Property Ratings at Pioneer Ridge Apartments
These apartments are steadily getting worse. They have a girl in the office who answers the door and greets you with an attitude and then can't figure out why you respond the way you do. We have put work orders in that have been repeatedly ignored to the point that my sliding glass door is not only VERY hard to close but it hasn't been sealed correctly because wind howls through it. We are currently paying for the running of a pump to pump water out from under the building that keeps us up all night with the constant banging with what appears to be no end in sight. I guess that is the final solution. Pioneer Ridge used to be a great place to live. Many other apartments have updated kitchens. I am pretty sure the appliances in my apartment have been here since a day before they finished building the place. It's an apartment, with amenities that are pretty much standard anywhere at this point.
We have been living at Pioneer Ridge in a one bedroom for about a year now and are very pleased with our choice. Our neighbors are quiet and friendly, the staff is welcoming and helpful, and the environment is peaceful. We have a stunning view that overlooks the pond and forested area, making it feel much more private than apartment-style living. Many of the reviews for Pioneer Ridge complain about the parking, yet we have never had an issue with finding a parking spot - even late at night! The apartment is very spacious, especially for the price. Maintenance, although they are often late to the scheduled time, does a great job at fixing the issue and following up if needed. Living at Pioneer Ridge is our first apartment experience, and we feel we really lucked out with a wonderful place to call home.
If u don't mind living around animals abusers, or kids that talk back. This place is for you. The office staff here lies more then my rugs. I am a senior citizen and disabled and I get harassed more than movie stars. They raise the rent every time you renew your lease. I have 2 cats and am outa here. Sincerely A GOD loving woman
We love it here. Location is great at the top of a hill with 6 big name grocery options, coffee lovers unite as well. Maintanance is well kept and issues are taken care of promptly. The office is professtional while making you feel like family. It's fun to open my sliding glass door to find ducks and nutria outside. The layout for all bedroom options is modern and practical. Pets are welcome too. That is a huge plus in our book! Pool offered in the summer months and 2 play areas for the children. A 24 hour mini gym and a club house is offered as well. Assigned and open parking available.
I read the other reviews and have to say I totally disagree. This summer, there have been many projects going on around the property--so I will agree that parking has been a little more difficult. However, staff has always given other options of where to park (Church or Haggens)...and each apartment is given one covered carport for FREE to park in. I have never gotten a rude or un-welcoming vibe from the office or maintenance staff--everyone is always nice and helpful. I highly recommend anyone looking for a great place to live, moving to Pioneer Ridge.
If you don't pay extra for a covered parking spot, there is nowhere to park for more then half the day. They will give warning that some area of road will be replaced for a few days but will not provide a place to park when this is happening. Reducing the already cramped parking areas to a even smaller area. If you work later then 6:30pm, you'd better pay extra from a covered spot if you want to have a spot to park that's close and they can't tow you from. Good luck finding a spot, you will really need it.
I would love to have moved here. It was close to work. Yet, I was told what I wanted/needed were not available without any other options offered. It was basically given. "Sorry, no!" and then shown the door. Decided it was just as well I DIDN'T move there with that kind of "Welcome" from the office staff member.
