Pinnacle on The Park

I put a $150 deposit down to reserve an apartment and was led to believe everything was good and had everything switched over to the new address (what Travis told me to do) and then just out of the blue 3 days before I got to see my new apartment they denied me for something unreasonable and kept my $150!! I'm glad tho. That place is garbage now that I have seen other apartments! Do yourself a favor and avoid this dump.

Management at this place is extremely disrespectful and avoidant. They do not care about accommodation when it comes to the residents who live here and they don’t even work out of the office at pinnacle. They’re rarely available and trying to schedule an appointment is difficult as if they only make time for future residents. In BOTH spire and pinnacle there are so many water issues, elevator issues, garage gate issues and also parking fees are $180+ at the moment AND INCREASES yearly. People are constantly in and out of living here and I don’t blame them IM NEXT!

We've lived here for 12 months and the entire time have been waiting to leave. Every day the elevators are broken, everyday you will step in dog pee or at the very least be kept up all night because of dogs barking in the park. Every weekend the screams from the pool echo through the buildings. There are absolutely no rules when it comes to the common spaces- toddlers run around the gym, men workout without shoes on, it's hell. The amount of packages we've had lost from Amazon, UPS, and USPS is staggering. Right now we've launched an investigation with USPS for an international package that somehow made it to Pinnacle (and was scanned in by USPS) but never made it to our mailbox. This happens pretty frequently and luckily we always get refunded by the sender- but WHERE do the packages go? The front desk staff is a constant rotation of temps, so your guess is as good as mine. This place is far too overpriced for what it is- you WILL have your packages stolen, you WILL step in dog poo in an elevator, and you WILL be harassed by homeless people the second you leave the front door. Oh! Also, pretty much all the time there is random trash scattered around hallways, etc. So get used to that!

The management is horrendous. Constantly waiting 10+ minutes on elevators and complex is always covered in trash and dog urine. This complex is more of a headache than a place to live.

Save your time and don’t even bother living here. Although the two months free is great up front don’t let it fool you. Property is horribly managed from management to the amenities. The garage doors and elevators go down numerous times a month, management takes forever to get back to you regardless of urgency, front desk staff is horrible. And the cherry on top is I got my own car towed out of my parking spot. Definitely the worst peppery I’ve ever stayed at

Update————— Things are getting worse day by day. Management doesn't give a rats back on what's happening in the building. People are attacked by homeless in the parking lot. They've increased parking to a whopping $180 per month. Car's are broken into on a daily basis. Motorcycles are stolen from the "secured" garage, storage lockers are broken into. Do your self a favor and find another place to live. DONT PUT YOUR LIFE AT RISK. Worst customer service. The front desk staff is rude, acts pricey and ignorant. It's impossible to get a ahold of the leasing agent if you're in problem. The maintenance service is super slow and annoying. Had a broken bathroom, took them 15 days to respond. They don't attend to your request for weeks even if it's an emergency. The security here is a JOKE, anyone can walk in get to any floor. Don't believe these 5 star reviews, they all have been bought, none of them live here. Living here is worst than a motel. It's no where close to a 'luxury apartment'. Do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else.

You would think parking would be free for tenants

The parking fees have been increased twice in 10 months, going from $25 to $180 in less than a year. So be prepared for your initial rent quote to increase throughout the year. The parking garage has never worked in the 10 months I have lived here. So be prepared for anyone to come and go into the garage, that is supposed to be gated and only for residents.

Very very poor management. No communication. No answers to the phone calls or simple emails. As soon as you sign your lease and pay - you are nobody there. No one gonna care about you even with major questions.

I’ve lived at Pinnacle for over a year in a half, and I just resigned my lease. I thought about moving somewhere else, and I toured other apartments, but the feeling you get here is unmatched. No apartment in San Diego is perfect, but something that Pinnacle offers that no one else does is their customer service and making you feel like home. Dajana is one of the best leasing agents here, she constantly checks in on you after your move. Blanca and the concierge are just the best because they remember every resident and welcomes everyone with a warm smile in the morning and at night. Carlos is the manager, and you can tell he really does care to make every person feel safe and at home. The grounds keeper, Artist, is always looking out for the residents. The maintenance men are always very professional, nice and quick with any requests you put in. When you live here, you just feel at home because of the staff. Every staff member will know you by name, they will always check up on you. When I toured other places, I noticed that none of the staff members greeted them or had casual conversations with their residents the way that Pinnacle does. The staff here is trying the best they can to make every resident feel at home and feel welcomed, which to me is better than any amenity. Thank you Pinnancle staff for making my move to San Diego feel like my new home.

First off, you can't beat the promotion we got...first month free in a brand new high rise! That averages out to less than $1700/month for our lease! Great building in a location that's improving.

This apartments have been really good, me and my husband are military and we got station here in San Diego and we where looking for some apartments online, they really look like the pictures on the web, they were really nice when we got here to the apartments, the view is perfect couldn't ask for more, THANK YOU PINNICLE ON THE PATK.
