Property Ratings at PINEBROOK APTS
If you like the retirement home feel and enjoy getting ignored and lied to by your leasing office with delays on every email and question you ask them. This is the place for you! In all seriousness, this is the WORST apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. To start things off, the first day we went to tour the apartments, the leasing agent was getting yelled at by a resident because the leasing manager, Claudia, hadn’t responded to her email request in over 2 weeks (this is a very common thing). We should’ve taken that as a red flag, but we know some residents can be difficult. We experienced this for ourselves soon enough. Claudia and Zaid, the leasing manager and agent, take 1-3 weeks to respond to EVERY question and inquiry via email. They never answer the leasing office phone. We were also told extra parking was available during our tour prior to submitting an application. The day after we submitted the application and paid the applicable fees, the leasing agent said that no extra parking spaces were available. We let it go, and followed up 2-3 times with the office to see if anything opened since we were put on a “waiting list”. A year later, No spaces opened up, and the last two emails for our follow up that were sent were ignored completely by Claudia and Zaid. We just gave up at that point. In addition, we were told during our tour that the apartments were built sturdy and it felt like “your neighbors weren’t even there”. WRONG. You can hear every little pin drop in someone else’s apartment. The floors are built so poorly that when you walk around it shakes the unit. We even got a noise complaint during holiday time when we had family over. It’s a HOLIDAY! Family will be gathering during those times. The office didn’t even call or email us to give us a verbal warning or to even get our side of the story when the neighbor who we know complained came out of his unit and screamed at my 7-year old nephew when we were walking down the stairs. They just gave us a Written Warning the next day. They really value “community”. Poor leasing office manager and agent, they really need to brush Claudia and Zaid up on people skills because they are losing residents. 4 other residents moved around the same time we did for these similar reasons! On top of all that, there’s no gym. The property management company has a lot of work to do with this leasing office team. Im glad to be done and gone with this place! Stay away!

I am really happy with my interaction with the manager - Zaid. I will have to move to the Pinebrook Apartment in Apr'2023 but even before moving, I must say the kind of support & guidance I got from Zaid is awesome. I wish his continued support throughout my stay with Pinebrook Apartment.

Hi there, Thank you for the kind words and thoughtful review! Zaid is a shining star on our team and we are so happy to have you as a resident here! Sincerely, Claudia Moran, Community Manager
Management is new and started making a lot of much needed changes to the apartments! They are remodeling apartments, they repaved and renumbered the parking lot and they even got us new mailboxes! They are bringing this property together and I truly appreciate them all! Keep up the great work guys!
I have been living at Pinebrook for almost two weeks now and have absolutely loved it. It is a quiet community that consists of small families, young couples in their 20-30's, and commuters. I currently live in one of the newer renovated units and was shocked by not only how gorgeous the unit was, but how CLEAN it was upon moving in. One of the property managers, Evangeline, was also a joy to work with. She is kind, patient, and extremely friendly. Something that I was particularly grateful for was that she was not pushy during my tour (something other property manager's should really take note on). So far, I am in love with this community :)
They are remodeling their old apartments, so they can rent the apartments you see in the pictures. Meaning that you can move to a new apartment, and then they start a construction next door. The apartments walls are thin, so the construction noise can be unbearable for some people. Also, the dust caused by the construction can affect people with allergies. Please take my advice in consideration when moving here.
I am surprised too see any negative reviews of the PineBrook Apartments. My experience at PineBrook has been always great, have never lived in an apartment complex that gave me so much comfort and peace of mind. Because of that last SIX (6) years I am living here. When I moved in Fremont in 2014 and needed a place close to American High School for my son. I looked at every apartment in Fremont close to American High and PineBrook was by far the best choice. They have the best pricing, floor plans, sq. footage., staff, and parking. The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs and are quick to attend to any problems that arise. Especially LITA (Manager) and Evangeline are awesome, very helpful and they treat us like a family. The pool in the summer time is by far my favorite. Lucky California, CVS, Gas Station, School, Bus Stop just in front of the Apartment, like living on a resort right in the heart of Fremont. We live here and could not feel safer anywhere else....a beautiful neighborhood with children parks.
Apartments are newly remodeled, but the management team is awful in how they treat people who live at the complex. Laundry units close early, so if you work late, you won't be able to do laundry. Plus, you'll have to pay additional to wash laundry. Save yourself a headache and don't move here
I Forgive this Place and the horrible experience I’ve had living at Pinebrook Apartments. Fremont CA. Glad I Left..
Fitness center which they are showing in the photos is pathetic .
My boyfriend and I moved to Fremont, CA from Orlando, FL due to a job offer in Foster City. Unfortunately we had little time to prepare and move. We didn't even have time to come to California to hunt for a apartment. It was a very stressful time. First, cost of living was a big shocker for us and looked on the map here on Apartments.com and picked apartments we could afford (scary not knowing what you can get). I called so many apartments and left messages. Only got a response from like 5 people and Lita at Pinebrook was literally the only one that followed through with emailing me information and calling me back in a timely manner. I explained our situation to her and she was INCREDIBLY helpful and understanding. She was very honest with us about the apartment and helped us every step of the way. Keep in mind we still never saw the apartment in person, only through the photos on here. We really didn't know what to expect. Well we got here and can I say an angel was looking out for us. The apartment is GREAT even bigger then we pictured in our heads. Sure a washer and dryer would be great in the apartment but it's right down the steps and like 10 feet away. The neighborhood is safe, grocery store right across the street that I just walk to. Very close to the freeway and just really convenient to everything including the Bart. I highly recommend this place.
Thanks God, I left out. Maintenance people are having washer and dryer in apartment but you as a tenant will deal with broken washer and dryers out there for public. And you have to pay way higher Trash and water charges than other communities in the area. Do not think they are charging less rent, they know how to get money out from your pocket.

