Pebblebrook Apartments

I read many reviews, good and bad, from this place. This one is mine. In all these years I might had gone to complain about something at the office maybe 3 times. The staff was different each time. I really like the enviroment, location, the fact that include most utilities. My apartment is comfortable, and when I needed maintenance to take care of something they got things done next day (if I call late). I got myself locked out just once, and they were very dilligent to resolve my problem. It's 90% quiet where my apartment is ubicated, maybe I had been lucky with very considerate neighbors everytime someone move in. So close to the highways, so close to a park, stores and a mall in at most 2 miles! I will eventually have to move to be closer to my new job, but I can't find ALL the advantages I have here (except maybe getting a unit with my own washer and dryer elsewhere, that would be my upgrade). You never know who will be your neighbor here or anywhere else, but other than that I strongly recommend Pebblebrook Apartments. P.S. The only people's cars towed are those without permits parked everywhere but at the visitors' parking spots.

Worst place ever! Over priced and cars are either getting towed, rims stolen, catalytic converter stolen. There’s a towing company that regularly comes and tows cars. Catalytic converter got stolen and every thing is going downhill from here. Can’t wait to move out.

Cheryl is the best been living here for 2 years now and my family and I love it. Down the street from the mall and there’s is a lot of shopping center around the area. If you plan on moving here you will not regret it. THANK YOU CHERYL YOUR THE BEST!!!

Worst apartment complex we ever stayed in. Bugs. Incompetent nasty workers. Poor apartments .overcharging , add nonexistant fees terrible terrible place

I feel great knowing that my son lives here. His apartment was very clean with a great kitchen and new tile in the bathroom. Big shout out to Cheryl in the leasing office, she has been nothing but professional, helpful and very understanding.

Me and my husband recently moved here and so far it is great. The apartment we moved in to is well maintained and we had no issues with appliances. There has been one snow fall and maintenance was on it cleaning the parking spot right away. The only issue is the parking. It does get tricky finding a parking because many cars are parking multiple cars in the area of the building even ones that do not live in the building. So finding parking as a resident in front of the building we live in can be very tricky. Other wise despite the hard to find parking everything else is great & we love it here!

This is one of the WORST places I have ever lived. They DO NOT care about their residents. At all. They lack in communication; they treat us like trash. Something is wrong? They won't email, call or text they'll leave a letter in your door and hope you'll find it at some point. I have never hated property management so much. Their "communication" consists of random pieces of paper spread throughout the complex near the elevators. Everyone's rent is so high, yet they have not completed any of the work they started. The lobby is half painted because they just never finished last year. Work is always being done on the roof. Appliances are always breaking. It's absolutely disgusting. They have a new policy in effect including towing and snow removal and it is so disgusting the way they treat their residents. Haven't had a chance to move your car 5 minutes after it snowed? They WILL tow you and smack a million high fees on top of it. They do not care about the community they just care about the money that is going into it. Living here was an absolute joke. Save yourself the time, the money, and the headache and look somewhere else.

I just signed my lease to move into Pebblebrook in August and could not be happier! The management made the application process easy! They answered any questions I had and made me feel very welcomed. The complex is beautiful with many fantastic amenities including a on campus gym and laundry room in every building. The apartment is very roomy with lots of closet space. I can’t wait to begin my new chapter at Pebblebrook!

There is no security in this building to patrol in this area considering there are multiple reports of theft and damage to vehicles. The staff is very rude and some buildings have rats and roaches. They raise their rent with out any accommodation to the tenants and overall a poor decision to move here please do not live here.

I recently signed a lease on 4/1 and couldn’t be more happy. The process of applying and leasing was an excellent experience. Office staff was incredible and helpful throughout the process. Very communicative and friendly, able to answer all of my questions. The complex and apartment are beautiful, many amenities that make it worth. Pebblebrook’s location is perfect because it is central to everything and I have convenient access to highways. Very satisfied with my experience.

