Penn Circle

I lived in Penn Circle for 2.5 years: 1 year in a one-bedroom and 1.5 years in a 2 Bed/2 Bath. The apartments themselves are beautiful and very well laid out. The granite countertops and the 9ft ceilings feel like luxury, and with the soundproofing, we often forgot we were in an apartment. The location was incredibly safe and was close to a slew of grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, and doctors offices. 99% of what we needed was within a 5-10 minute drive (or walk). The management is incredibly attentive and well-run. On the rare occasion that I had a maintenance issue, someone would be there to fix it within a few hours (unless I asked that they come later due to my WFH hours). Moving in and out was a breeze. They allow you to park right at the entrance and will even provide a dolly to make it easier. From my first day, it amazed me how the front desk knew everyone's name, apartment number, and the status of any outstanding requests - and they were always excited to see everyone. However, the piece that stood out to me most was generosity and flexibility of the front desk. Shortly before I got married, I requested to upgrade to a larger unit when my then-current lease expired. They walked me through multiple floor plans and availability dates of larger units. Unfortunately, the one I wanted was available a few weeks before my lease expired. Although I was capable and willing to have some overlap, their policy does not allow leasees to carry multiple leases at the same time, even for a week. However, the front desk created the work-around to put only my husband on the lease, then add me later (without a fee or additional paperwork, including contacting USPS). If that were not enough, they also gave us the "referral" promotion they were running at the time because my husband was technically new to the complex. I can think of a dozen more examples of how the management went above and beyond to make Penn Circle a wonderful place to live. We will definitely miss being at such a nice complex surrounded by kind people.

I've lived at Penn Circle for 2 years and could not think of a better place to call home! The space is updated, offers great amenities, and maintenance requests are always taken care of quickly. The entire staff is very friendly and continuously create a fun and welcoming environment!

Office and maintenance staff are fantastic. Every issue is taken care of in a quick, pleasant, and professional fashion. The layout and appliances are modern and high quality. Common areas are new and well maintained. The walls between apartments are functionally soundproof although sometimes noise from outside can be intrusive.

From the property managers to the maintenance staff, everyone here is top notch. Penn Circle is a great for young professionals! We have a swimming pool for the summer time, a really nice lobby/clubhouse set up with TV’s, a nice little gym, lots of parking and choice of covered parking. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the north Indy area. 10/10

The Penn Circle staff is so welcoming, helpful, and genuine. They respond quickly, and maintenance is very timely when needed. The amenities at Penn Circle have always been nice, but they recently renovated the clubhouse and outdoor furniture, making it even more homey! It's also located near downtown Carmel, which houses many restaurants, activities, and the seasonal Saturday morning Farmer's Market. I cannot speak high enough about Penn Circle as a whole!

I had the pleasure of living here for 4 years and I don’t have a single complaint. The staff was amazing and helpful with anything that I needed. The apartment complex was very nice, well furnished and I would highly recommend!

The staff are so wonderful and friendly! The club house is so nice and clean and the Holliday party they had for us residents really made me feel connected to the other residents! I can’t say enough about this place! It’s truly a wonderful place to live!

The apartments are spacious, well designed, very good location. The amenities are comfortable, clean, and useful, make sure to visit the clubhouse, the pool and the gym. The staff is so kind, with excellent service spirit, they really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and cared. Bonus: pet friendly!

Carmel is growing fast. Nice thing about this property is it is end the west edge so not crazy here but 15 mins walking or a couple driving from anything you need or want.

Location is ideal and close to some great restaurants and shopping. Staff is friendly, helpful and maintenance team is always on top of it and super nice!

The staff and management at Penn Circle is always welcoming and knows you by name. They go above and beyond in every way. The apartment complex is well kept/maintained and any maintenance requests are fixed right away.

I have lived at Penn Circle Apartments since mid-2016 and find it a very desirable place. Their rents are very competitive with the surrounding communities. Any issues I have had with the physical nature of my apartment are handled the same day. The staff is outstanding in all regards. Recently the owners have renovated the property including not only the exterior and the apartments, but also the club house. I highly recommend it if you are looking in the Carmel area.

