Also called the Warehouse District, Rivertown is a trendy urban locale and is one of the city’s fastest-growing neighborhoods. Once filled with warehouses and factories a decade ago, Rivertown now offers upscale converted lofts and condos, but there are more affordable rental options available as well. Located in Downtown Detroit and nestled along the Detroit River, Rivertown boasts an amazing location and abundant amenities. Along with housing excellent restaurants, retailers, and nightlife spots, Rivertown has several waterfront green spaces for residents to enjoy. You’ll find locals strolling along the scenic Detroit Riverwalk at the William G. Milliken State Park and Harbor, catching a show at the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre, or cooling off at the Mount Elliott Park splash pad during the summer. The neighborhood is also convenient to Belle Isle Park, a 982-acre green space with an aquarium, beach, and so much more.

Property Ratings at Pasadena Apartments - Newly Renovated
Deceptive,Want u to apply & pay app fee of $50 plus $7 if u pay via credit card before they show u a unit which they do a HARD credit check which dings ur credit for 2 yrs in addition to the lack of parking, low quality "remodeled" units heating & bug infection yeah RUN!
I have lived here for nearly three years now and am loving my stay here at the Pasadena Apartments. The office staff is incredible and the maintenance is always fast and professional. I don't pay for parking and have never had an issue finding safe street parking (even as the city tries to minimize the number of spaces we have). The apartment themselves are a decent size. Sometimes, there isn't enough counter space. But, I make do with what I have. Also, this place is the most affordable within a 3-mile radius for sure, especially to be in the thick of downtown. All of the neighbors are quiet and respectable. The value is unbeatable.
I just helped my son move into Pasadena Apartments. I cannot say enough about the wonderful assistance that we received from Tawanna and Tony. Tawanna is a lovely, hard working professional who takes her work seriously. She takes care of the tenants at the Pasadena, and is very attentive to their needs. Her interpersonal skills are extraordinary. Her value to the company is immeasurable, and I look forward to seeing her the next time I visit my son there. Tony is in charge of security there and helps tenants with all sorts of things. He made sure that we had easy access to the freight elevator when we were moving in. He helped my son unload and carry everything into his apartment on the seventh floor. He is a very nice man, and it is clear that he really cares about the tenants. The Pasadena is an historic building that dates back to the turn of the 20th century. Vestiges of its former grandness are still there, including high ceilings, great original wood floors, beautiful tiled hallways, and some great old fixtures. In recent years, they have been making a great effort to reclaim this wonderful old building. My son's studio was exceedingly clean the day he moved in. He loves the old bathroom fixtures, and the kitchen with granite countertops, double stainless sink, and clean appliances. He is a chef, so he knows a clean oven when he sees one. He has a stunning and uninterrupted view of the beautiful Detroit skyline to the west. He could walk to the GM building in under 20 minutes, and public transportation is right at the front door 24/7. He rides his bicycle anywhere he wants to go on well defined and maintained bike lanes. If he wanted a car, he could park it in secure parking for a mere 40/month! But a person can actually live well without a car from this location. In short, The Pasadena is a great option for folks wanting downtown at a reasonable price.
my boyfriend and I went and looked at he apartments and the lady tawanna in the office was so nice and was very helpful and patient with all of our questions! definitely excited about this place! can't wait to move in.
Went and applied for an apartment there today the lady helping me in the office was so nice and answered all my question hope to be a part of the community soon
Pasadena is right along the riverwalk, which takes you directly to downtown. Great to bike or walk into the city when the weather is nice. I lived on the top floor for 1 year and had a great view of the city. The building itself is old and there were some issues with plumbing and the elevators, but for the price nothing in the area comes close to having the amenities. Everything (except gated parking) is included in rent, and most of the apartments have hardwood flooring. The staff was by far the nicest I have ever encountered. Tawanna in the main office is great and all the guys who do maintenance are helpful and kind. I moved because of work, but otherwise I probably would have stayed.
You can see the Detroit river really well out the kitchen window and a great view of the city out the living room window. The night views are great when everything is lit up. This is a historical building so it has complete charm in that regard. We spend some time on the front of the building and that gave us an opportunity to interact with some residents. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and most helpful too. Location is perfect. So easy to get where ever you want to go. I suppose some people may like to read about how safe one feels staying here in Detroit... No issues with that whatsoever... Anyone with these concerns need not worry one bit...
I been living at the Pasadena for almost 4yrs and I love it. The people here are really nice and they made so many changes since then. There's a store downstairs, updated kitchens, new lighting in the parking lot with cameras and a new laundry room. There's a property manager onsite during business hours and there's always someone to sign for packages and will hold it in the office for you. There's a lot of new tenants, some are families, some college students it's a good variety. The best thing I like about the apartment is it's convenient to the downtown area without all the congestion and the apartment is really nice. With high ceilings, really thick walls and a great view of the Detroit river.
Ive been here for the past year, and its an okay place to live. Neighbors are friendly and stay to themselves. The apartments are nice, and I dont think any 2 are the same, and the lights and gas are included in the rent. If you have a guest there is no way to buzz them in, so you have to go downstairs and get them. The parking lot is okay, but they dont plow them in the winter, and if they do plow they dont put salt down. One lot is directly next to the building, and the other lot is back closer to Chene park, and there are abandoned cars back there, but they keep up the grounds pretty well. They are in the midst of updating a lot of stuff though, but its still an old building. Its close enough downtown to enjoy it, but since its so close to Chene Park traffic does get a little annoying. All in all, it got me adjusted to living downtown, and now I wanna move in the heart of the city before it gets too expensive!
Jefferson Ave is a little loud, Chene Park concerts are havoc in the summer. Apartment is hardwood floors, large closets, great view. Building is quit, elevators are a little sketch, but there is a store downstairs and gated parking
