Riverton
Riverton is a large suburban community positioned roughly twenty miles south of Salt Lake City and thirty miles north of Provo. The city is primarily filled by residential neighborhoods, with a diverse mix of apartments, condos, and houses making up the local rental market. Numerous shopping centers along Bangerter Highway and Route 71 provide convenient resources for residents -- just north of town in neighboring South Jordan, the District shopping plaza in particular serves as a major hangout for locals, featuring department stores, restaurants, and the local multiplex movie theater. Sandy
About 18 miles south of Salt Lake City, at the base of the Wasatch Mountains, rests Sandy. The natural beauty of the area lends to stunning views. Hike the Bells Canyon Trail to see waterfalls and pay a visit to Dimple Dell Regional Park for access to horse riding, hiking, and biking trails along ponds and streams. Sandy is home to Rio Tinto Stadium, where you can attend soccer matches, concerts, corporate events, and other sporting events. You can also catch a concert, comedy show, or play at Sandy Amphitheater. The Shops at South Town offers Sandy residents all kinds of retail delights. Accessible to I-15, U.S. Route 89, and Utah State Route 209, commuting and traveling from Sandy is a breeze. Sandy also has a local bus system with stops to all four TRAX Blue Line stations in town.
Bluffdale
Bluffdale is nestled along Interstate 15, only 20 miles south of Salt Lake City, and provides a quieter suburban experience for those looking for a little more space in this scenic part of Utah. Sprawling apartment communities and contemporary single-family homes make up the bulk of the rental market here, but every rental enjoys sweeping views of the surrounding landscape. There’s a number of mountainous peaks that surround Bluffdale, giving this suburban area an incomparable outdoor feel. Jordan Narrows Park and Wardle Fields Regional Park enable locals to enjoy the scenery all year round. The nearby interstate makes a commute into Salt Lake City possible in just 20 minutes.
