Property Ratings at Pine Hills Apartments
I have been with this apartment company for years and they never fail to disappoint. I would be interested to see the apartment of the person who wrote the review "My Sanctuary" because that has NOT been my experience. Overall, this is a reasonable place to live. It is close to many things (price chopper, cvs, college or st. Rose) and conveniently placed. The neighborhood is fine. When you get down to it, this place is teeming with vermin. Mice, bugs, you name it. I have seen it all. The bedrooms are way too small to actually fit a bed into so you'll have to use your living room as a bedroom. In the winter it gets SO cold that you need a space heater, which will sky rocket your energy costs. In the summer it's so hot and there is no AC so hopefully you like having the windows open. Also to be clear: THERE IS NO ELEVATOR. Just a shaft with nothing inside. That is a lie.Last but certainly not least - the laundry situation. There is no secure way of doing your laundry. I have had things stolen. There are ways that can be prevented, but will they make upgrades? No.
My apartment is my sanctuary. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment with my fiance and dog. I have an amazing walk in closet with beautiful French doors. The best part is it is affordable. Finding apartments that allow dogs can be difficult but my landlord loves my dog and I love having my dog in my apartment. There is tons of room for him to play and lounge around. My apartment is close to a bus line and its so easy to get around down here. I also have a beautiful view for only living on the 1st floor of a five floor building. My building is old and has been around since the early 1900's so its a living piece of history. In conclusion I wouldn't want to live any other place than this. Quiet and safe it is a great neighborhood and great place to live
