Property Ratings at Parkwood Village Apartments
We went for rental in this particular place because they post it on a rental app. The girl in the office was very mean to us. I guess she was having a bad day, but ??
Roaches and Water/Palmetto bugs. I’ve been living here for FIVE MONTHS. Not worth the cheaper rent when you’re constantly looking over your shoulder. Maintenance even warned me after signing the lease to expect leaks and small clogs due to the plumbing system being old and outdated. That’s exactly what has happened. Management communication is poor. The steps outside are supposed to have “diamond grip,” but are extremely slippery and dangerous when it rains. Both me and my two year old toddlers have slipped and we live on the second floor. Management has a serious issue with taking accountability and always has an excuse for why something is the way it is but rarely any solutions. Just find somewhere else to live.
Great customer service, The lady's in the office are so helpful and wonderful. Its a great place to live. everything is close by the school for my kids and the area is very quite. I love it.
The apartments are dated(built in the 60s), office staff is rude, they never really fix things just do "patchwork" jobs. I had an issue with my floor the entire year I lived there, each time I went to the office to pay my rent I would bring it to their attention... they NEVER fixed it!! The staircase leading to the second floor is rusty & rotting, they have yet to fix it! These are the worst apartments I've ever lived in!!!
Property Manager at Parkwood Village Apartments, Responded To This Review
we were built in 1967 for an older apartment community we try to serve all our residents and there concerns immediately unfortunately a report of any concern both in the unit or exterior of the property are taken care of in a timely manner and since 2011 we have been remodeling the property as a unit becomes available to cover any floor concerns in a unit as far as noise which occur even with a newer community which are problems that need to be handle after a vacancy now as far as a breezeway unfortunately we have metal steps and rust is something you can't prevent
