DO NOT LIVE HERE! When we moved out, we had to pay almost a whole months worth of rent in honestly ridiculous bureaucratic fees that should not exist for an apartment. Most of these fees are laid out in the lease, but literally anything that you do even a tiny bit different from what they what, they will charge you for it. We had to pay over 100 dollars for them to tough up the paint in the apartment which is usually wear and tear at any other place I have lived at. If you have a pet, they will charge you for the cleaning even after you've already paid a lot of money at first and every single month to have the pet. In total, I spent $35 each month and almost 700 dollars for my pet. They also gave me a bunch of random charges from Mid American, that Mid American can''t explain, and Polo Club wouldn't budge on it. Premier Real Estate that runs Polo Club is not a good company.

We are sorry you were not happy with billing procedures during the move out process. As you stated, we very clearly state everything in lease to be truly transparent. Per the lease "Repairs to damage caused by dog or cat to flooring, walls, Woodwork, or any other facilities or appliances within the Apartment or on the premises shall be the sole responsibility of Tenant.” The utility process is also clearly outlined in the lease. “If service for Resident Utilities/Services of gas or electricity is not connected upon move-in or is disconnected prior to the date Resident vacates the Apartment and/or terminates the lease, Resident will be liable for a charge of $50.00 plus the actual or estimated cost of the utilities or services used while the utility or service should have been connected in Resident’s name” Please feel free to reach out to us at 515-222-9981 if you would like further clarification. The apartment complex and the unit I live in are clean and all of the appliances are updated and work well. No holes in the walls or stains in the rugs, cute balcony and working fireplace which is super nice in winter. Maintenance staff are fast and efficient, they have fixed everything promptly when the request is called in or submitted online—even when my roomie walked through the screen door and broke it, they replaced it within a day, no charge. :) They do an excellent job keeping the grounds clean and doing pest control in the units. They also hold a lot of special free events to promote the community. Shelly and Trista are super friendly and they communicate well about special events, unexpected maintenance issues, and anything else that comes up. All of my interactions with them have been pleasant, I really appreciate them. Living here has been awesome!!

We have an issue of some foul smell in our bedroom and bathroom. We raised a request last month and they are not able to fix the issue till now. We have 2bd and 2bath. But we are using only 1bd and 1bath because of this issue. We asked for discounts in rent and they are not giving. They are also not fixing the issue. Will they allow us to stay if we don't pay rents on time?. Wont they charge fine?.If that is the case they should also be accountable for fixing the issues. They say they will be doing this and that to give permanent fix but nothing has been done. We made a mistake by signing a lease with them. They can't deny it as we have raised the request and email communication as proof.

My fiancé and I have lived here since July and are very pleased with everything about The Polo Club. It is very close (but not too close) to the highway and also to Jordan Creek, so everywhere you want to go is so close! The maintenance men and all other staff have been helpful, professional, and timely. The apartments are very nice, well kept, and spacious for the low price. We live in an exterior unit. The higher price is definitely worth it for the private entrance and large deck. We will be here for awhile!

Living at the Polo Club on the corner of 60th and EP True has its advantages. I literally am 10 minutes door to door from my office on 42nd and University. My 16 year old daughter walks to her job on 60th and Ashworth. Jordan Creek Mall is one, if not the biggest mall in Iowa and is walking distance as well as are numerous restaurants, Hy-Vee, Cinemark 20, etc. There is a bike trail right behind the apartments that goes from Jordan Creek to I imagine all the way down town Des Moines. We have walked the trail though and it is super nice and relaxing. One of my favorite parts of my apartment believe it or not is the windows and door to the patio. I live right off of EP True and I can barely hear the traffic. These windows and doors are solid. The utilities are spot on. I pay $99 on the budget plan with Mid-American which includes both electric and gas. Now for the leasing staff: I don't even know where to begin with this. What I can tell you is you couldn't go to all the apartment complexes in all of Iowa and cherry pick better staff than what the Polo Club has. Assistant Manager Shelly and Apartment Manager Trista are absolutely wonderful. Both are attentive, caring, and when you are talking to them, you feel like they genuinely care about you. They are constantly putting on promotions and get together's/ pool parties in an effort to promote community with all of the residents. And how is maintenance? I've lived in apartments for more than 30 years and the maintenance staff here at Polo Club is best I have ever seen or come to know bar none. Gilbert is my guy to go to whenever I need anything. This is a pretty big apartment so Gilbert is non-stop running around, but he always takes a moment to stop, say hi, ask about my daughter and just chit chat for a few minutes. If every I have a maintenance issue, I call down to the office and report it and either Gilbert or another great young man Thomas is in my apartment the same day and often times within the hour. Thomas is just a real pleasure to talk to as well. I have never seen the guy without a smile, and you can just tell he genuinely enjoys his job. As with Shelly and Trista in the leasing office, you couldn't have a better one-two punch in maintenance.

