The community hosts a thriving Downtown district loaded with locally-owned specialty shops, eclectic restaurants, and entertainment venues—Swing by the Peekskill Farmers’ Market at the center of town for the freshest produce and groceries around, grab a drink at the Quiet Man Public House, or catch a show at the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater.
One of the city’s most notable features is its access to nature: the sprawling Depew Park sits on the south side of town, providing an expansive network of trails to explore the natural splendor of the region.
