Property Ratings at Plaza Del Sol Apartments
I've lived here about a year now. When I moved here it was to save money. It's Cheap and I'm living low income as is and the apartment looked decent.the apartment complex is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. But as much money as I spend on ant poison every week the ants always come back. Seems like I live on top of a billion colonies. Not only that, but they also tow their own tenants cars for having expired tags. So now the money I put aside to go re register my vehicle with, I now have to use to get my vehicle out of the tow yard. It's been parked out there everyday in different parking areas for a few nights and all of a sudden they decide to tow it for expired tags? I don't understand why they couldn't just leave that up to the cops to check for tags not property management.
I have lived here for over a year now. Neighbors are quiet, no problems with them at all. Apartment seems beautiful, As I had moved in the cabinets/appliance was new. carpet was also new. When it rained alot the ceiling started leaking. I reported it to the management. They did not come and check the leak until days later and all that the maintenance guy did was pop a hole on the ceiling and let more water through. He stated he will come back the next day, but he did not. The leak became worse and after 3 weeks of calling and complaining to the management they finally send someone. The ceiling was pregnant with water(about 6 feet by 6 feet large), it was a safety hazard. It had already ruined some of my furniture. Eventually the maintenance people replaced most of the living room ceiling and replaced insulation (the old ones they took out had mold all over them). A month passed and it rained again. And ofcourse the ceiling leaked AGAIN. Whenever I call the management all they seem to do is just sweep off the water from the ceiling and every time it rains, it leaks, then I call and they sweep. It is managed badly, although I really like the apartments it just is not worth living here. Area wise I see drunks walk by the apartments, sometimes leaving empty bottles of alcohol at the walkways of the apartments. I had my bike stolen and also my neighbor's bike was stolen aswell (The culprits used a cutter for the chains both times). I never write reviews about anything but this I just want to get word out and hopefully people will see that this apartment is bad and needs better management.
