Far North Columbia, as its name suggests, is an area north of Downtown Columbia spanning to the east of the Broad River. Most of the neighborhood is wooded, but the portion of town closest to Downtown Columbia is filled with commercial and residential development, especially along Interstate 20 and Highway 215. This area of town is also home to Columbia International University. The rest of Far North Columbia consists of residential avenues with a variety of affordable to moderately priced apartments for rent. Just outside of the town’s limits sits an abundance of shopping centers like Dutch Square Center, Bush River Village, and Ashland Park Shopping Center. Outdoor recreation abounds inside and just outside of Far North Columbia thanks to the river and several golf courses.

Property Ratings at Pine Tree
Only thing about this place is the rent is affordable. Other than that this is the worse place to stay. They never come to fix anything my ceiling has been leaking for 6 months among other things that need to be fixed!!! Please do not move here!!!!!
When I first moved into my apartment I noticed there was a lot of things that needed repaired and replaced also I notify the property manager of the things and she put in an work order it took 2 months to get the work done inside my apartment I felt that my apartment is falling apart there was water leaking from the ceiling in the bathroom and from the ceiling in the kitchen and mold in the bathroom also underneath the kitchen sink.
While apartment hunting I was getting alot of negative feedback about Hillandale Apartments, but to my surprise it is nothing like I was told. I was so excited about moving into a very affordable place that is so spacious and has a walk-in closet! I often sit outside and take in the scenery, where the property stays well groomed and is very quiet. The only thing I do not like is having to pull those stairs, but that's okay. I recommend Hillandale to anyone that is looking for a home and not just a place to live.
