Property Ratings at Phoenix Apartments
I've lived at Phoenix Apartments for several years, and have watched many managers come and go, but I think the parent company has finally hired a manager who know what customer service is about. This past Saturday the manager actually walked around and met some of the people who live here, and talked with us about our particular situation. You can just tell he cares about the people here, and he even lives onsite! Maybe they have finally decided to hire the right kind of person for this complex!
Absolutely the worst place to live. The only reason I lived they was it was cheap (you get what you pay for) and it was close to work. The units are old, rotten wood on the balconies, outdated fixtures. And the property manager lied about damages to the apartment when I moved out and hired a collection agency to come after me for damages beyond the security deposit and pet security deposit that they would not return. Never once had the common courtesy to respond to my dispute letters. In my opinion, the property manager is not to be trusted. Five star reviews of this complex have to be fake.
The new management company is continuing to upgrade the property. They have a new onsite manager who is very customer service oriented. They are older apartments but for their age they provide a clean, comfortable - and affordable - place to live.
I have lived at Phoenix for almost five years. When my lease is up I plan to renew again. Management is nice and they take care of any issues as quickly as they can.
The apartment is bug infested, dirty and not worth the money. The complex manager is never there when you need her and when she is there, she does nothing about complaints/concerns. there are bats everywhere, including in your apartment. i would not recommend for anyone that enjoys clean living.
This complex is right in town, has a nice pool and dog park and very efficient maintenance. The leasing agent is really nice, reasonable, and concerned about residents and the complex. Definitely recommend!
