Property Ratings at Pier Village Apartments
After my first call with Lynn, I knew she was going to be incredible to work with, but I couldn’t even begin to imagine how incredible her & the team were. Lynn went above and beyond to make us feel like we were home before we even moved in, and was there to help and check in every step of the way. I have leased quite a few apartments, but nothing compares to the experience with Lynn and Pier Village. Thank you all for making this place Home for us!
Pier Village is my 2nd home but every time I open the door to my apartment I breath a little easier!! The apartment is comfortable and the ocean views are amazing. Lynn - the leasing agent I worked with knew exactly what I was looking for and stayed with me until the perfect apartment was available. Really love the community!
Pier Village is such a great spot: at the beach, in the heart of shopping and restaurants, friendly people and amazing leasing agents. Rose was very patient as I weighed out the pros and cons of the units I was considering. I felt like she heard me and was supportive without putting any pressure on me. Lynn was also helpful when I needed to get in and measure. It’s only been a couple of weeks, but I am loving it.
What's not to love about living at Pier Village? The apartments are comfortable and the ocean views are gorgeous. This complex comes with a friendly staff and maintenance that is usually quick to respond to issues. You can't beat the convenience of all the cute shops and the quality and variety of the dining establishments. I always feel safe and secure living here as there is a good police presence and security is good.
The leasing office at Pier Village, Elainea, truly cares about her clients. Above & beyond, thank goodness for her. Every day is a luxurious vacation living beachfront on the cleanest beaches ?? Great restaurants, shops, great people, fun activities. The management office is absolutely remarkable, one phone Call ?? and they Are on it. She runs an outstanding clean community and constantly enhancing. Calendar ?? of fun events and concerts all summer long - open to the public Last week a kite ?? festival & vendors, great restaurants, shops, ice cream shops... ICE SKATING RINK - stay tuned open to the public Family-friendly Adult - friendly maintenance around the clock PIER VILLAGE LONG BRANCH GROUNDS ARE ALWAYS MAINTAINED, plenty of security PiER VILLAGE is the PLACE TO LIVE & BE
I have been a tenant at Pier Village for several years and I have made it my HOME. Rachel,(assistant manager),has been outstanding in responding to any concerns I might have big or small over the years. The Maintenance Team has kept my home in excellent condition. CMS
It has been a dream come true living in Pier Village. My apartment is beautiful but I live on my balcony. The view is unreal. We have front row seats to everything happening. Since my daughter and I are both home bound due to our illness we have moved into the perfect home. The staff has been a God sent they are always there to assist you. They are kind, understanding and very professional. If you want to feel like you are on vacation everyday of your life Pier Village is the place to live. I have lived here for almost 4 years and hope to live here forever!!!
Pier Village is the place to live. Every step of the way is that of pleasure. Elaina from the leasing office is so kind and caring. She makes sure it’s the perfect fit. ?? Anything and everything is is always - taken care of In a timely, attentive, upbeat service to the tenants. Management gets back to you immediately and is always eager to be of service and make sure all needs are met in a manner that positively reflects why we are PROUD & PRIVILEGED to live at Pier Village. So much for everyone to do & somehow, it's beautifully maintained at all times. Thank you to everyone who makes all of this possible... Pier Village Long Branch #1
I have lived in Pier village since 2005, shortly after the development opened. I have watched it transform from a sleep, burgeoning seaside community to the premiere Jersey Shore destination it is today. Despite it's popularity, the residential community still retains a small town feel. The management team still gives individual attention to their tenants. Neighbors still know on another and stop to talk to each other. The apartments, balconies, ocean views, boardwalk, shops, restaurants and facilities are second to none. The staff are very friendly. The physical plant is constantly maintained and kept cleaned. From janitorial to landscaping to and garbage pickup, it is all done regularly and on time. Maintenance is always quick to respond to any issue. The concierge department is always ready to help with package retrieval. Best of all management is always attentive and are even proactive. Special shout-out to Rachel in management who takes real pride in her job. The value of what you get here is unmatched. As someone who has lived in the area for most of his life, it is nice to see what has become of the area.
Living in Pier Village is like being at a resort all year long. Stepping out your door you see a glorious beach and hear the peaceful sound of the waves. There are several restaurants and shops that offer a variety of menus and services. The summer provides residents and visitors with weekly concerts ,movies and fun nights. One very positive aspect of living here is that each unit has its own washer and dryer so you never have to worry about carting laundry to a basement laundry room. Also each unit controls its heat and air-conditioning. Our experiences with the management office has been excellent. Rachel and Kelly have always been attentive to our requests and have responded with courtesy and professionalism. They are a pleasure to work with and are a credit to the Westminister Corporation.
