Property Ratings at Plymouth Manor Apartments
Moved here this year. The staff and maintenance are extremely helpful. Any issue I have had has been resolved in a timely manner. The price here is affordable compared to the other apartments in the area. It gets a little hot during the summer but that's what AC is for. Kind of wish it was a tad cheaper but all in all it's great and I'm close to all the main stores and everyone here is quiet and respectable.
I have lived here for 6 months and loved the ambience of the apartment. Close by to restaurants, Walmart, gym and shopping places. Quick maintenance and good management. Throughout my stay I enjoyed every minute and miss this place very much. Had my work place close by I would have stayed there for so long.
I love my apartment, it has everything I need and more. The maintenance is pretty quick, and everyone that works for this complex is so nice! I recommend Plymouth Manor any time I can.
I've lived here for going on 3 years already. Moved it in 2015 and I have to say, the management has definitely gotten better but still not the best. Spacious for sure, but a hot box in the summer. There are bugs no matter how many times you ask for a spraying. You are supposed to have a free carpet cleaning every year but I have yet to receive mine. Moving out this summer, and i have to say, I am relieved. This is a place to move in if you can't afford something else and/or if you are never home. Not a place you will be happy with for a long period.
I only ended up living here for a few months because the management and the maintenance staff was so horrible. I had a leak in my bathroom within weeks of moving in and they took over a month to fix it. Our heat went out on the coldest day and the office staff didn't even notify us I had to go ask what was going on. Then I had a leak in my bedroom coming through the ceiling fan. After 6 weeks and it still wasn't fixed along with all the other things that needed to be fixed from the original move-in check list I had enough.
I liked living at Plymouth House. It got a little hot in the summer and I had a couple problems in my apartment, but the staff was nice about getting them fixed. Great location if you want Plymouth school system for your kids, the buses come right to the complex.
I really like it here. Its quite. Apartments are spacious with lots of storage. Ladies in the office r friendly and very helpful. Never have a problem with maintenance fixing things right the first time and in short timely manor.. Would definitely recommend this place
Don't do it!!! Old, outdated over priced .. terrible management and crew.... I have had many issues since the first day I moved in, Maintenance is horrible!! Unless your lucky enough to get Brandon, he it seems is the only one that seems to work and knows what he's doing, the other, younger guy, used to hide out all day in the apt across the hall from me smoking dope and drinking all day while he's supposed to be working, Lasonne ( manager) Who is rude and lazy and absolutely clueless on how to manage , is married to the head maintenance guy so obviously he can do no wrong!!! It's always an argument when you deal with one of them Anyway Day 1 my bathroom sink was leaking it took them over two weeks to look even come look at it after several attempts! and I lived above the office! They came in finally and supposedly fixed it with a new sink but it was obviously an old sink because it had chips all over it that were patched at best and it still leaked ! after about 5 more attempts they managed to caulk the sink and stop the leak.. my ceiling leaked every time it rained, was worse in the Winter!! I showed Lasonne ( the manager) she didn't even blink an eye just agreed that it looked like it was leaking and had been leaking for some time because of all the stains in my ceiling, but nothing was ever done about it, my large picture window leaked as well..., BAD!! Sometimes I had to use a bucket to catch all the water if it was raining hard outside... I have had several electrical issues as well in the master bedroom as well as the bathroom.. 2 outlets in the bedroom didn't work at all and the one that did ,when used , blew out the circuit in the bathroom! My door buzzer randomly started going off one night, ( note- this hasn't worked for almost 8 months into my lease) checked to see if anyone was outside and there was no one, this happened around 1 am.. it wouldn't stop! So the only way to get it to stop I had to pull the wire. I told Lasonne that morning and again nothing was done at all.. She just kinda laughed and said that pulling the wire was the smart thing to do...Electrical nightmare to say the least had 2 packages stolen from my doorstep, vandalism.two cars that had all four of their tires stolen and both cars were left on cinder blocks. The list goes on .... use caution if you choose this place.. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.. Just not worth the rent they charge..
When my friend and I lived at the apartments on Postiff, we really didn't run into many issues with the apartment itself, aside from our AC unit, which was looked at within a relative short time frame and the communal washer and dryer in our area weren't the best, but these issues were minor if not negligible entirely. Overall, its a fine apartment for a first or second time apartment with a friend.
DO NOT LIVE HERE! Apartment was disgusting, was promised new appliances and livable conditions and did not deliver. Wouldn't let us see the apartment until the day we signed the lease because it "wasn't ready" we moved in and there were nails in the carpet, it clearly wasn't cleaned at all. HUGE SCAMMERS!!! We had to move, I couldn't even breathe here, and yet when we moved out they charged US to clean this awful place.
If you were to make a choice Do you want A NICE PLACE TO LIVE Yes of course No I don't want a nice place to live The apartments are so old that there are constantly bugs crumbling around.
This is a terribly managed apartment complex. I have been here for almost 3 years and have dealt with way too many management issues. Neighbors suck and are white trash. Management is lazy and does not return calls. Maintenance does patch work at best, when they aren't drinking on the job. Fights in the parking lot, I have had to call the cops 3 different times because of issues with residents and drugs/fights and management does nothing about. I have had mold growing in my bathroom shower wall that I have reported 5 times, and maintenance has done nothing about but paint over it. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE!!! I cannot express enough how lazy and mismanaged this complex is. I have literally seen the maintenance crew drinking on the job during the middle of the day on a Wednesday. Just a terrible place to live, and at this point it isn't even cheap anymore. WAY over priced for what you get. Everything is outdated oh and did I mention how bad the management is?! DO NOT MOVE IN, YOU WILL REGRET IT!
This apartment is cheap for the area and there are many reasons why. Nothing has been updated in decades. One expired AC unit for 1000 square feet, which doesn't even cool the room it's in. My apartment is constantly in the 80 degree range, except at night when it's in the low 70s and I can open my windows. Other issues include deteriorating roof, windows in the buildings are sagging and falling apart. Interior and exterior building lights have been out for months even after notifying the leasing office twice. There is a big oil spill that happened between the week of us applying and then moving in. The spill located on the front porch to the building has been tracked through the building carpet and apartments. Dirty laundry room in basement, horrible and lazy maintenance crew. Office does not return calls.
The apartments are old, very old, you can notice this from the entrance of the building. My major issue is their cleanliness. It is very dirty, everywhere. The basement where the laundry is it's terrible, sometimes leaking and almost all the time unclean. The halls and the stairs are dirty, with tons of dust and spider networks and stains. They're vacuumed once in 2 month or less. And, you have to call the management (read fight with the management) to do that. What else can you expect when the same girls working in the office, do the cleaning too. I mean, how can they do two jobs in the same time?! There's a factory nearby, in front of the buildings so if your building happens to be there it's going to be a very difficult. It smells on burnt plastic and the air is so hard. Luckily there are a lot of trees in the middle of the complex, but still they do not cover the factory pollution. Everybody smokes. Nobody cleans after them. You'll see everywhere tobacco. After they smoke, it's just dropped everywhere. It's discussing. In all the complex, they don't have ANY thing to put those tobacco remaining. People put in whatever they can, coffee cans etc. but mostly everywhere they can. No need to write that those are not cleaned up with months. Last year, luckily the snow covered them otherwise you could vomit just by looking at them. Hooray, in the spring they cleaned them up. I can not open the windows of my apartment from the tobacco smell. If you need any repair or maintenance thing be prepared to wait 3 to 6 months, if they're going to do it at all. The management office is very rude. Instead of trying to resolve and serve you she will fight you. Overall, I would not recommend you except if you really are in need and don't have where else to go. Before moving here, just do a lot of research.
