About Pine Ridge Apartments
Pine Ridge Apartments is a recent development of Charles Williams REIC. This community offers studio apartments to people who are homeless and/or potentially homeless, disabled and/or handicapped. Construction was completed in late spring of 2009 and the first resident moved in the middle of June 2009. The gated facility offers a large common area for community meetings and special functions, community kitchen for special classes and events, laundry room featuring standard and accessible machines, and an exercise room complete with a large TV for viewing while working out. The building is a non-smoking environment but residents may enjoy the expansive and well landscaped courtyard complete with gazebo, rocking chairs, and ceiling fans as an additional common area designed for relaxation and visiting.Individual units are furnished and move-in ready, individual HV/ac and water heater units in each apartment give residents control of their utility usage. Kitchens offer a full-size refrigerator, stovetop, and microwave oven; smoke detectors and ceiling fans are also furnished. While Pine Ridge offers a community atmosphere each resident is allowed their own private space within their individual studio apartment. Resident applications for Pine Ridge are processed thru the Department of Community Affairs, Charles Williams REIC and a resident service provider. Highland Rivers Center, Community Care and Disability Link are just a few of the service providers involved with the everyday living of our residents. Pine Ridge Apartments operates from a waiting list and rents are income based.
