Property Ratings at Oak Lane Apartments
The new staff is actually good. I don't know who was over it before I got there in June 2022. The maintenance crew gets things done. I'm just waiting for their gym to be done. Now cons include the parking lot pavement or lack of it in some spots, the cheap paint jobs in the apartments, no screens on the windows, no ceiling fans, the steps inside the apartments all need to be replaced, and the switches in some of the apartments have no use or just there for declaration l.

Thanks for your review! Our fitness center is up and running and we have repaired most of the items mentioned above.
TIA AND ERRON are the best ones they have had when the budget permits repairs are doing in a timely fashion. RESPECT goes a very long way. Lived in 5 units since it was Classic Heights you cant beat the space and the different floor plans for the price. It has its issues but it has been there since 1975 so its due for some problems. If you on a budget , want a spacious unit with various floor plans, and convient to the bus route Go For It. Nothing PERFECT but i will say latter and blum handle me respectfully and resolved my move in a professional timely fashion. Apartments in worse areas dont offer cover parking , different floor plans and large living area. The choice is yours but i just finally left less than year ago its not the suburbs but they try to make it as comfortable as possible they even have police patrol at least when i was last there. So for the years i have lived there give it 4 stars they work with you when you treat them with respect just remember DONT GET IN ERRON FACE you will be just fine no one likes to be disrespected kill him with kindness.
These apartments are very nasty and roach infested , they don’t want to fix anything around here , can never get in contact with management ... I wish I never moved here ?? These apartments are horrible I wish I could report them to somebody , I wouldn’t recommend anybody to move here
These apartments are horrible. They have mold everywhere ceilings are always caving in. The pipes are always leaking they are roach infested. They don't always get pest control to spray. Don't believe the lie in these pictures.
All of this information in the pictures are lies these apartments don’t look nothing like this. The air doesn’t work most of the time, electrical problems, it’s hard to get a work order completed, hey don’t answer the phone in the office and when you get the to talk with someone the attitudes are so bad. It’s extremely dark there at night time. There is no pest control. They only clean up in the front by the office the rest of the complex always has paper everywhere. Parking is ridiculous and there is also a lot of drug activity. There in no one patrolling this area the police don’t even come through here. When the rental payments changed over from paying in the office to online we weren’t properly notified there was just a note on the office door then when trying to inquire about how it works the very unprofessional staff replied read the door....refused to explain. This place is opposite of what is in the advertisement there is not one apartment that looks like any of those pictures....please don’t be fooled.
I've been here for over 6 months, and its the worst thing I could have done. the apartments are not taken care of, pest running around; rats, roaches, cats, dogs, other bugs. frequent air problems, parking problems, and loud neighbors all times of the night and early mornings.
can never get a hold of management.. love putting notes on the door but don't answer the phone didn't take the 250 off my rent... very unprofessional
