I’m glad to say I love it here! I’ve had terrible experiences with previous apartment management and I’ve yet to have any issues here. Anton is extremely quick with getting my concerns resolved while also being charismatic and very enjoyable to be around. I wouldn’t want any other maintenance worker helping me. Thanks, Anton! Thanks, Pelican Cove Apartments!

Lived there for two years gave us the wrong apartment we had to tell them that so we could get some money back after three months of paying higher rent! They went through about 10 different maintenance personnel! Only fix stuff with Band-Aids it took us a month of having no air-conditioning to get them to realize we needed a brand new one! Jacki and the office staff blame each other nobody takes responsibility for anything! We have moved out three months ago and finally got answers yesterday about our last bill and lo and behold they took all the charges off! I wish I could leave a zero star the place is a dump don’t believe the pictures on the website!!!!!

Air conditioning has not been fixed since I moved in a year ago. Finally fixed a year later which took contacting the better business bureau and requesting maintenance to fix It. I would not recommend moving here. Things constantly are broken, tub clogs frequently, microwave handle broke, and electricity bill is very expensive on top of rent.
when you need them to come fix your AC and it's like 80-85 degrees in your apartment you have to wait on the waiting list to get it fixed. it's not just that but then they come fix it and it works for a few days then I have to call back again and repeat the process 50 times. This is ridiculous. You think you are paying a lot for it to be worth it but it's not worth it at all. Management is bad. I haven't slept in my apartment for many days and the problem is not getting fixed. I'm moving out!!
Been in a one bedroom apartment since the winter of 2017 and for the most part, it's been good. The Good: Quiet - with the exception of an occasional neighbor, the place stays quiet. The place feels removed from the hustle and bustle from the city too. Value - the complex is fairly new and my apartment was freshly renovated. While looking at other apartment complexes in the price range, I found nothing near as updated for the price. Location - for anyone who happens to work around the airport, you can be there in under 20 minutes and never have to deal with the interstate traffic. The Bad: Maintenance - as with some of the other reviews, my experience with the maintenance is a bit all over the place. I've found the people to be friendly enough, but the problems aren't always fixed properly or in a timely manner. My A/C went out in late spring and it took over a week to get a new one installed. I thought my problems were fixed once this happened, but the installation was poor, so by the end of the summer the unit had to be recharged daily. The last time they charged it, they said it was fixed. (I know they're not going to be experts, but it's a bit ridiculous they couldn't properly fix the issue.) It was fall by the last recharge, so I didn't get a chance to test if it was indeed fixed.. (I'm not holding my breath). Location - though I also list it in the good portion, the location may be an issue for some people. Amenities in the area are average and it's a 30 minute drive in good traffic to most anywhere you want to go. Overall: I rate Pelican Cove a 7.5/10. I've found it hard to find the same type of quality in the price range in this general area. The staff tends to be helpful and friendly, but can be hard to deal with on maintenance issues. If you enjoy going out on the town, the location might not work for you, but if that's not your thing, it's nice.
They are very mean here. One of their maintenance people acted like they they were going to hit my dog with their vehicle in order to scare him and me.
I’ve been here for 2 years. It took almost a month for them to look at my stove, I also had a leak and I had to call them repeatedly because I was concerned about water damage. I’ve been told I didn’t have packages, but did, because they didn’t want to get up and look for it. The office people also gossip too much and management gives them to much control over things. I’ve lived in much smaller and inexpensive places and have been treated a lot better.
We have lived here about 6 months and we love it! The staff is super helpful and friendly. It’s a quiet neighborhood and there’s not a lot of traffic. The landscaping it always clean and kept up. Would highly recommend!
To the owners of Pelican Cove Apartments. Not sure why my first post did not post. However, if the office staff especially the manager is not replaced these people will cause more residents to move without notice, and cost the owners of the apartments a lot of funds which I am sure it not good. This complaint should not go unheard, nor unresolved. Very bad management, and maintenance.
I moved in on 7/29/16. I have put in over 10, yes over 10 maintenance request in. First my HVAC system wasn't working which it took three weeks of complaining just for them to continue to lie to me and say it's still on back order. One of the maintenance men finally came and told me the freon tube was squirting freon that's why the house was getting cold and he fixed it! Yet I mind you that was on 8/19/16 that it was fixed after being here for over 2 weeks with this same problem. Secondly I've had two major leaks in my ceilings, one in the Laundry room because someone carelessly left the water valve on that connects to the washer and the second one which just happened last night is from an unknown cause but it's so bad to the point where I can't even use the restroom with this unknown liquid falling onto me. Both of the ceilings have turned color and you can visibly see the damage. This apartment complex claims that they have a 24-hour Maintenance line but I've called this line over 10 times since 12am this morning and I couldn't leave a voicemail, it would just ring then say "Goodbye". And even when we moved in our apartment wasn't even ready but we set a move in date atleast three weeks in advance. Don't get me wrong the community is nice, the landscaping is great but for the amount that I'm paying for rent compared to the issues I have everyday seem unreal.
The large rooms and quiet surroundings make this a perfect location for me. I downsized from a house, and worried about my furniture fitting into an apartment. The landscaping is well kept. The staff is prompt to respond to any issues I have had.
I apartment is a great family, single place to live. Forest and great trees surround this wonderful place that is called Pelican Cove Apts. Great staff and wonderful maintaince team.. Wonderful place to live..
Pelican Cove has a lovely lake view. The staff is courteous and the complex is clean, safe, and well kept. The overall appearance is great!
This is my favorite apartment!! I love the space and the playground area that is available. The balcony is amazing it has great space and an outside storage area. I love that there are two pools (even though I can't swim). The office staff is very friendly and they even take the time to learn the name of their residents!!
My apartment is a 2-bedroom apartment with one bath and an extra zinc. Each room has its own closet which is good and better than most apartment in the area. The patio is small but there's a tree in front which offers a shade during the summer. The most important thing about an apartment especially for a small family is the master bedroom and the bathroom. Also, the dining area should be big enough to entertain guests on occasion. I don't really like my apartment because it's not spacious enough but if you don't have pets or children and you work a lot then it's a perfect fit. Finally, safety is the most important aspect you consider when renting an apartment. How exposed the apartment is to the public, the demographic of the people that live around you, and the type of public facilities in the area go a long way in determining how safe and friendly an apartment will be for potential renters.