We just recently signed a lease with Pebblebrook and our leasing agent Erica made the process effortless. She answered every question you could possibly think of and made us feel so welcomed. She was extremely caring and patient with us through the entire process. Thank you Erica!

I lived here for two years. I like that it had enough parking, laundry machines on every floor, residents are friendly, maintenance staff responded quickly, and it's an excellent location for stores and highway access. The front office has been inconsistent in attitude and the mail situation was unacceptable. Packages would end up in the main office, your lobby, or another building. You would never know which, even if you checked the tracking info. There needs to be a new system put in place to improve that. I would never send important mail there.

I recently moved in here and when I walked into my apartment for the first time I was given a roll of toilet paper, a new plunger, a new sink stopper in the kitchen and ice cube trays. These items may seem small to some but it was such a grand gesture to me. I’ve lived in many apartments and never received anything extra in the apartment. It was like a nice apartment warming gift and speaks volumes to the level of service you get from the staff. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking to move to the area!!

When looking for a simple one bedroom I was gifted with the opportunity to be guided throughout the process by Erica. Erica was not satisfied until we were approved and finally moved in. Her hard work and dedication has made our stay here at pebble Brooke an amazing experience !

Ive lived here for a year now and i have many complaints about this property. 1st of the maintenance people are always sluggish when it come to fixing thing that you call about if they even come to fix it. They are also very rude I had one of them laugh in my face because i told him he missed a spot and he could not see it he called the supervisor and he apoligized for the person but was still defending him saying that he was probably laughing because he was nervous. 2ndly I asked for an updated apartment and what i go was not the updated apartment, when i called the main office to do something about it they told me that because i moved in already they cannot fix it. So I asked well if it cannot be updated can my rent be adjusted as such and i was flat out told no because i signed the lease. But they had me sign the lease before inspecting the apartment which at the time i did not know was supposed to be done in order to make sure everything was correct. Theres more issues but those i believe are the most important for you guys to know. Overall i say that the apartment is just okay because it is in a nice area and its quiet but for the rent i believe it should be cheaper for reasons above and others as well

After living there for multiple years, I noticed a lot that we had originally turned a blind eye to when we first moved in. The management is wonderful and a great location when you factor in the Target and the Costco right down the road. However, unless you want your car tires stolen, I don’t think you should live here. I didn’t have it personally happen to me, but there would be multiple days within a week when I’d get home and find a car sitting on milk crates. Devastating to see and scary for someone who’s living there and fears their car could be next. Not to mention that during the summer, if you want peace and quiet, this isn’t the place. The buildings are full of kids and during the summer, all of it is screaming from the pool area; a little hard to get used to. Not a terrible place to live, and it did the job, but choose carefully and make sure you know where you’re living.

PebbleBrook apartments is a nice place to live I’ve been here going on 2yrs now and love it! Sheryl in the office is an Assist to the company she’s awesome to deal with!!!! love having the pool area and gym, I highly recommend it, it’s definitely a safe place to live...

I love living next to all the stores in the area, everything is so convenient. My apartment is so nice and cozy. This is my first Apartment, and I can't thank the staff enough for helping me chose the perfect apartment. I will recommend this place to my friends and family for sure.

Pebblebrook Apartment is a great place to rent! The location is perfect for accessing Downtown Hartford, and West Hartford Center, as well as being close but not too close to the wealth of shopping centers along the Berlin turnpike and the Silas Deane. The apartments are cozy, comfortable, and well kept. The landscaping always looks beautiful and the pool is great to use during the summer. The apartments are very cozy and spacious. Love they include heat, hot water & cooking gas.The leasing consultants, and maintenance crew do a great job making the apartment complex feel more like a home! I highly recommend.

U get what u paid for not a quite place to live lots of thefts office workers can't do anything for my property lost and when I complaint for too much noise from upstairs all they say was "call the police" they still live there and still fight . Even polices are retarded here don't come here

I have lived here for year and half, I have experience all kind of crap such as stolen tires which cost me 3800 bucks out of my pocket and office manager or office works can't do anything about it won't even let me break the lease horrifying. Once a week i have someone knocking on the door to see I'm home or not and turn the knob I'm scare to live here , also upstairs fight once in a while called the office about it but they didn't do anything about it they said " call the police " which didn't solve anything , I have until nov being scare to live at my home . Please think twice u move in , not a quite place to live...

