Tucson is a lively oasis in Arizona’s Sonoran Desert, surrounded by numerous mountain ranges. The city of Tucson is as scenic as it gets, seeing as it’s surrounded by beautiful nature preserves and mountainous terrain, including Saguaro National Park, Mount Lemmon, and Tucson Mountain Park – making it an excellent place for renters who love mountain biking, hiking, camping, and rock climbing.
The University of Arizona is just a few blocks from Downtown Tucson, and the more than 40,000 students enrolled at the university contribute to the city’s eclectic arts, entertainment, and nightlife scenes. Downtown Tucson has undergone major renovations since the early 2000s, blossoming into a thriving hub of activity for residents and visitors alike.
The Davis-Monthan Air Force Base lies near the center of the city, and is one of Tucson’s biggest employers for armed service personnel and civilians alike.

Property Ratings at Pinnacle Heights
We came by for a tour today and really liked the apartment and community. Cassandra was very friendly and helpful and answered all of our questions. The setting is beautiful and the landscaping very pretty.
When I first moved to PH, MG Properties was managing the complex. Now, under Scotia Management, you will notice an extreme lack of customer service and care for tenants. The apartments themselves aren't worth the exorbitant rent they're charging. The apartments are poorly insulated and cost a fortune in AC/Heating bills. You can feel cold wind coming through the cracks in the winter and heat coming through the cracks in the summer. The appliances themselves are outdated and falling apart. The water pressure is poor for how expensive our shared bills tend to be. The renovations that Scotia is boasting are nothing more than different linoleum and horizontal blinds. The property itself lacks amenities. The workout room has a small assortment of outdated equipment, the pools aren't well-maintained, and the clubhouse offers very little. That's literally it - no game room, measly choice of DVD rentals, and tea during the hours the office is open. The office offers limited hours for those who work M-F. Tenants are moving out in droves because of the hike in prices, the fact that we are unable to remain in our apartments (forcing us into the "renovated" ones), and the negligent customer service provided here. You'll notice new signs offering rewards to residents who refer new tenants because of how many empty apartments there are. The gym is almost always unoccupied because everyone is choosing (rightfully) to get more for their money. For the price that Scotia is asking, buy/rent a house. Your mortgage will be less expensive than renting an apartment here and you won't have to deal with the hassle of Scotia representatives.
Property Manager at Pinnacle Heights, Responded To This Review
It is disheartening to hear that your experience has been less than positive. That said, we appreciate your feedback, as our team is always looking for opportunities to make our community an even better place to call home. The comfort of our residents is our top priority, and should any issues arise, we strive to resolve them promptly and efficiently. We would like the chance to discuss your concerns in person, so please stop by our leasing office. Thank you.
Scotia group management took over just before the election. They sent out an email telling us how to vote. They lost their very best rental agent. Also not renewing leases of tenants that have been here for years, jacking the rents hundreds of dollars a month. Not friendly. Their bottom line is profits. The do not care about their tenants. It was a wonderful place to live. Scotia group has made it an awful place to live.
Bad water pressure, terrible management, run down slum like conditions. Luxury? Ha!!
I live in rucson since 1999 and moved few times but this is one of the best places I have lived so far ! What a beautiful place and View ! Marty was my leasing agent and from the beginning he made me feel so good about this place. I got 3 bedroom upgrade with new appliances and flooring and when I walked in I was so impressed. Inside and outside is so clean , maintenance are so great and take care of anything that has to be fixed. Management is nice and friendly as well as leasing office staff especially Marty he is the best ! I highly recommend this place ! Sabino canyon is down the street and you can enjoy beautiful walk . Neighbors are nice and friendly as well some of the sheriffs live here so make me feel even safer .
Pinnacle Heights apartments is a great place to call home. The views are breathtaking, the landscaping is beautifully maintained, the neighbors are friendly and peaceful and the rates are very fair. I love my spacious 3 BR, 2 BA unit and the amenities like the 2 gorgeous pools, gym, covered parking, etc, just make it all the better. The staff, however, are who really make the difference. Marty, Monica, Jeff, and everyone here at Pinnacle Heights truly make you feel like part of the family. Maintenance requests are quickly and professionally resolved and there are regular community events like pool parties and spaghetti dinners. I highly recommend Pinnacle Heights apartments. I couldn't imagine wanting anything more in an apartment.
I currently live at Pinnacle Heights and there are pool parties on the weekend that go all night long until the sun comes up with loud music and lots of drunken people. It is really out of control. If you like that environment, then this is definitely the place for you.