My husband and I were the 2nd folks to lease at PV 17 years ago. Building 1 wasn't even complete, yet we fell in love with the prospect of being a part of a burgeoning community. At the time, we were primarily living and working in Manhattan and spent weekends/vacations by the ocean. Now, years later, we have both recently retired and live at PV permanently. We didn't choose this for our retirement lightly. The setting (we're directly on the ocean) is spectacular. The grounds are magnificently groomed with seasonal blossoms and trees and makes one feel like you're in a park! However, PV is more than beauty. Our friends here are wonderful, warm, intelligent, international people. There are book clubs and walking groups, etc. Great effort has been made to form a tight community and it's working! PV is also children and pet friendly and the management has even thought to pepper the grounds with baggies and receptacles for the dog owners pleasure! We have also become friendly with the staff and maintenance workers, all of whom are knowledgable and extremely accommodating. Holidays are celebrated and there are biweekly concerts, Sunday Fun Day (for kids), and outdoor movies during the summer. And to top things off, we're sitting right on top of a variety of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance! Our grandchildren are so eager to visit. What could be better? We're here for the (our) duration. Since we are beachfront all windows and siding are being replaced. This has taken longer than we would prefer, but the workers were friendly, efficient and with a great work ethic. Every day they carefully cleaned up the signs of their work. The office is consistently helpful and pleasant. We read some of the earlier negative reviews and we do not agree with complaints about noise. During the summer there is some noise when restaurants are letting out, but we consider this to be expected, and is a reasonable trade off for the convenience of the excellent restaurants that enhance the Pier Village experience. It is our pleasure to give Pier Village our highest recommendation for any age tenant! Francee and Gardner
Great beach side location and that's it. Services, maintenance, management and security are all extremely lax. Only living there for the last year, I heard from longer term residents that this was not always the case in the past. Management changed in April 2020 and the attitude has shifted greatly. Renter beware! Be sure to lock in a rent guarantee if you are looking for multi year living. That is if you can stomach the lack of services.
I’ve never lived in an apartment before and really didn’t know what to expect. Elaina , from the leasing office, was patient and informative from start to finish. She was available for all my questions and went above and beyond to ensure my move in was stress free. Between Elaina and Lynne this was the best move I’ve ever made. Not to mention the Pier Village community is amazing! From the views to the culture it’s truly a great place to live. Excited about my new journey by the sea!
Unfortunately all the apartments facing outside that have nice views also have uncontrollable crowd noise, which gets much worse at night. One of the bars on the property is open until 2am and attracts a very rough crowd on their outdoor patio, which spills into the parking lot. All night you will hear yelling and screaming, music pounding, bottles breaking, and fighting. You will not sleep. People move out of here all the time for this reason.
Beautiful apartments and leasing with an unbeatable location. The renting and moving experience was great. We lived in the 1 Chelsea building for multiple years. We moved into the 2 Chelsea building 11/2/2020. Maintenance and concierge are super friendly and helpful. Pier Village is an almost perfect place except we’ve lived the building fire alarm has gone off 5 times in a little over the 2 months we’ve been here. Today’s was at 5:30am. The other 4 times were in the evening. With our one year old daughter it’s exhausting because it’s always when she’s asleep and when it’s dark and cold out. We don’t leave the building anymore when the alarm goes off (barely anyone does). I hope though that if there really is a fire that everyone gets out in time. I have a relatively low balcony though so I figure I can recognize the fire and get out in time. I think I would also do my best to yell and try to indicate it’s a real fire if possible to get people out. We lived in the 1 Chelsea building for multiple years and it was great (a few fire alarms in the year maybe but nothing out of the ordinary for an apartment building). Honestly though, the 13 days out if every two weeks where there is no alarm, it’s wonderful. Being woken up at 5:30am on a Saturday by a crazy loud fire alarm... not so much. Something to consider if looking specifically at 2 Chelsea. I imagine the other buildings don’t have as many fire alarms. Note: I started emailing management with the 3rd one but haven’t gotten responses yet. Not sure if it’s a system issue, someone pulling it, or someone smoking in a stairwell.
We moved in 3 months ago. It’s been great. The property is maintained really well. Steps from the beach, shops and restaurants. Lynn made the leasing process easy. Promised repairs were all done as before we moved in.
The leasing experience was super easy and the staff has been very accommodating.
Excellent lifestyle. At the beach convenient to public transportation. Lived there for 8 years enjoyed it.
Great View Great location...shopping and beach at your front door. Nichole in leasing is awesome to work with. Only negative for units facing the ocean people can get loud at night.
We loved our time living at Pier Village! We lived in a one bedroom apartment and then moved to a two bedroom - both had great view of the ocean and we’re super affordable. Property itself very well kept and always decorated by season with fun activities for all. The leasing office (in particular Nicole!), maintence, concierge and staff were all so friendly, helpful and always quick to respond. Great complex for those who can work remote and enjoy all the perks of living at the beach without any of the hassle!
