Property Ratings at Parq at East Arcadia
Stay far away from Parq at East Arcadia unless you are okay with maintenance requests that take 3 months, a pool that is never open, kids that are absolutely terrible, a non functioning gym, dog poop everywhere, a gate that does not work, car break-ins, and balcony violations ($25-$75) for small things
Property Manager at Parq at East Arcadia, Responded To This Review
It is hard to see this feedback about our community, and I am dissapointed that you have not had the experience you had hoped for while living here. We aim for 5-star service, and it is very upsetting to hear that we have let you down. I apologize for the delay in maintenance requests along with the other issues you addressed. These do not sound like the ideal living situations that we strive to provide, and I am sorry for that. I would like the chance to speak with you about your concerns. If you're willing, please reach out at your convenience. Thank you, Anali - Community Manager - 602.354.5936
I would not recommend moving to Parq At East Arcadia as it has truly been the worst apartment experience I have had since moving to Arizona. This post will be long but if you’re thinking of moving here this is genuine experiences so feel free to read. Water is shut off atleast 1x a week and sometimes THEY WONT TELL YOU TILL ITS OFF. On top of that, their “boilers” which heat up the water for you will randomly stop working atleast 1x a week causing you to only have cold water until they are able to “repair” the boilers again which then stop working the next week. It’s a never ending cycle at this point. We have had people stealing equipment from the gym leaving only the 40/50s lbs dumbbells in the gym and the apartments won’t put new ones in. Kids will go hangout in the gym and you’ll find trash, weights, elastic bands, etc etc thrown all throughout the gym looking like a mess. We had our bikes locked up at the bike racks in front of our apartment and someone cut the lock and stole my mountain bike. Thankfully it was not an expensive one but shows you can not leave things unattended even in a gated community. Speaking of the gate, IT NEVER WORKS. Both gates are WIDE OPEN 24/7 so you might as well just not have them. Because of this, I have seen transients in the parking lots looking into car windows (can only assume up to no good). The internet that “comes with the apartment” is old and outdated so we had to go to Cox in order to get a whole new modem which we pay them $15/month on top of the $70/month the apartments charge for the internet that does not actually work in the units. We had a plumbing leak which we fixed ourselves but the service team was actually quick to respond to that one and the kid was nice. Our apartment never came with a screen door to the patio and we are right in front of the dog park… so flys can be a thing. Maintenance came to take measurements and said they would be coming back - that was in November and it’s now February. I have always tried to be patient with the apartments BEFORE ever submitting a bad review but all the leasing office EVER has to say is “I’m sorry”. Quite frustrating dealing with all of this (and I’m sure more that I’m forgetting) when you pay such a high price to live here. ALL of this stated above HAS been brought to their attention already with no change
Property Manager at Parq at East Arcadia, Responded To This Review
This is certainly not the accommodating living space we expect for our residents and I sincerely apologize for the water, internet, and other issues you've experienced in our community. I am very concerned to see all this feedback and that it hasn't been properly addressed by our team. I understand how frustrating this must be, and I'd like to speak with you directly about your experience now. Please give me a call at your earliest convenience. Thank you, Anali - Community Manager - 602.354.5936
Don’t move here they don’t fix anything save your time and money .
Do not move here! The water is shut off 1-2 times a week for hours due to “repairs” often without 24 hours notice (most of the time you get an email the water will be shut off after it’s already been shut off). Apartments are always flooding due to all of their plumbing issues. There’s a bad roach problem here (we’ve had several in our apartment). No one cleans up after their dogs. The kids here go into the gym and mess with the equipment (running on the treadmill at max spread, hanging off the smith machines etc). The police are here all the time (there was a shooting here over the summer). The front gates don’t work (they’re supposed to close everyday after the office leaves but they haven’t for the past 4-5 months). The dog park is constantly flooded because they have sprinkler issues. Don’t let the “nice renovated” apartments and common areas fool you.
Moved in during renovations to the property. You can tell that they're working on upgrades throughout. While there are some inconveniences with moving to an older place, the staff at Parq at East Arcadia does a great job. Maintenance is attentive and is quick to jump on work orders, the leasing staff is beyond friendly and communicative. It's the people working here that make this place 5 stars. Hard to beat the price with the location too. Haven't had any issues with pests.
