Please DON'T live here!!! I moved here on a desperate situation. Navy veteran and i was using a veteran program to house me and my 3 daughters (8, 2 and 6 months). I was NEVER given the opportunity to do a walk through in fact the landlord told me that the "leasing agent" doesn't like to leave the office unattended to do a walk through. So i had to sign my lease to get my keys and do a walk through on my own. Upon finally moving all my stuff in and unpacking i found a huge are of BLACK mold covering the utility closet where the ventilation system is and the water heater. The water heater was rusted and the pipes not in code regulations and the filter looked like it hadn't been changed in years!!! base boards had obvious water damage and needed to be replaced. My fridge is rusted with holes in it mold on it and leaking some type of fluid and doesn't completely close. They came out the next day and "repaired" the area of mold which was only throwing some bleach on it and painting over it (which f you know anything about black mold it needs to be abated and walling be replaced and checked to make sure all areas of the mold are completely removed. if not it will continue to grow) He replaced my water heater and put some new sealing on the fridge (which didn't rectify the issues, the fridge needed to be completely replaced.) The case manager from the program i was using came and we (my case manager, property manager, and myself) had a sit down. She was very unprofessional rude and cut me off every time i tried to say ANYTHING. I asked for there to be an inspector to come out and treat the mold she told me it wasn't black mold and nothing was wrong and she wasnt paying for an inspector. i asked for the fridge to be replaced and she said the mold isnt inside the fridge and it works so im not replacing it. so i told her in that case than i would just like to move and receive my full refund of payments from the program so i can be rehoused through them. she said she wasnt doing that either. Please take a look at the pictures!
DO NOT MOVE OUT HERE!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! Neighbors all in your business. Everytime you turn around a fight breaks out. The police is out here. Breakins all the time. Abandoned apartment buildings out here! Manager dont fix nothing. Broken down air conditioners. We living here without air. Only one or two maintanence man. Screen for windows still on back order. Holes in our roofs, electrical wiring in the walls are going out. Some rooms have no electric. Mail boxes missing doors. Mail not secure. Manager on drugs, dont help no one, she kicks people out for wanting repairs. Both of my friends have been kicked out on some bull when this place aint even legit like that. I wish I could give this place zero stars!!! Giant cockroaches out here. Im from Virginia and we call them cockroaches! Not waterbugs! Swimming pool abandoned, dirty, nasty and collecting waste and dead animals that drowned in it. Roaches! Everybody got roaches and ants! Disgusting! Found one crawling in my ear! Yuck! Cant even grill or have company in front of my apartment with 90% of the bull going on out here. Im done! Not renewing my lease at all this year! Manager and secretary always got an attitude.
This is a nice family friendly community. Somewhere you would loved to call home. it's minutes away from the interstate, entertainment, restaurants, and great for grocery shopping.
