Property Ratings at Pooler Station by Trion Living
When we moved in, we really enjoyed it..but now, not so much! We had a busted HVAC for 3 months and a still broken dishwasher. The idea of them fixing a broken dishwasher is for them to install a broken unstable dishwasher that falls out the counter. The "gym" has been ruined by the local kids. Broken equipment, holes in walls and missing weights. They've also emptied 2 fire extinguishers in there as well. The kids also throw furniture in the 3 foot pool. They just don't care and blame you for everthing. Maintenance likes to say they have completed a job, and they didnt show up!
Anyone you come in contact with, staff or residents, are the friendliest people. It is like its own small community that gives you the small hometown feeling that everyone knows you kind of vibe. The property is always neat and clean and the staff is always eager to help in anyway they can. I would recommend these apartments to anyone who is looking for a great place to live.
We have lived here for about 10 months now. Positives: Haley and Tyler. Without a doubt. Haley has been the best property manager I have ever dealt with. Always has a smile and doesnt just quote "corporate emails" back at you. She actually cares. Which is rare in most apartments now. Tyler is very humble and down to earth. Again always smiling and very welcoming even when he is doing property clean up first thing in the morning. I have had to call him after hours and get a call back within 10 minutes! And even called during the day for minor things and him be at the apartment within 30 minutes to see what I need. Maintenance tickets always completed immediately. Your within walking distance of the elementary school and middle school Now to my only con: because we are next to the schools, getting in and out of the complex from about 4pm-5ish can be a little tricky.

Thank you so much for your feedback! We are so happy to hear that you've enjoyed your experience with us so far! We take pride in making sure our apartment homes offer the best of everything. We are so glad you chose to live at Pooler Station; we hope to have you as our valued resident for many years to come!
The apartments are nice. Only issue is it’s suppose to be a gated community. The gate has been down for months . And while speaking to other residents in the community this has been a on going issue . They should fix it or replace it completely it’s not fare to the community that we’re suppose to be able to feel a little safer because random people can’t just come into the community but we can’t because the gate is never locked. You’ll be paying to live in a gated community . But it’s broken and has been for months.

Thank you for providing your feedback. We have experienced intermittent issues with the gate so we decided to leave it open at various time for convenience to the residents. We know how inconvenient it can be when the gate isn't working properly.. We have technicians scheduled to service the gate soon and hope to have this issue resolved as quickly as possible. -Thank you
Lived here for a year and I have to say they have done an amazing job on this apartment complex. Haley is very responsive to emails, and any questions you have about any situation while living here. Easily the best apartment complex in Pooler.

We are glad you have chosen a First Communities Apartment Community as your new home. First Communities prides itself on customer service and wants to go the extra mile to make your living experience with us as carefree as possible. We hope you love the Brand New Fitness Facility and the additions of the two new Dog Parks!
I have lived here for years, seen quite a few office managers and changes in the community. While I am pleased with some of the outside changes (flowers, “waterhole”), I would like to know what happened to the state of the art fitness center... if It is open I have received no notice and I see below the Property Manager promised, in her snarky response, January 2018. God forbid anyone post what’s actually going on here, just an update, there has indeed been another shooting since the murder. I admit, I was also choosing to deal with the current issues stated above and in the other reviews below... but I see that we are paying for amenities we still do not have. Where are we grilling, exactly? I feel that this management has taken advantage of the community, jacking up the price for amenties that some tenants do not even enjoy*! This community is nothing compared to the surrounding apartment complexes, but is priced as though they are synanamous. And let’s not talk about the insulation, I live under a family who’s children I can hear running and jumping until late into the night. Kids will be kids and we live in apartments so I get It will not always be quiet but I’m pretty sure I can hear my neighbors using the restroom, full stream, in the morning and that is just not okay. I will end this saying don’t believe the hype and DO YOUR RESEARCH. Reviews are not just by angry tenants who seek revenge, we all have the same concerns and are all greeted by the same snarky attitude you witness in that response below. -sincerely give the people what they want *hardwood floor *space *highspeed Internet paid for by Pooler Station because It looks advertised this way

