Property Ratings at Patrick Henry Apartments
The flats have clearly been neglected for years! Given the rent, there are no genuine amenities, which is understandable. Major plumbing troubles that were only temporarily resolved just resurfaced a few weeks later. If you're a college student looking for an inexpensive off-campus apartment, this is a terrific offer, but bear in mind that it will be difficult at times. If you move in, you may expect major maintenance concerns as well as drama with your neighbors. The landlords are fine and eager to work with folks if they run into financial difficulties. This cannot be said of other apartments in the neighborhood. Long story short you get what you pay for and that is life at Patrick Henry Apartments!
For people with low rent budget and who need more space, this is the place. When I moved here, I was really skeptic since many people told me that the buildings are too old and they have maintenance issues but later I found out that it was two years ago. Jeff, the maintenance guy, is a savior. Even if you call him late night for some issue in the apt, he will attend your call and be there in an hour and the issue will be resolved in the matter of few hours. Donna, the landlady, is too good. She is very accommodating and unlike other apt where they charge you a lot after vacating, she has a fixed rate for all the damage which is merely nothing. I had subleased the apt and people had been living in my apt since 3 years but even then when I was leaving, she charged me just 75 bucks with a proper reason. Also, she will timely remind you for rent by sending messages or whats app. I had a very good experience staying here. Neighbors are very friendly. The only disadvantage is the smell when you enter the building and also we had water outage twice for a span of 1 hour which was immediately rectified by Jeff when we called him.
Great Thanks to Dona because she is a good caring and rapid response person. Also i appreciated for this apartment's maintenance Team (Jeff). Here ! Rent is reasonable price and good maintenance.
- Leaking roof (ceiling) - Landlord doesn't care about issues much - maintenance guy never fixes issues permanently , always apply a workaround which cause more damage - With that much of rent you can get better and bigger place ( just next to those apartment) - Wont suggest for families - Smelly common area - People smoke inside the building - Stains on walls because of leaking and dripping roof - All room door closet ready to fell, landlord doesn't care much - Basement is dirty - Laundry area is dirty and machines doesn't work properly - Cant use storage area in basement because of water Leake and damage