Pinebrook Apartments does not have washers and dryers in the unit.
maintenance of these apartments is terrible on the outside looks good for the people who are inside have live up to ten years. live folders will not change all the broken departments mg is not suitable to talk to her just what she says. one more thing you are cutting off water and trash the ridiculous amount for 31 days of use are between 150 till 250 for a month please read this well so do not be fooled
I've lived in Fremont for most of my life (moved from FL when I was 7), and I just recently moved in to Pinebrook from a house in Glenmoor. It might not look as fresh as some of the more recently-built places off Stevenson or Mowry, but they also cost quite a bit more. If you're looking for a quiet and comfortable place at a good price, this might be the one. For about $500/mo less than the other apartments I was looking at, I still got a quiet, gated community, with a covered parking space, a place to wash my car, several options for laundry, a balcony, and they replaced several of the appliances right before I started moving in. There's a Starbucks, gym, two gas stations, and a Lucky's and Rite Aid all across the street, and the apartment is a couple blocks away from 880. Very convenient when you commute and work variable hours. Oh and the staff has been great so far. Lita at the front office was very friendly and walked me through the entire process in detail. She still says hi every time I go check the mail, which is right by her office. The maintenance guy (I forget his name) was polite and helpful even when I paged him at 9:30pm wondering why the stove top was warm to the touch (short answer: because there's a pilot light there... obviously I've always had electric burners haha) The other tenants are quiet and respectful; haven't heard any loud music or fighting or anything that I've seen at past apartments, and it seems like it will stay that way. So to end my long-winded review, I'm glad I picked Pinebrook. Haven't really found anything negative to say so far, and if I do, I'll update this review. I DO wish they would take pets, but to be fair, it does say that on the website and the ad I saw before moving in. But overall it seems like this is a great place to be while I save for a house (could be a while in this area). Hope my review was helpful!
-I have been staying here for 10 months now and I like this community and staff. - Good location, close to all the shops that you need to acess - Easy access to transport - There are two Elementary schools in a walk able distance and both have 900 + API rating. -The staff is good and always respond on time. - Enough parking space and car wash area - Swimming pool is maintained very well this is very fun for kids in summer.
I am very satisfied with these apartments! When I first came to Pinebrook with my wife she loved it and i wanted to keep looking. it was our first stop on a list of homes. I liked it but the no dog policy was an issue for me. I looked at other places and wasn't happy with them. Pinebrook was the fairest in price and nicest. We moved into a 1 bedroom and loved it! then it was time for us to get a bigger place. I need a 2 bedroom I went and talked with Lita (manager) and she had said she had 2 available, upstairs and downstairs. She was very helpful in helping us and answering any questions we had! In all I have to give this place 5 stars!! Its quiet and staff is WONDERFUL!! love this place. Only 3 cons to the apartments. First: you have 1 parking stall the rest are first come first serve. Second: Its an older complex and could use an update. Third: No dog policy. Really a bummer to a dog lover. Other than that its GREAT!!