We have been living in Polo Club Apartments for more than a year. We really like the apartment for its proximity to all locations be it school, parks, stores, supermarket, shopping malls or any area of interest. The best part is the Leasing office Staff, who are very approachable and prompt in helping or facilitating us whenever we need. This makes us feel like home as we are assured of immediate support. The apartments are really safe as they have secured entry access to every building. Special Thanks to the maintenance staff for their quality service and timely support. So far so good at Polo Club! We moved in almost three years ago, and love it! We have an exterior unit, which comes in handy during summer. You can't beat the location, and the management staff are wonderful- very friendly and professional! We had issues (location, faces the woods which we did not like) with our old apartment , but management was incredibly responsive and took great care of us , helped us in finding a different apartment in another building. I definitely recommend!

Wve lived at Polo Club Apartments for 1.5 years. I've loved my time there. Affordable utility costs, outstanding staff to answer questions and assist any maintenance issue one may encounter. I felt safe because of the secured entry access. The cute park and pool were perfect for my young daughter. Very clean and we'll-maintained buildings, I fully recommend Polo Club to anyone looking to relocate in WDM, conveniently located near Jordan Creek, but far enough to avoid the noise of traffic.

We have lived at The Polo Club apartments for almost a year. The apartments are well maintained and you couldn't ask for a friendlier staff. They are always looking for ways to improve and seek the advice of their tenants. It is a community atmosphere with privacy if you choose. They host gatherings at the clubhouse so that tenants may get to know one another. The pool, seasonal, is always clean and well maintained and the sunning deck is wonderful. Maintenance doess repairs in a timely manner and are always friendly. They also clean up after they finish a repair. They do a great job of snow removal and de-icng. I have heard horror stories about apartment living, nut evidently none of those people have lived at Polo Club. Keep up the good work!

I have lived at Polo Club for 6 months and it has been great! I was relocating from out of state and Polo Club made the process quick and easy! Staff is always quick to respond and any maintenance request is completed in a timely manner! Apartments are well-kept and have plenty of room! Polo Club is the perfect location in WDM! Bike/running trails are right by the complex and many shops and restaurants are close by! I would definitely suggest Polo Club, the experience has been great!

We've lived at Polo Club Apartments for a year; it is a great place to live, outstanding staff, incredibly responsive, they work quickly and together to make you feel comfortable and at home. The lease office staff Shelly is very professional and friendly staff. Polo Club is perfect, spacious apartments that offer the conveniences that made us feel like home. This apartment has spacious rooms, many Closets, Linen storage which my wife loved a lot. This apt have enough light holder on ceiling and you do not need any light stands. I felt safe because of the secured entry access. Very clean and we'll-maintained buildings, also near by every thing you could want. We just moved here few months back,feels like home,friendly neighborhood,good staff,interiors are good,regular inspections done. easy access to jordon creek mall. enjoy staying here. I keep looking out from balcony to see some beautiful birds,if I am lucky I get to see deers too, lovely sight.
Have lived here for four years and continuing. Love the staff and 24 hours emergency maintenance crew, they are always helpful and friendly and any issue is usually fixed in few hours sometimes within an hour of being reported. Friendly neighbors and perfect location near to Jordan creek mall , close to gas station , grocery stores and in the center of west des moines. Polo Club apartment is Pet Friendly and have a big Dog Park!!! Another advantage I see is it's in waukee school district and will get school bus infront of PoloClub, as a parent which is a BIG BIG plus point for me!!!! I highly recommend this apartment complex for all types of residents.

This is now our second home. Best place to live in. The management has always been helpful. We moved around 6 months back and had a few things that needed replacement, no questions asked, they checked and replaced with new things immediately. The best neighborhood to live in with best management and beautiful ppl around. Our family strongly recommends this place to others.
I have been here for a year now and i am delighted with the service and facility at polo club. Friendly office staff available 7 days in a week. I am delighted with the service people and the service requests are completed within hours. I am enjoying the occasional get together arranged by the management and other events. The location is very amazing. Malls, Interstate roads are easily accessible.

