Property Ratings at Pine Ridge Apartments
Maintence is very fast, and you get alot of bang for your buck while living here. Other places around the area are more expensive. My problems with the apartments are the floor is very thin and I can hear my downstairs neighboor all time. Yes i live above him. It gets very annoying very easily. Also the windows are hard to open. Other than that, one of the best places for your bang for your buck
If I could have taken this property with me to Philly i would have. I was absolutely in love with this apartment and the management, especially my leasing agent Lizbeth?. She made the process of moving in and out so simple and explained every step that was to come. I was in a one bedroom apartment with a balcony and all utilities were included as advertised except electric which is also stated. The most I ever spent on electric was $45 and that was when I had the air conditioning running every second. It's a spacious apartment with a large living room and bedroom. The renovated bathroom was gorgeous (I miss it the most ).The only cons would be that the kitchen is tighter than my last place and the windows are long and skinny. I was closer to the wooded area so little bugs here and there are expected. I never had an issue with any type of infestation and if I did see any little thing (I'm a worry wart lol) Lizbeth had the maintenance men out to me literally the next day. And as long as you leave the apartment the way you received(no holes or damages or stained carpets), pay your rent, and return the keys given to you, you receive your full security deposit back, minus $25 to send it to tour forwarding address certified mailing (better safe then sorry). I can't wait until this company expands into having rentals in Philadelphia (preferably the north east region) because this is how renting should be, peaceful and easy.
Property Manager at Pine Ridge Apartments, Responded To This Review
It has been an absolute pleasure to have you be part of the Pine Ridge Family. We truly appreciate your kind words and acknowledgement of our dedicated employees. We wish you well in all your future endeavors.
If you're someone who tends to stay to themselves, then this place ain't too bad. In the years I've lived here we have had to call maintenance only about 4 times. The maintenance men are extremely sweet and helpful. When we moved in our dishwasher was broken, but they installed a new one shorty after we moved in. The leasing agent here, Andrea, is also very nice. Now I could see her being tough to deal with if you get on her bad side, but I was a quiet tenant and never had issues with her. When times were tough, she was very helpful with options and solutions for me. As far as the actual apartment goes, I'm easy to please so it's not too bad. The windows are tall and thin and a little awkward. Mine are pretty drafty in the winter, but heat is included in the rent so I just cranked that up. I'm on the second floor and I would say the main thing that annoys me is the creaky floors. I know our downstairs neighbor hears our every move causing me to play a 'the floor is lava' type of tiptoe game at night to not disturb the neighbors below. The closets are sliding doors on tracks that tend to get stuck on us, so we end up leaving most closet doors open or taking them down to put up curtains. I find that there is an adequate amount of storage in both the kitchen and bedrooms which is nice. The kitchen is on the small side, it's one of those hallway kitchens, so no buddy cooking going on in there. There is also limited counter space in the kitchen, but if your an organizer like I try to be, it's manageable. The living room space is a decent size, I have had two couches and a chair in there at once and it was comfortable. I live in a unit with a fireplace. If you can, opt for the balcony unless you really love fireplaces. You have a fire (we had about 3 in our time living here) and it heats up the whole apartment to really hot, really quickly. I really wish I would have opted for a balcony unit.... The bedroom is a decent size. With a queen size bed, dresser, two nightstands, and an armoire, it's tight, but manageable. I don't see a king as bed fitting comfortably with furniture, but who knows. No assigned parking can be a bummer, especially in the winter when you shovel snow out of a spot... All in all, Pine Ridge is a decent place with solid property management that stay out of your business if you pay your rent and don't cause trouble. It's a great starter apartment for sure. Hope this was helpful!
