Current tenant very unhappy

Well whereto begin Pros close to my job and the price is ok not great but ok. Cons. Brace yourself because it’s a lot. Roaches no matter how clean you are, literally no parking, terrible management. Friendly but doesn’t do anything. Depending on where you are, you may have the worst neighbors ever. Literally kids swinging from the upstairs railing and leaving trash everywhere. Parents and management do nothing about.

If only I could rank it a zero

Roaches. Roaches in my fridge. Roaches in my microwave. Roaches everywhere. The apartment is over 80 degrees at all times. Drug deals in the parking lot. Homeless people digging in trash and sleeping on picnic tables. RUN AWAY!

Great place to live

Ive been at Pointe Plaza Apts since June and I love it! The Apts are very clean and the staff here is amazing. You can call Jena the Apt manager at any time and she will take care of any concern you have. Maria the mainteince person is absolutely amazing!! She definitely goes above and beyond. Clarissa the leasing agent is amazing as well. They truly make you feel at home. Of recommend this place to everyone.

Mold, bed bugs and fleas!

Pointe Plaza has it all...mold, bed bugs and roaches. Drug dealers and late night parties on weekends. Management has horrible attitude towards renters. Rent goes up every new lease. Yuck!

I'm sorry you feel this way, however I have addressed the roach problem in your unit & have even done a clean out in your entire building due to the roach problem in your unit. Your cleanliness is a big contribution to your problem & I have addressed it even showing your pictures that the pest control company sent me. If you would allow me access into your unit to check for mold I will be happy to repair any issues, but you have repeatedly stated to me verbally that you want know one in your home, because everything is ok. As many of our residents are long term from 5 to 30 years and very happy with the new management as well as how we have made many property improvements with no complaints of any illegal activities going on here. I often drive by the property after business hours & my lead maintenance lives on sight and it is always quiet & peaceful. Perhaps if you were not under eviction for non-payment of rent you would have a more honest attitude about our lovely community.

Pointe Horrible

For one thing they don't have studio apartments. The rent rates you are looking at are $300 above what the have listed. No hot water and when they say all bills paid, they decide when you can have Heat or AC. Mold and roaches is no joke. Both run rapid! Place should be condemned! Pool is hardly ever open and dogs run crazy here. This Place Has So Many Pit Bulls, it should be call Pit Bulls and parolees. Dog Doo everywhere. No outlets in the bathroom and only one in the kitchen. Not even a GFI outlet that is required by law. If you don't mind getting your vehicle stolen and having no hot water and want roommates, roaches are everyone's roommates. This is the perfect place for you to live. Enjoy your many roommates of the creepy crawly. The beautiful courtyard has no grass but plenty of sand which all the stray cats use to defecate. So we also have plenty of fleas for you to enjoy. They do have laundry on site but they never work and you tell the management and tell to call 800 number.

I am truly sorry for your previous experience at Pointe Plaza Apartments. We are now under new management with First Choice Management Group and have worked very hard to get all the previous issues resolved to make this a better place to live. Customer service is the key to our success and we strive in making a happy comfortable home for our residents. We have made many improvements not only in the exterior of our community, but the interior of our apartment homes as well. We have a 24 hour service request turn around, therefore our residents are taken care of in a timely manner. We offer free weekly pest control for any insect issues our residents may have. Our A/C or heat is always running in the correct temperature according to the out door weather and it is never off . Not having hot water is unacceptable to us, therefore every resident has hot water at all times. We are a pet friendly community, however residents must be in compliance with their Houston Apartment Association lease contract and violators will be addressed with that issue if in violation. As the Community Manager I strive on a happy home that makes a happy life and that is what we are here for.

The air cconditionerin mmyunit has been working poorly since I moved in. I have asked the manager numerous times to fix it, and it's still not working properly.

Would Recommend "Living Here to Everyone

It's a great area close to bike/hike trails shopping! I recommend this Community it's really nice here maintenance issues are taken care of promptly, Office Staff is AWESOME, it's quite for the most part and neighbours are friendly.
