Property Ratings at PELICAN REEF - ALL UTILITIES PACKAGE
So I used to live here a few years ago and hated it BUT, I moved back here 7 months ago and I absolutely LOVE IT now!! They have new management, granite countertops, SOLAR PANNLES?!?! brand new appliances and a great maintenance team!!! The maintenance guys are amazing and so helpful, the Property manager is so sweet and understanding. I absolutely love it here AND it’s all bills paid too which is so much better than paying actual elec - my elec bill here is only $100 a month now which is in my rent but it used to be like $200+ a few years ago. I love it here & i was a lil sketched when I was first here but now I don’t wanna leave and I’m already signin my renewal:)
Over priced, people will break into your car. They will do whatever to pull one over one you. Fair warning go to any other apartments but these.
Lived here for a couple years didn't like it at first. But since new management has come in things have improved ALOT Maria and Aaron are super friendly. Plus maintenance is actually getting things done.
First of all, I am a professional educator and have lived in many different apartment complexes throughout my lifetime. I will basically make a list of all the negative things that have happened since I have lived here. And most tenants, that I here from , can't wait to leave. 1. Management treats you like you are inferior and constantly badger you about small insignificant things. 2. Management tried to break my door down early one morning while i was still asleep. 3. Management would not even listen to me when i tried to explain myself. 4. Apartments are still infested with roaches 5. I didn't even have a fridge when I moved in and then got one that was filthy. 6. My apartment flooded twice and there was no kind moisture control device that was used to get rid of the water within the walls. This causes black mold. 7. The male office helper, that says he is the manager of the property, has no people skills and should not be allowed to work in a place where you are in contact with others. An assembly line job would work best for him. 8. A window was busted out of my apartment and glass was left on my carpet and on the patio after being replaced. And the window was replaced and I had not even reported it to the front office. Plus I am being charged $50 for replacement of one window pane. Plus there are many other things that I could mention, but I have noticed some cosmetic changes which have made the place look more inviting. I just wish that management could be better listeners and understand the tenants point of view about certain issues. We are the the apartment complexes customer and have the right to be listened to and not to be shut off like we are unimportant. We are the ones that are paying for their salary and we deserve the right to be listened too and not to be shut down by some of the immature staff members. I do have to say that Maria is probably the best thing that has happened to this community. She will listen to you and will not cut you off. So, I am hoping things will get better and I will not feel that I am constantly trying to be kicked out. I work 60-70 hours a week and am hardly ever here except to sleep. I hope that management will see this and know that I am not just speaking for myself and will consider being better listeners and not micro managers.
Been here about two years, but wanted to write a review cuz it feels like a different place now in a good way. New management, fixed potholes, new exterior color (so much better omg), fixing up a bunch of things that prob only residents notice, like fixed up grills and public patios that aren't lakes now when it rains, and theres reflective strips on carport poles so you see them and don't hit them! Small things maybe but it shows me the management cares and wants the place to be run good. Much cleaner/better vibe than down the street. Nice people here, everybody gets along. The location rocks, hard to beat its real convenient to anywhere I want to go. I wish it was on the lake, but I cant afford those rents lol, so this place is less $ and seems like home, at least for now
I'm very happy here - the location is great, the property manager is responsive (and friendly), and the place is being spruced up - new paint, new parking lot, fixed lights etc. A lot of the renters have been here awhile and know and look out for one another - a nice sense of community. The rent is okay compared to others I looked at. I work out in the fitness center while doing laundry. good value for what it is.
First I have to say. Pelican Reef has got to be the best apartments I've lived in so far for multiple reasons. - Friendly and very helpful staff and management. - The apartments are very clean. - The pool here is always clean. (That's saying a lot!) - The people that live here are really friendly. - The area feels so very safe. So much so that I sometimes forget to lock the door. lol - I have yet to have a single complaint about the place. - If something goes wrong it's always fixed the same day! I could just go on and on about the amazing things these apartments do for us residents. I've lived in a good number of places with some outstanding and not so outstanding things to say about them. Pelican Reef is hands down the best so far! The grocery store is pretty close by, I can wake up and get donuts in the morning just around the corner, I enjoy the walk to the corner store around the other corner as well. I don't feel the need to carry a stick when I walk to the store at night either. And the final touch that makes me really happy to be here is the delivery! There are a decent number of places that deliver very tasty food. Pizza, sandwiches, Chinese, Thai, Italian, etc. I plan to be here for a long long long time god willing. :)