Hello, and thank you for sharing your feedback with Pooler Station. Our goal is to provide all of our current and future residents with best in class customer service and an exceptional rental experience, and we would like to take this opportunity to share with you what our team has done to address and resolve these matters you've brought to our attention. We did have an isolated incident in the community involving a resident and have worked in full cooperation with the authorities to ensure the matter was resolved. Any resident who has concerns on this matter is more than welcome to speak with us so we may help alleviate concerns and provide concrete information. We are happy to announce our fitness center will be opening next month, and we are waiting on cameras, keyfobs, and patio furniture to be installed. We will be sending out announcements to all of our residents personally when the doors officially open. We do have grilling stations throughout the community, with picnic tables nearby, and when the pool opens, there will be a propane grill located by the pool for everyone's enjoyment. Residents are also welcome to opt-in for our community's free cable service and enjoy the free wifi at the pool and fitness center. We are also happy to share that new, vinyl plank flooring was installed for a lot of our residents who renewed their leases or had concrete flooring, along with optional paint touch-ups and brand-new vanity sinks. Residents are also encouraged to report any concerns with noise to our team so we may address the matter swiftly and professionally. While there is an expectation of noise in an apartment community, we do also ask our residents to respect each other, especially during quiet hours. We hope sharing this information has helped alleviate your concerns. If you have additional questions or wish to discuss these matters in greater detail, please, don't hesitate to reach out to us directly at plrpropmgr@villagegreen.com or 912-330-1230. Thank you, Haley G., Assistant Manager
I moved into one of the newly built apartments and thought I got a great deal. Even though i I could tell it was cheaply built. Whoever was hired did not do a good job at all. For a brand new apartment it has small holes in the corners of the walls, whatever material is used to place the bathtub is smeared on the walls in random places, there were dark marks on the walls and different color paint on certain areas of the walls. I had a long list of discrepancies to deliver to the office and nothing was done. My neighbor and I both agreed that we would look past it because of the prices. I later realized that things were unorganized. I hoped that new management would mean there would actually be someone in the office during office hours so that my packages would have a safe place to be delivered. I hoped the that sore eye of a dumpster would not be piled so high that the trash falls over in the street. I hoped that when I called for assistance someone would be able to assist me and reassure my concerns. For an extra $100 a month I am very disappointed and wish I had not been bribed by the idea of something brand new. My biggest concern is that I have only seen pest control twice in the 8 months that I have been here and as a result my neighbors and I experienced a high volume of ROACHES. When I inquired about the dates someone would come I was told they didn't know. We are paying extra for amenities but what about the existing problems? And why is Mandy gone we liked her?

Pooler Station; known as Oglethorpe Square is now a horrible place to live. New staff/ management is highly unprofessional. Instead of meeting with residents to get to know them they place notes on residents door about changes being made. The notes are very unprofessional and inaccurate. When asked about the notes ,the staff is irritable and rude. Staff shares confidential information about other residents and picks on the minority. It was said they this management wants to get rid of "those people" whatever that means... Majority of residents are moving out because the rent is going up extremely high and supposedly going up every year. These apartments are not worth the price at all... The guest bathroom has a pedestal sink with no counter or cabinets for storage and has no linen closet either. It also has a stand up shower so if you have small children, they have to bathe in the master bedroom.. The "dining room" is literally in the living room and the light fixture is not centered for a dining table. It's closer to the living room furniture... Installation is poor and does not have ceiling fans in the bedrooms... appliances are out of date. Don't waste your money... There aren't any amentities like fitness center, the pool is only 3ft entirely, no park for the children, no guest house, NOTHING BUT A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY... someone was recently murdered out there smh.. This place is horrible. Maintenance takes forever and never gets it right the first time... The office staff is really rude and unprofessional ..I wouldn't recommend anyone