I have lived here for over a year now, I absolutely have loved every minute of it! Maintenance is super quick to resolve any issues, if a part needs to be ordered they are communicating with you through the entire process. Very pet friendly and your neighbors do their part to pick up after their pets! In a great area that put you close to everything you need! Don’t see myself moving anytime soon!

I lived at Penn Circle for almost four and a half years before life changes took me elsewhere. The apartment was nice and spacious and the staff was wonderful. Loved the pool and clubhouse too.

I really enjoy living here. The staff is wonderful and very nice. They care about you. The apartments are great as well as the amenities. Neighborhood is safe and beautiful too. Will highly recommend!!!

While I love our unit and the amenities here, the staff at Penn Circle is what really sets it apart from other communities in Carmel. I really feel like they care about me as an individual, and they work so hard to make this feel like home. Maintenance is so speedy and helpful, and the whole property is always very clean. Missy and her team are the best in the business, and I’m so grateful for them!

The best place I’ve lived so far as far as apartments are concerned! Management here is so kind and puts together all sorts of community building events, common areas are always super clean, and maintenance team is awesome at staying on top of any requests that come up.

When you think of Excellence, you should immediately think of Penn Circle Apartments. From the front office and the maintenance staff to the amenities, this place has it all. Being a resident for nearly 2 years now and prepping to move into my third apartment, it has easily been everything I could have hoped for and more.

I have lived here since 2020 and I still adore this complex. The location is amazing, 5 minute wak to like 20 restaurants, a Meijer, a gym, and 2 banks. The apartments are well laid out and appointed. The clubhouse is clean and inviting. There is ample parking. But the true star of the show for this property is the staff. Missy and her staff are consistently fantastic. You never wait for service if there is an issue. The maintenance team are knowledgeable, friendly, and proficient. The rest of the office staff return calls and emails quickly. I could not have picked a better location for all of the reasons above.

Penn Circle has been very good. It is conveniently located near a number of businesses and restaurants, plus it is located in a very nice area. The leasing staff is very helpful and cordial. If maintenance is requested, usually someone is available within one business day, at the latest. I would recommend looking at Penn Circle if you're new to the Carmel, IN area.

The escalating cost of renting is no secret, reaching a point where it almost feels financially daunting. This reality hit home when my company relocated me an hour away. In the pursuit of proximity to work, I explored several apartments but soon came to the realization that my current residence at Penn Circle surpasses any other I considered. Beyond the practicality of travel distance, what truly matters to me is the bang for the buck at this price point. I moved into a fully serviced and updated apartment a couple of years ago at Penn, and despite some staff changes, the pivotal figure and manager, Missy, remains. Her unparalleled personability sets her apart in this industry, and it's evident she runs a tight ship. The dedication of the staff, always prompt, courteous, and professionally committed to meeting my needs, further solidifies my decision to continue residing here. I've come to value the comfort and quality of my living space, even if it means enduring a two-hour drive, which, in the grand scheme, pales in comparison to the discomfort I might experience in a quicker commute and a less satisfying home environment.

Living at Penn Circle Apts. places me at the center of Carmel with easy access to so many businesses such as Meijer, Kroger, Market District, and Wal-Mart as well as other places of interest and entertainment such as Grand Park, multiple restaurants, Clay Terrace shopping venue, the farmer's market, the Palladium, ice rink, churches, etc. The staff is very interested in my welfare and in making this an attractive place to live, offering many activities throughout the year, and being very responsive to any request or maintenance issue. The availability of an attached garage is a super plus, especially in all kinds of weather.

These apartments are close to multiple restaurants & right behind a Meijer. It is a quiet area with things to do very close by! The staff is excellent and friendly. The maintence guys, Francisco & Tristen respond quickly to emergencies and are excellent help! Highly recommend these apartments.

The people working here and phenomenal. Missy and her office crew are always on top of things and making sure my needs are taken care of. The maintenance men, Francisco and Tristan especially, are quick, clean, and even fun to talk to. Overall, the people are great at their jobs while being personable. My only complain is one of noise. My building is poorly insulated from traffic on Old Meridian.

