Property Ratings at Patriot Crossing
I have been out of this place for a year, but when they got new management, the place started going downhill. The rent was going up, and it felt that the management only cared about the landscaping. There was once when my neighbors water heater broke, and so my apartment got flooded. We called emergency maintenance and they didn't respond until the next day. They take a long time to solve problems, but go just fast enough that you can't report them. For the price I paid, it was worth it. They keep raising rent too much, and it's not worth it.
It receives a cordial and extraordinary treatment its workers give the maximum in all aspects their maintenance are fast and efficient they dominate their work they are respectful and give unconditional support to the residents of this condominium congratulations
I've lived here for a year and a half and I have had no major issues. I had one issue with the sink and maintenance was there the same day. The staff isn't nice, but they aren't rude either. They kinda just don't care. The apartments are small, and the back door from the parking lot opens into the bedroom which sucks, but it's a minor inconvenience, except for the fact that checking your mail isn't 'on the way in' so the mailboxes get so stuffed the postal worker has to put some mail outside the boxes. You can smell everything your neighbors cook and can hear when they take a shower. If there's a kid or overweight person above you, you will hear every jump or step. But if you have kids there is a very small playground and tables for parents to sit, and the people that live there ae pretty nice. They give you until the 8th to pay your rent(with 10% late fee after the 5th), but if your paycheck falls a day or so after that they send you a letter telling you to move out in 7 days. My apartment is one of the 'remodeled' ones, but really the kitchen is what you should expect from any apartment. The older apartments have stoves you would see in a 1950's black and white tv show. There are also NO roaches or bedbugs which is very important, but you have to ask for them to spray your apt. It's ok, but if you can afford $20-50 more per month you could do better. All-in-all I say meh. You could do worse, but you could also do better.
We have lived here for 3 years and have had nothing but a pleasant experience. We came in at the same time as the new management and have seen nothing but amazing improvements. Almost all of the complaints in the other reviews have been addressed in one way or another. There used to be kids running around so they built 2 very nice playgrounds areas and picnic/grill areas which has completely eliminated that issue. The parking lots have been repaved, they are renovating some apartments and I have never ever had an issue with maintenance. Sometimes they are short handed but they outsource the maintenance if they can't get to it. Management is super friendly and if they were "on their phones eating bon bons" it was probably because they were working through their lunch answering emails and helping tenants. While the office closes at 5 or 6, I have had responses to my email questions as late as 9 at night. We had an issue with out neighbors being loud and management addressed it right away, letting them know that they would not tolerate it. You cannot beat the rent price or the pet rent, especially in a neighborhood as nice as Yorktown. It is definitely worth checking out for yourself.
I've been living here for about 2 years and can say that it's been a terrible experience. I can hardly sleep at night due to the neighbors constantly yelling at night. The windows are so old that it sounds like they are right beside me. Speaking of the windows, my bedroom window is coming out of the frame. Anytime there's some heavy wind it pops out. Maintenence hasn't come out to fix it in since we put the work order in 2 weeks ago. Maintenance is a joke. They can't keep the same people for very long and currently only have one person. I had an incident that required an emergency maintenance call and couldn't even get somebody to come! The next day I told the office and they simply said, "Oh, I apologize, I'll see what happened" and that was it. Finally, kids run around in the parking lot at all times of day. That wouldn't be an issue, except they've scratched up my new car. I have a scratch about a foot and a half long across the hood. Do NOT rent from here. Things were nice at the beginning of my 2 year tenure, but have rapidly become worse.
This is the worst place I have ever lived at they have one set of rules for you and different set of rules for your neighbors. They can break all rules in their lease and the office turns their heads. Abandon vehicles but the building and your neighbors can park 2-3 cars up at the building why you have to park in the middle, Neighbors are loud, disrespectful dope dealing etc. Drug deals go on all hours of the night the management wont do anything they are too busy texting and eating their bon bons. The only time the office is nice is when it is rent day......If you complain to the office about the surroundings they will tell you they don't care if you stay or move out. Pizza hut wont even deliver after dark due to the robberies. My place has been broken into many times....Maintenance wont even fix anything here our oven hasn't worked since the day we moved in......One neighbor has been approached a few times by strange men in the area. One neighbor thought gun shots were going off one night that the neighbors and drug deals got so loud. You cant have people visiting too often or they want you to put them on your lease they are money hungry pigs here. Even when I moved in the carpet was dirty and nasty and I asked to be put in another apt and the management laughed and said no and if I didn't like this apartment I can leave now and lose my deposit. Several of these apts have been on fire that they restored so beware of it.
My apartment isn't much but when you have a small budget and limited moving time, you have no choice. NO THIS IS NOT A SAD, PLEA REVIEW lol.. I recently moved, and I guess you can say I'm starting to getting used to it. When I first seen it, I really disliked it. The apartment wasn't really what I was used to but oh well. Not to mention I locked myself out on the first day. The only way the door would open is using WD40 lol.. & let's just say that was a VERY MESSY situation. The neighborhood is quiet though. It could use more maintenance & there are no light bulbs in the bedroom or living. Also the doors could use some touching up.
