
Prairie Park is perfect for those looking for a cozy, safe, and animal friendly apartment!
We’ve lived here going on 3 years and have not had any major issues. Management allows us to live in peace and the entire community is quiet and peaceful. Most importantly it’s very safe and somewhere we are proud to call home
Charleswood Townhomes is a wonderful place to live. We moved into the community a little over two years ago, and haven't experienced any issues thus far. Rent is fair, the community is always clean thanks to our dedicated groundskeeper, maintenance requests are handled within a timely manner, management does a good job at communicating with their tenants, and our neighbors are extremely kind. I would definitely recommend living here to anyone interested in a townhome.
The staff were very friendly a friendly :) faces pleasant upon entry of an entry of office very helpful willing to help going to help you can ask any question you want they have the answers I appreciate the app the opportunity to speak with anyone in the staff
It’s good if you need a place for reasonable price.
Parkwest Gardens has met all my needs as a place to live.
Charleswood Townhomes is a great place to live. It has plenty of space and is well cared for. The double stall garages are very roomy. The snow removal is great. We have never had a problem getting out after a blizzard.
This building needs some serious help, and should be taken seriously.
its been a pretty good experience, the one issue i had when the power went out in my place was resolved same day and it was later in the night so maintenance is good on emergency needs.
I have had good experiences with the apartment , always there when I call for maintenance. The building is kept clean and quiet as most of the building respects each other . The rent is adequate for the space and what is included.
Great place to live. Near shopping, schools, and restaurants. All the perks of living in a house without the extra charges in a community you can be proud to call home!