Most reviews are normally done by people who stay at the apartments but I wanted to share my experience. I did not have an appointment but was in the area looking at apartments and came across Penn Circle. When i walked in you can see they are currently under renovations. I was greeted by Alexis who was not only pleasant but very welcoming. She invited me back into her office and from there she collected all my information. Unfortunately for my needs she did not have any units available but did promise to keep me in the loop if anything happened to come available. She then asked if she could still show me the property. On the tour she was very knowledgeable about what’s around in Carmel and she went into detail about all the changes that are currently taken place at the property. I have to say she painted a very good picture of what the clubhouse is going to look like. On the tour several residents waved/spoke to her. The feel of the community here didn’t feel like just another property but like a family. Wish i could have called Penn Circle home. But I’m really glad that i stopped by.

I have lived here for 2 years now. In 2019 I rarely saw the staff. Everything I need to do I can online. I only had a couple maintenance related requests and did that online and they were done when I came home (my preference). 2020 Comes and you know what happened. I have things that make me more subject to bad things like the flu let alone covid. So I become house bound, not going to the store or into an office and that is still the case. The staff has bent over backwards to make sure deliveries come to me. Even brought me a food delivery when the actual delivery person could not find my apartment. I have gotten in the habit of buying from online sources for all my needs and they are delivered downstairs in the clubhouse. When they are delivered the management sends me a text - and I go down and all the packages are sorted in the clubhouse in a nice and neat order. I thought this was the delivery people until I found the staff doing it. How nice is that? I dont have to sort through everyone elses packages and just pull mine out and off I go. Great place to live - thank you

Look no further. You must live at Penn Circle. I spent 1.5 great years here and loved every minute of it. The staff is incredible. Missy is always willing to help any way she can. Maintenance is so quick to any needs or requests you have. The buildings are always clean and the complex as a whole is very quiet. Neighbors are friendly and the property is well maintained. I lived in a 2 bedroom apartment for 1 year and a 1 bedroom for 6 months. Both units were very spacious for the price you pay (which is a steal in my eyes) and very modern. I felt spoiled during my tenure. By far the nicest apartments I’ve ever lived in. Not to mention Penn has the best location. Just one Carmel roundabout off of US 31, so it’s quick to get to. Within a 10 second drive or 1 minute walk you have a large grocery store, gas station, numerous restaurants, bars, and a gym (the apartment gym is very nice too). Within a 5 minute drive are countless other amazing restaurants, a shopping mall, movie theater, and more. Ride your bike 10 minutes and you can jump on the Monon Trail or head to the water park in the summer. Hands down the greatest apartment complex in and around Carmel. Stop your apartment search here and enjoy living at Penn Circle. I sure did and wish there were more places like this to live!

The apartments are very clean and are very nice inside. They are close to many places and you can walk/bike around Carmel very easily. I would probably stay here longer if I didn't want to move closer to downtown Indy. The only things that make this a 4 out of 5 would be the very thin floors/ceilings. I can hear my neighbors feet above me fairly often. Also, this apartment complex has changed ownership a few times in the past year which is a good and a bad thing. They are trying to clean the place up and straighten up things that had gotten out of hand, but during this process some of the front office workers haven't been the best. The ones that are there now are a lot better and are improving every day. I have really enjoyed living here and feel it is a great community.

Penn Circle is in a decent location, walking distance to many restaurants, bars and market. Leasing office is friendly, costs of lease is reasonable. I like the added security of locked doors to enter the corridors.

Penn Circle was an amazing place to live prior to the new management company taking over. The grounds are no longer kept and maintenance is practically non exist. It's advertised as a "non-smoking" community but there are piles of cigarette butts on display for everyone to see on a tenants patio in the main building. If you don't mind having your privacy breached by the property manager and dodging pet feces on your daily walk you will love it here!! You will love living in the "green/eco friendly" community that now uses Styrofoam Cups for cofee!!
