Garbage
Literally the Garbage. This complex has a trash problem. Regularly the singular trash compactor is overrun with garbage spilling out into the walkway and street. Residents have taken to the habit of putting their trash on top of their cars to take it to the only dumpster at this community, and if it falls off and onto the street? Forget about it, and expect the litter to stay there for days. It’s been so bad recently that entire bags of garbage have been seen -intact- on the side of the highway on ramp leaving the facility. Until management does something to stop this kind of thing happening, I do not recommend living here. The easiest solution is obvious - get dumpsters closer to the buildings. Make sure they are close enough for residents to walk their trash, and this can stop happening. Peine Lakes, you have been told how to fix this. Do something about it.

Peine Lakes is a community of people who care about each other. The grounds are kept up. Maintenance is friendly and helpful. The office crew answers the phone and helps to make things nice around here. In times of Covid they have stepped up to keep us all safe.

I love living here! I love the area as well. Never had any issues with neighbors, and so far has been nice and quiet. Everyone seems friendly. Nikki in the office is always quick to respond to me and take care of any requests I have! Maintenance is always friendly and getting things done ASAP! Great place to call home for my family ??

I moved in in January. I had to have all my appliances replaced. The Maintenance man responded to all my request and had all new appliances and within the day or at least could tell me around when they were coming. They are all very nice men.

Apartments are nicely laid out. Chronic rodent problem not adequately addressed. Find point of entry & seal. Extremely loud neighbors upstairs wake us @ night. Problem continues even after multiple complaints & police called. Due to these factors m, I can no longer recommend Peine Lakes to anyone although the prices are probably better than anywhere else

The Staff
Just a note on your staff at the Wentzville location. Shari, Taylor, Colette and Sara are an asset to your company. I have been an resident here for over 8 (eight) years. Any time I have had an issue they take care of it right away. They contact the maintenance guys Mike or Shannon and they are right here to take care of anything that is needed. The staff is very professional and courteous. I would like to give to KUDDOS to Joe at the Wentzville location. He is the young man that cleans the premises and takes care of the dumpster. He is always going around and picking up trash. The only issue I have is the dumpster. I go up 3 to 4 times on weekends to help take of it. There is a drastic need for another dumpster. I enjoy living here!