Its in a good area and I would say its peaceful because kids outside dont bother me. I dont like how water is always being turned off and it happened before without my knowledge when I came home from work and it my hot water was also off before without proper notice. Other than that everything else is fine.
Water has never worked in the three years Ive worked here. I have had my water shut down multiples times even on thanksgiving and Christmas. Things are never repaired or completed. Good potential but seems like management keeps just putting a bandaid over issues rather than get to the root of the issues.
It is a great place to live in. Im just still waiting on a washer/dryer. THAT WE REQUESTED, multipled times throughout the year. Other than that, everything is perfect. It is cheaper than anywhere else and love Arizona.
I have yet to see any reviews mention rats in this god awful complex but trust me they are there. I have a video of a rat in one of the bedrooms from the apartment we used to rwnt there. The prices are ridiculous for what you get . There are bed bugs and roaches of all kinds. They turn off the water basically weekly because of "repairs". Maintenance takes forever and they will just walk right into your apartment whether you approved it or not. The building is falling apart from the outside. there is always trash and dog poop everywhere. The parking lot floods whenever it rains and the gates never work which makes having a gated community pointless. They also have lots of water damage and mold. Its an awful place.
BEDBUGS My experience here was horrible. I have rented many apartments but have never had the bug experience that I had here. We had bedbugs that we found crawling on the walls, roachs on the walls, crawling out of every crack imaginable. Just because Tides took over and is renovating the hellhole, doesnt make it disgusting underneath. The bugs will come out. You will have to wash all your clothes, bedding, carpets, and you still wont feel clean. Highly don't recommend.
We have gone through multiple office staff members making almost impossible to have any issues addressed and remedied. If they do not have a response for you or a question you ask they simply just don't respond or they roll their eyes at you. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in your neighboring apartments at all hours of the day or night. There are constant water issues causing turn offs almost on a biweekly basis where emails instruct to "plan your showers accordingly". Children ride their scooters across the pavement in the court yard and down past all the buildings unsupervised, running back and forth between buildings and throwing rocks (why I had to move my initial apartment location on ground level so I could avoid any damages). The ATF raided a condo just a few weeks ago for gun running. The police presence here is constant (evictions/complaints etc). I have documented and requested parking changes after damage to my vehicle and having someone parked in my assigned spot at least twice a week for the last six months and my requests have been ignored. I should not have to worry about the safety of my vehicle in a gated community. I'm terminating my lease early and could not be happier with my decision. I should have actually taken the reviews into consideration when moving in here because looks like nothing has changed.
Do not sign a lease with Soltice!!!! They constantly have plumbing issues and the water is in turn constantly being shut off for maintence. In the past month we have had flooding in our unit 4 times from poor upkeep of outside irrigation system and plumbing. Soltice management does not take any form of responsibility for this either. It has been addressed on numerous occasions and they still have not resolved the issue. Personal belongs, carpeting, baseboards, possible mold issues, etc are being ruined. It has been very frustrating living here and dealing with the poorest management I've ever seen at a complex. You will waste your time and money by signing a lease here. Please take caution and heed my warning before signing a lease here.
I love Solstice apartments. it is on the border of Phoenix and Scottsdale. The location is wonderful. I am 5 minutes from the gym, the grocers and 10 minutes from Fashion Square. Close to downtown Phoenix, old town Scottsdale and Tempe, you are close to great restaurants, the Sun Devils and the business district. The community is diverse and wonderful. I have lived here 3 years and love Anna the manager and Marco the maintenance man. Affordable and renovated. Can't be it!!
There cool, not in a bad neighborhood and a friendly environment!
I LOVE my kitchen. So quiet I was able to switch to tele-commuting. Parking is ample. Maintenance concerns are resolved quickly. Brand new laundry room.
Generally quite place. Nice appliances. Neighbors in upstairs apartments might be loud including running their appliances. A lot of noise from water pipes and laundry from upstairs apartments if you live on the ground floor. Newly repaved parking lot. Staff is friendly and helpful. New common laundry washing machines don't wash clothes well at all.
