Property Ratings at Pointe Grand Columbia
This is a very nice Apartment complex. But you can tell it was a rush job in Building them. We saw a lot of unfinished paint and dents in wall. We talk to some residents who had some of the same issues we did. Some people had no air when they moved in. Also upon moving in we didn’t receive a mailbox key and was told we would get a key in two weeks when USPS keyed the locks. It’s been 6 months no key. So mail was been held in the office for pickup until the issue was resolved.,we’ll just a week ago we were told they would no longer except our mail and we would have to go downtown to get our mail on Assembly street. Such an inconvenience . The sad thing about it there was no communication whatsoever to inform us of this. A lot of residents are pissed behind this as well as myself. A least you could have been informed to make other arrangements. I work in rock hill so there is no way I can get to Columbia in time to get my mail. And the sad thing about this is we were told we need to get in touch with the postal office to see what is going on. I feel that is their responsibility. But they have no issue with expressing making sure rent is paid . I say to anyone looking to move here just make sure you ask a lot of questions. Other thing I hate is you can’t open your windows, because u have no screens to protect your home from bugs. The apartments are nice. Just a lot of odds and ends that needs to be up to part. Also the Mainteance staff Rex, Reggie and Cortez are truly the best!!!!!

All in all have had a good experience. My only complaint is the Rent cost and the ways to pay rent. Do not agree with a $54 credit card fee. I travel and am stressing to pay by the 1st if I am gone.

It’s a nice quiet place but you have to go to the post office for your mail my garage is filled with stuff and I can’t use it when it is already paid for

I like that this is a new apt complex, and I like how convenient the apartments are to the interstate. So far everyone seems friendly. The pool opened after Memorial’s day weekend. There has only been one community activity to bring residents together. There aren’t assigned parking spaces. This is a smaller apt complex with people walking their pets and not always picking up after them. Management has addressed it.

The pictures that you see online doesn’t really give the apartment justice . You have to actually see it in person . The bathrooms are very spacious as well

Lovely place, so quiet at night and they are pet friendly with no breed restrictions. They have pool, gym that open 24 hours plus a dog grooming room.
The community is real quiet safe environment. The Staff members are very communicative and helpful. If there’s an issue they are very timely about fixing the issue.

Pretty solid place so far, very helpful staff members too. Maintenance and pest control are quick to come depending on the situation. The pool recently opened up; gym has the bare necessities but space to bring your own gear. Wifi handles multiple devices and is pretty fast without any issues so far since April.

Overall a nice apartment complex Good area Mostly quiet Close to interstate Office staff is overall nice but I feel like my families concerns are not addressed quickly enough or taken seriously Valet trash doesn’t pick up trash Non residents abuse the pool Non residents use the trash No one enforces rules of pool Courtesy officer is no where to be found Limited to no maintenance service or office on weekends Your Internet is controlled by someone else Multiple attempts to remove ants have fallen on deaf ears You have to go to the office to get your mail and packages So right now overall you are paying for a lot and getting very little in return It’s disappointing because this could be a great place but as it stands currently there is no “living the grand life at pointe grand”

Slight problem with renters insurance paper work but ultimately all went well. Everyone was very helpful and courteous. Maintenance was in putting on kick plates and adjusted all all cabinet doors for fit while he was here

I'm really loving it here. People are friendly and the office workers are awesome. But however I do not like the fact that people DO NOT pick up after there dogs, it's a shame that adults are not respectful. I could let mine poop at peoples porch and not pick it up..but I was raised better than that. WITH RESPECT..

This place is absolutely beautiful! However, the apartment I moved in had a lot of messy details with floor tiles popping out, a few walls dented or chipped, door handles operating in the opposite direction, and sloppy paint jobs. I am almost positive that this construction was rushed. I also had ants during my move. Moreover, the master bedroom has very little ventilation and the valet trash is not picked up everyday. In fact I’ve been here for three weeks and only had it picked up once. I am very disappointed with this move. I’m just hoping that point grand gets it together because I will not be staying here for long.

Love the space of the apartment but really wish the pool was open because summer is almost over and the pool has still not opened. We pay a lot of money each month and want all the amenities to work.

We just moved in and really like how big the rooms are. The living room is spacious and the open concept makes it look even larger. The Balcony space is nice as well and there are many areas for storage in rhe bathrooms

Overall the community is quiet, The apartments are spacious only con would be not having a bath tub. Maintenance could also do better with service response calls.

I enjoy my apartment but would like to connect with more residents. I also enjoy my apartment and the lovely view from my balcony. I think the community is great! Apart from our amazing apartment, we love the gym as well as the neighborhood. We only wish the pool will be functional soon. It’s HOT!

I love the apartment & the way it looks. Only downfall is having maintenance open our door constantly without letting us know in advance as well as some of the office staff.

Office staff are friendly. The property and apartments are beautiful. The area is quiet and not much traffic even during the week. The full fitness center and puppy spas (spa) is definitely an added bonus. I would recommend this place and I’m glad I made the choice to move here.

This is a beautiful place! The floor plan is so open and spacious and the amenities are amazing! Our sweet dog is living her best life! I have already recommended these apartments to friends!