Still in my first year living at Pebblebrook Apartments, but I plan to stay for a second. If you can find 3 people to fill a 2 bedroom, you'll be paying a lower rent than the majority of ill-maintained houses and apartments surrounding CCSU that's rented out to students by sketchy landlords. For what we pay, it is SO much nicer than what's on Stanley street, Anise st, Hillcrest ave, Allen street, etc. However, the management at Pebblebrook is not the best. THEY lost our security deposits and expected us to give over more money, good thing we saved our receipts.

I lived there from 2012-2016 While the property itself is a good value, the office staff is incompetent. Understandably there is high turn over in those roles, but each subsequent associate is as poor as the last. They are consistently terrible with customer service and follow up. Get a receipt or written documentation for everything! That includes rent payments, work orders, gym card deposits etc. Policies change over time but they attempt to hold you accountable to the current policy, regardless of when you entered the contract. The burden then lies on us, the tenant, to prove our claim. They are AWFUL with call backs. Do not expect for them to follow up. They routinely were unable to resolve an inquiry on the spot and promised to research and call me back. Never happened.

I love living in Pebblebrook apartments. I will not talk much about the interior and design as we all know this apartment has been built nicely. The most beautiful and convincing part of this place is that people of all communities(from different regions and religions) are living together here like a family. I have never encounter any trouble here. It is like heaven created by the God where there is no talks of regions and religions and only the humanity talk. Moreover , it is surrounded by lush green fields.I need not to talk about the shopping and all because its location in Map will describe the amazing restaurants and shopping centers nearby to this apartments.

I have lived throughout the state of Connecticut. Pebblebrook apartment far exceeds my expectations all of the time. The rental office staff are great and the property is quiet and safe at all times.

Location is perfect for the busy always on the go individual. You have shopping awesome restaurants all within 2 miles distance, there is a great park right behind our complex as well as Central State University. There is a swimming pool, fitness room and tennis courts that are very well maintained.

Overall a great place to live. Located near everything you could possible need. Staff is very nice. A few draw backs, wish it had central air or air conditions in every room, a dumpster for recycling and free laundry(doesn't everyone wish for that). But overall a great place to live.

Despite there being small children at times running around, the apartment is generally very quiet. The rent is fair due to the amenities which include a washer and dryer, tennis courts, gym, and outdoor swimming pool. Maintenance is on site and they are very quick in making repairs. In general I highly recommend this apartment to college students, families, and even the elderly.

Love living here. Heat hot water included. Great closet space. Roomie when my roommate and myself moved in brand new carpeting put in. Also everyone in the leasing office is nice. On call maintenance and they always come when you need then does not take days to hear back. Very family friendly environment. Has a pool thats always clean. Also laundry room and fitness center neat and tidy as well. Overall great apartment to live in. Will be sad to leave this place.

We visited Pebblebrook, it was our first apartment in the CT area that we saw, never pick your first look, there was so much better. They did not show us an apartment that we would be renting they showed us a sample apartment, even though the rooms were nice, the kitchen was very small, I was taller than the fridge, the only thing you could see out of all the windows was the pool and the cupboards looked very 70's. We then went for a tour, the hallways were carpeted and not clean and you can smell everyones food cooking which was horrible and kids screaming from some apartments. The laundry room was in the basement, there were lots of washer and dryers but the place was filthy. The gym was the size of an apartment and there was water all over the floor that the lady had to clean up while she showed it to us (thus wondering why did not clean it up) plus it smelled like BO really bad. I did not feel safe in this building and it definalty did not feel like it could be my home. I was not thrilled about having to take my laundry down four floors plus if we had visitors we would have to go and let them in instead of buzzing them up.

Not bad for the money. Snow removal stinks need new contractor other then that property is pretty good