We have been here for over 7 years and love it. Management is very easy to work with and go out of their way to help us make our apartment feel like our personal home. They also provide various events throughout the year to enhance interaction with other residents. Maintenance is readily available and would even change a light bulb if we asked them to. We feel that we are close to anywhere we need to go with the Mall close by and the interstate/freeway easily accessible. Our neighbors are very cordial and we feel safe here. The few times we had inadvertently left our garage open, nothing had been touched, and we never worry about items out on our deck.
The apartments are really good. Have been living here for a while now and cant beat the location. Closer to Jordan creek mall, walmart , costco. Nice walking path going around the apartment. The rooms and halls are spacious. Maintenance is very good and on time. Lots of parking and also garages available . Kids enjoy the swimming pool and also the gym available in the apartment is very helpful.
I love the office and the maintenance staff .. they take great care of your concerns and requests. The maintenance staff is very prompt to help with the repairs. The location is perfect - a trail just behind the apartment, walking distance to wild rose park.. close to walmart/costco and other shopping centers.... in Waukee school district .. snow removal in winters in the driveways are taken care quickly .. I love living here :)

I’ve been living here for the past 1.5 years. The location is great. There are lot of local stores and restaurants nearby and the Jordan creek trail runs right next to the property. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Maintenance is great. In fact all my maintenance issues were resolved within 24 hrs. I love Polo Club.
We've been at Polo club for 2 months and love it. We have great neighbors, the pool was nice when it was open, and our apartment was clean when we moved in! It was definitely a change from living in a house, but we enjoy living in the outer unit with our own entrance.

We moved in summer'17 and our unit had new paint, hardwood, carpet, and counter tops. We have a large dog so we pay extra for the first floor unit but it's worth it. The noise between neighboring units is surprisingly very quiet but you can hear everything from the hallways. We use the online portal for rent, maintenance requests, and our auto-payment schedule which we really really like. We've never had problems with the management and the groundskeeper is very nice and friendly. We were new to Des Moines when we moved in and what we've realized is that this location is the best. You're 5 minutes from an on-ramp to hwy 235 or 80, 5 minutes from Jordan Creek and West Glen, and 15 minutes from downtown Des Moines. We love this location so much!
My husband, 2 cats and myself have lived at Polo Club for just under 5 years. Overall our experience has been very positive. The location is great, less than a block away from Jordan Creek Mall, and close to many restaurants and grocery stores. Also easy access to I-235. We have lived here for quite awhile now, and I know apartments are getting remodeled, so ours more than likely will be once we move out, so some of our kitchen appliances are slightly outdated. With that being said, anytime we have had an issue with an appliance going out, I can simply write a maintenance request on the online portal, and it is quickly resolved. For example, both our dryer and dishwasher broke within the same week, and both were immediately replaced. Our utility bills are relatively low. All units have central air which is great in the summer. There are also great bike paths that are right by the complex. The pool is one of the best pools I have ever saw at an apartment community, with and upper deck that is shaded. Again, overall we have had a positive experience and I would say the one thing that in my opinion makes this place stand out is the fast response from maintenance, they are great!
I have been living in these Apartments for a year . Great Location! Jordan Creek Mall is within walking distance. The highways and other shopping Plazas are conveniently within distance. The management team respond to request in a timely manner and go head and shoulders beyond just helping with your request. The apartments are spacious with washers and dryers which is a plus for me.
Kind of expensive for what you get, but very accommodating for animals and maintenance work is done quick. Have had a lot problems with maintenance though, tearing apart my bed while I was at work, letting themselves into the apartment and rudely waking me up when you the work order said no permission to enter, and not being able to find out what's wrong with our fire alarms. Other tenants are very nice though and the managers can be too. Be prepared to pay outages late fees ($100, the highest legal limit) if you're late on rent even if it's the first time and they like to resort to eviction warnings immediately if something is wrong.

We highly recommend Polo Club Apartments. They are very receptive to their residents needs and take great care of the facility. It's located in a nice neighborhood; close to the trails and westward expansion near Jordan Creek.
Very clean, well managed secured apartment in West DesMoines. We have been staying in this polo club apartment from Sep 2016. Good neighbors with spacious rooms and parking facilities and close to most important places. Maintenance was awesome! Management peoples are very nice and helpful. Good schools are nearby to Polo club. and it comes under Waukee school district. Its one more plus.So I strongly recommend the Polo club apartment for your next home.
This apartment is soo understanding! And pet friendly! I love how the girls in the office really go above and beyond. Thanks polo club for being so great! We have been here for two years and have never had any problems with neighbors it's a true community!
Polo club is wonderful place to live surrounded by trail for walking and bike riding .kids enjoy play area and swimming pool in summer .Gym facility for fitness lovers and dog park too .Most of grocery shops are nearby that's an advantage so far nice place to live!!!
Polo club is awesome! My family and I have lived here for 7 months now and have been very satisfied with it so far! Shelly at the front desk is super inviting and helpful with everything! She has been so great! With all the tenants, she even manages to remember my daughters birthday! The properties are lovely, very clean and good quality. It's quiet here, the area is close to shopping and the interstate! The maintenance is very quick to fix anything you need! They are very pet friendly and it truly feels like a close knit community! Great location only a short drive to grocery stores and Jordan Creek. Great outside private entrance homes. Maintenance requests are done quickly.
This is is our place of stay and the place we come back feeling pretty much as a Own House. The property maintenance respond to the calls very fast and accurate... Thank you Poloclub for making us feel safe, secure and Happy.. ????????
