Property Ratings at Peridot Palms
Awful experience. Pool is constantly closed, on the rare occasions that it's actually open, there are no chairs, and it's not secure or monitored so its filled with obvious non-residents who abuse the space. Gates are always open and the complex is never secure, people don't clean up after their dogs and leave waste on the sidewalks, management does nothing. TONS of hidden charges and fees. Management is rude and useless in resolving any issues.
I work in property management, and out of a lack of better words.. this place is trash. The apartments look nice at first, and the location is great. However the management is so unbelievably unprofessional and disrespectful. My shower handle fell off and they came back and glued it on? In which it fell off a few days later. There is dried glue all over my shower door & they have not fixed our washer and dishwasher after putting in multiple requests regarding. Office staff is NEVER working, what do they even get paid for? They are on their phone every time I was in and they are there, not to mention more than half the time I go up to the office they are closed and won’t be back until the next day. How can this management live with themselves knowing they are responsible for the quality of life living in this community for over 6 buildings of residents!! That’s just so disgusting and sad.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to our onsite team by email, text, or through your resident app if you have any outstanding questions or concerns! Kind Regards, Callie, WeCare@udr.com
Management is not only rude in responding to issues/concerns, but wholly ineffective at resolving any issues. For example, there are guidelines regarding valet trash. When i have brought concerns to them regarding the constant trash in the breezeways in violation of the policies, they responded telling me to send them photos. The pool is constantly filled with obvious non-residents. On one occasion (after the pool has been closed for weeks after glass was found in it), I observed non-residents with liter glass liquor bottles in the pool. When I emailed management to let them know my safety concerns, they responded telling me to send them photos of the people. Parking is impossible for guests on the weekends. Visitor vehicles will be towed at the owners expense in the middle of the night, even when every visitor spot is filled.

Horrible communication via leasing office. We didn't have a functioning front door for 4+ months, have had bugs / exterminators, a rat in the communal grill, pool / gym closed for weeks at a time, gate didn't work for months (then car was broken into), christmas presents were stolen from mailing room, tons of hidden fees; Each month there is a new issue, including an ongoing issue with their rent processing system which has resulted in extra costs and fees every single month. Please do not move here. Leasing staff is not helpful at all either.

We try our best to make the resident experience as enjoyable as possible when someone decides to call one of our communities home. Although there may be issues over the course of a resident’s lease, we investigate these issues thoroughly to ensure they are taken care of in a complete and professional manner. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to improving your experience! Kind Regards, Madison
This apartment is far from luxurious, the office staff is rude, I had to reach out to them to figure out how to pay my early termination fee as well as move-out instructions. They didn't send anything to me even though I was on the lease. There isn't anything good about this complex. Roaches, bugs, horrible neighbors, parking is awful, the gate is always broken, thin walls

We value your feedback and will use it as an opportunity to improve moving forward; Please don't hesitate to contact WeCare@udr.com if there is anything we can do to assist you in the future! Kind regards, Rachel
Do not move in here. For the hefty price tag it is not worth it. Find a nice place in downtown st pete or downtown tampa. Walls are not properly insulated. Which means cold winters and hot summers, and a high energy bill. PAPER THIN WALLS. All the bad reviews are 100% true. Don't be wooed by the amenities. They never work and break down every other week. Your visitors will be towed. Management and staff are unfriendly, rude, condescending, and honestly don't care about residents. Just their new prospects, which they lie about pricing and availability. Computers and printer in business center always has issues. No community or resident events. Maint. team have no idea what they are doing. Come in without asking or calling or don't arrive on appointment date.
Read this before you sign a lease with Peridot Palms! The walls are HORRIBLE! We could hear every single conversation and even a cough at night and if you live on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd floor... Good luck! There is no carpet on those floors so it is SO loud when people walk around or if they have dogs or kids running around. Also, this girl who was our neighbor was arrested and taken by police on a stretcher and screaming how she was going to kill people, etc. We looked her up with her address on white pages and found her name and found a police record for her and the front office said, “We allow people with arrest history because it doesn’t mean they are guilty.” and even AFTER I showed the front office and Peridot Palms corporate team the video that I took of our neighbor being arrested and tied down by the cops calling the cops names and kicking and screaming and saying she was going to kill people, they NEVER kicked her out. She also kept us up almost every night and we have countless emails, calls to management, and calling security and the management would still not kick her out. I would never recommend this apartment complex to anyone! I’ll give it a 2 star because the pool and sauna were nice.
My fiance and I moved here over 7 months ago and couldn't be happier. The price for the apartment is excellent and the location is very convenient too downtown Tampa, downtown St. Petersburg, and the beaches. The staff is supporter friendly and always trying to help out and solve problems. They have social events a couple times a month which are a great way to meet your neighbors. The amenities are perfect too, they didn't forget anything (except a volleyball court, hint hint). With any apartment complex, there are issues with neighbors, but the majority are friendly and courteous. Obviously this can't be paradise, but its definitely close enough!

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us at Peridot Palms. We're happy we could meet your expectations! If you ever need anything else from us, please feel free to give us a call or stop by. Have an awesome day!
I moved into PP end of last November and gotta say it's a fantastic place to live! Clean, comfortable, and friendly community! Really enjoy all the amenities. It's located in a central area to downtown Tampa and St. Pete, so it's easy to get around. They do fun gatherings and events, so you get to meet others in the community. They also have a community portal so you are always up-to-date on what's happening. Check this place out, you won't be disappointed!

Hi there, thank you so much for your positive comments about Peridot Palms! We look forward to your next visit! Take care!
I recently stayed at the guest suite of Peridot Palms. It was a beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. The beds were comfortable to sleep in. The 2 bedroom/2 bath suite was spacious and stylish. The staff was professional and gracious. The amenities offered a gorgeous club house, 2 story gym and large pool, just to name a few. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely return.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! The amenities are top notch and the staff are pleasant and polite. Amber, the leasing manager is the bomb.com! She makes you feel comfortable and welcomed. Amber is part of the reason I want to move here!