First I have to say how great Lynn is. She loves working with the residence and the residents. She made me feel like a member of the community before I even move in. Second- the apartments are great! Clean, large, modern with washer and dryer. You can’t get a better location - no need to drive to cover the basics. And when you do, parking is easy. (Guests can easily park for $10 nearby). The team is great and I’m so glad I chose to be here.
As someone who also works in the property management industry, I have to say I was blown away with the level of customer service from Lynn. Lynn was extremely helpful, friendly and honest. Throughout our tour she greeted residents by their names and you can tell she truly enjoys her job. Lynn took me to see multiple units and was able to point out the different options regarding upgrades, price points and floor plans. I definitely recommend anyone to come take a tour and see the property for yourself before you judge it based on a few negative reviews.
Go ahead and pay a pretty hefty rent here to live among college students and their partygoing friends! Management does not freely disclose the fact that a huge portion of their units are reserved for Monmouth University students. Student who will smoke cigarettes and pot that will waft through the hallways and into your apartment. Students who will wander in and out of their apartment windows to hang out on the rooftop under your window until 3am and drink, blast music and tell you to do some pretty colorful things to yourself when you ask them to quiet down. Students who will park in your reserved spot for days, or even just in the middle of the outdoor parking lot wherever and whenever they feel like it. Students whose friends will hang out drunk in the lobbys at 4am to charge their phones or who will follow you through the doors without having a FOB to get in. Don't bother complaining to management, they'll tell you it's none of your business what their other tenants do. Avoid any apartments facing the surface lot in building 1, as your living room will smell like fried chinese food at any given time. I would suggest asking if your upstairs neighbors have a dog as the floors are paper thin and you WILL hear it running back and forth in the middle of the night, just like you will hear your considerate upstairs neighbors vacuuming at 5am or slamming their front door in the middle of the night. NOBODY picks up after their pets, which is absolutely disgusting. Keep looking for another rental, this place is very misleading and not worth the frustration.
Worst worst worst place to live in. i would give -1 star to this place. Don’t be fooled by images and rent offers they use for marketing. Management only cares about big fat monthly deposits in the name of rent. Anyone can access the building roof even at mid night and run around to make noise. if you call the office to complain, you will be asked to call 911 as they don't want to do anything on their own. As a result, tenants residing on the top floor have to suffer. ceilings would crack and leak water during rain. If you call maintenance or management, they won’t take it seriously. management is non existent when it comes to fixing issues. They will do nothing about it for months nor you’ll be compensated for the damages you suffer.
NOT resident friendly. Very hard to navigate on a daily basis with the crowd of the public, especially during the summer, for example: Could not have access to get into Pier Village today due to the public reaching full capacity. Entry and Exits were closed. Therefore I could not get into the apartment complex where I live. Very overpriced. Overall, not accommodating to the local people who live here throughout the entire year. Also, conceirge is never available or helpful when picking up personal packages. I waited over a week to receive a package that contained time sensitive valuable information that I needed for work. Highly would not recommend signing an annual lease.
At first it will seem as if you're living in a great area with plenty to do and things to see. But after a while things get old real fast and you're stuck paying an arm and a leg for everything. They will increase your rent once the summer comes and charge you extra for parking...I guess they can just up the price of living whenever they please. Also the walls are paper thin. You can hear everyone around you and if your tv is even remotely loud enough for you to hear it they will call the cops. Absolute joke!! Not worth the stress and aggrevastion with neighbors. Don't waste your money here. You can find better for less! P.s. Good luck having friends over in the summer..they will get a ticket as they need to move there car every 2 hours, parking is scarce and cops are on patrol 24/7. Avoid the nightmare. You have been warned.
Pier Village is beautiful. It is right on the beach! So much to do. Great places to eat, drink and shop. Love the boardwalk! The apartments are very nice and surprisingly quiet. I had never lived in a 5 story apartment building so I was concerned about the noise but I rarely heard any of my neighbors.
I moved to NJ from PA about six years ago. I was moving by myself and wanted to find the perfect place to start my new life. I stumbled across Pier Village and was instantly amazed by how beautiful the complex was. If you want to walk to the beach, go shopping, or have a nice out on the town, you can do so just by going downstairs from your apartment. I knew this was going to be my new home. I feel safe, my place is spectacular, and it's unlike any other apartment with the amenities. It's been six years and I haven't left!
I have been living here for a year and I must say its been great. Yes the summers are overwhelmed with tourists however management has done a great job with adding gates to the parking garages and do a good job maintaining the buildings. With new management they have really improved things and added more amenities. Pet friendly and ocean view for just under 1800 a month. Hope this helps.
