This mostly residential area is great for renters and commuters looking for apartments in a peaceful area but still close enough to experience Austin’s lively culture with a short drive. There are relaxing farmlands through this district and there is also plenty of green space for locals to enjoy. Less than 10 minutes away, Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park offers great hiking and biking trails along with a pool and playground. Travel back to a simpler time at quaint Pioneer Farms where you can take old-fashioned classes like blacksmithing, candle making, backyard farming, and more.

I have rented for many years, and this was the worst renting experience my family and I have ever had. I wish I would have listened to the reviews mentioning trash, noise, etc. When I first scheduled an appointment to view the apartments I showed up on time and nobody was at the office. I waited an hour before finally leaving. I gave it a second chance and showed up the next day to be told they didn't see my appointment but let me view apartments on my own. When I came back to the office to drop off the keys, one of the workers was being yelled at because it had been months since they requested their garage be fixed, and they had still not fixed it. She walked up to me and told me to not make the mistake of moving in like she did. Still, we moved in due to the price and location convenience for work. A few months in all of our neighbors started moving out and others were moving in. We immediately regretted our decision as soon as our new neighbors moved in. They threw parties every other day, blasted music at all hours throughout the day and night, and smoked weed all the time outside which always got into our apartment since the insulation of these apartments are garbage. We complained to the complex several times and were given the runaround over and over again which ultimately ended in nothing but notes left on their door which they would just throw away and play music even louder as retaliation. It got so bad that we couldn't sleep in two of our rooms because one of our neighbors was a "DJ" and made music all night. They would even have friends over and do donuts in the parking lot. All concerns were dismissed by Parmer Place. They provided no solutions to keep my family safe and I strongly suggest you reconsider moving in to this place. You will not get sleep, you'll always see trash, and will never have the support a property management team should provide.

I scheduled a tour for the complex several days in advance and received a reminder email directly from the property that morning. When it came time for the tour (during normal business hours), the doors to their office were locked and no one was there. I waited 20 minutes to see if anyone would show up, but no luck there. No explanation or apology whatsoever. This told me everything I needed to know about this property... take your search elsewhere.

I have lived here for over 3 years and absolutely love this place. Their maintenance is top notch and the staff are friendly, efficient and very helpful. It is very quiet, sometimes almost too quiet...lol. The grounds are beautiful and everything is kept up to date and maintained very well. All of my requests have been responded to almost immediately. If it's not urgent, they let you know when they can get over. But its most always been within 24 hours. I love the monthly events they do. They are constantly thinking up new things to do for the tenants. They love pets and even have a dog park. You will not regret moving here!!

They started a green program in the middle of lease year where they changed everyone's faucets and turned the water pressure to extremely low. With this water pressure you can barely wash anything let alone blenders or large cookware.

Moved in last year and haven't had any problems. Nice apartment with attached garage and a private yard for my dog. You don't usually find that in an apartment.

I have lived at many different apartments around Austin in the last 11 years and Parmer Place has become my number one place to live. I have lived here for only a few months but as of right now I couldn't be happier. Elise made my move easy and everyone else that I have talked to in the office has been great. My apartment is cozy and I love the more home like feel of the community. So far, so good!

We're made to pay rent on time and they can't get the pool to pass City Code/Inspection. Handle your business like we're are expected to handle paying our rent. If it's not the gate, the trash and the bad misused parking spots for non-working cars/trucks or trailers...what's next??? Time for new take overs in the front office!

I am aware this response is delayed but I wanted to follow up now that we have access to respond. I greatly apologize for your experience. Please know that the pool was technically fine but The City decided to force us to make changes to the pool that were approved by them at construction. This was a surprise and unfortunately could not have been predicted. The pool is now better than ever and if you are still living at Parmer Place I hope you are enjoying it! Also know that every Wednesday we walk the property for any vehicles out of code but if you see something that we have missed please let us know and we are more than happy to address it. I've been here about a year and am surprised how much like home it feels. The hallways are wide, and the bedrooms are good size. There is ample parking. Management and maintenance are prompt with requests. However, the trash compactor has been broken going on four months now, so there is a large roll-away dumpster on site. Also, the kitchen and cabinets in our three bedroom are so narrow as to render them almost unusable. Overall, I definitely recommend!
Parmer Place is great, wonderful neighbors. Very friendly. Like any other apartment place. There's a pool, gym, club room that has tv, free wifi in the gym, computers, fax in case you need it, free of all charges. As long as I lived here, it's been wonderful. Yes, there has be complaints but other than that, great. The area is amazing, there's a farm next door, so you're always greeted by cows. And rabbits that cross the fence. The apartments alone are fantastic, they replace the rugs once someone moves out. (Some apartments have rugs.) Re-paint, fixes, etc. Some have garages, be aware. Parking can be a pain without one. PETS ALLOWED! Just need a deposite.
