My wife and I came to these apartments twice. clarified all questions and told about our incomes. the manager Leah assured us that everything is suitable and we made an application and paid 300 dollars. after not getting a response for three days I called Leah and asked when the response would be. she replied that they have problems with the system and need to wait a little. After two days of not receiving any information, I went there. Leah replied that the program is still not working and once again checked our documents, after that she said that we do not have enough income and we will most likely not be approved. i lost 300 dollars and 5 days.
The maintenance team is great. Mario is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
Pier 8 at the Preserve is a great community in a convenient location. It’s a shame how horrible management treats their residents when it comes to concerns and issues. Residents have approached management with a variety of concerns with feedback of hope. However, no changes have been made when it came to certain concerns. For example, the “gated community” that we live in and pay to live in do not have operable gates for the last 1 year. Management advised they have been working on the replacement of the gates for now over a year. Not having the gates operational unfortunately led to homeless entering the community, vehicle break ins and unwanted guest. Although valet trash service may sound reasonable at first, it is NOWHERE NEAR reasonable for the residents who live in the interior buildings. Foul odors entering and exiting your apartment, no trash pick up over the weekend which causes residents to pile their trash up in the exterior hallways outside of their apartment doors has led to flies, strong foul odor, palmetto roach spotting, trash was piled up in the elevators and outside the building door. Management REFUSED to assist in regards to this matter and stated over and over again when this concern was addressed that “the trash service will not change.” Management promised it would get better. Well, it has been far from better. It’s been so bad and disgusting that the residents feel abandoned when it comes to their concerns. That being said, the community itself and amenities are pretty. If management was better it would have been a five star review. Due to the horrible management it truly dropped my review from 5 stars to 2 stars. Thank you
After few weeks of living in the community, I am happy so say we are very pleased and happy to be here. Amenities and community in general is top notch. We were moving in from a different state, but the leasing office made the move really easy. Apartment over all is nice, big and with lot of natural light. Overall we love being here.
The community is great! The staff is very nice and accommodating. I love the amenities and I love the layout of my apartment. All in all it is wonderful living here!
Don’t let the amenities truck you into signing, the hours of availability are only during regular working hours, coffee machine rarely works, and the building was cheaply made.

The complex is luxurious and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help.
The whole team here are very nice especially an most importantly they are very kind they do there jobs professionally an with regard to there residents. I like living here I have nothing bad to say.the only thing would be to let would be to lock up club house an pool area @ 11pm to stop any mischievous acts that could cause problems that’s it . But my husband an I like living here an can only hope we can stay.
Terrible management. At pool, clubhouse and pavilion is full of litter, beer bottles and pot. The noise during the night in these area is very loud. When the courtesy officer is called he never ever shows up. He claims he is working when the calls come to home. Residents in buildings 1,2 and 9 have placed calls to the courtesy officer at least 29 times in the past 6 months and he has responded twice. The parking is all taken now. You must park in a fire lane or some other illegal area. The manager does nothing. Go elsewhere to live. This place is very expensive and offers nothing except noise, litter and the smell of cigarettes or pot. The security gates have been broken for over two months. The stories greystar makes up about the issue for the repair are absurd. Rent at one of the many other communities to choose from.
Greystar bought the complex in early July and it has declined since. Ants, rats on grills, broken items all over the property, and non smoking policy not enforced. We were a gated neighborhood and the gates have not closed since they purchased. They took away so many of our items Prices are too high for the current condition
The new management is really bad, Luxer room not working, Valet trash and doesn’t get picked up, they lock the coffee machine, they don’t pick up the phones they just let it ring being right next to it, they took away the daily breakfast
Dont rent here . Don’t be fooled by its looks. These are apartments aren’t luxury. Instead they are poorly made. Good luck getting any rest because the floors,walls, and windows are thin. You will hear everything- every door slam and your neighbors stomping all day and night long. You neighbors have drunken loud parties all night long. One neighbor even plays the guitar on their balcony. Pest control is non existent so expect to have crickets , roaches, spiders and ants in the apartment. The swimming pool was advertised to us as a heated pool however I wouldn’t consider 75F to be a heated pool. Don’t make the mistake we made by moving here. For the amount of money you pay in rent here, you can do so much better at another apartment.
