Property Ratings at Polo Run Apartments
I thought for the price it was a good place to rent. It was quiet there. Maintenance was very responsive. I take off a star because one morning as I was going to my mailbox, I asked one of the office managers a quick question. She was rude and said, I can't talk to you now because I have to watch the pool guy clean.
Management is rude and she didn’t won’t to show me a property after I told gave her what she needed. The property manager doesn’t know how to talk respectfully.
The staff here was very welcoming and my move in process did not take long. This is my second time moving back here and best part is I always have a parking spot and it’s a quiet complex. Everything here is great! Thanks polo run staff :)
I would not suggest Polo Run to anyone. It is run by Tonti Management, a rental company that owns much of the rental property in the area. As such, the company does not seem concerned about professionalism or individual renters. Also surprisingly with the size of the company, I had an issue with my washer and wasn't able to get a maintenance person there for a week because the one employed at Polo Run was on vacation, and Tonti Management couldn't bring an employee from their apartments next door. Also, they list Polo Run as 1-bedroom, but if you look at the floor plan, you will realize its units are actually fewer square feet than nearby apartments listed as studios. Finally, there's just not anything happening in that part of Metairie if you are looking to do more than work and sleep.
Very small space but overall not bad at all. Great for a single person or maybe a childless couple. Pluses are the W/D in every unit, the convienient location to everything, and friendly staff. Negative are the super thin walls. My neighbors entire conversations can be heard as well as the opening and closing of the closets and cabinets.
I have been a resident of Polo Run for the last two years. When I first moved in, i was looking for an apartment that was efficient enough for one person with all of the amenities in one place. The apartment is very small but the price is fair considering there is a washer and dryer, dishwasher and garbage disposal. What i love most about this apartment is the fact that i find it to be very safe. There is a non-monitored alarm system in the apartment which sounds if any door is opened. All vehicles that are parked at the property for a long period of time must be registered which helps deter criminals who don't belong there. I have not had any instances or heard of anything bad happening here. I dont like the fact that there is no central air in the apartment but because it is so small the wall unit suffices. My advice is to leave it running on low during the day when you leave to make sure the back room stays cool. Overall, my stay here has been pleasant.
