We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying your experience with our apartment complex and the events we host. Your positive feedback about our management and maintenance teams is greatly appreciated. Thank you for recommending us!
This was the best move I've made in my entire living in the Las Colinas area over 20 yrs. Though this is considered Farmers Branch it's still not far from neighboring cities like Irving, and Coppell . The staff is amazing and the most engaging I've ever experienced. We are always excited to get home to comfort & safety. And a beautiful view of the pool.

Thank you for another Portofino 5 star review. Our award winning TEAM truly appreciates your taking the time.
I’ve been satisfied with my choice to live at this complex. I’ve been here for about 7 months now, and the management has always been helpful, especially Ashley. What you get for the price is fair, and everyone I’ve met in the community has been really nice. The location is great, too!

Dear Resident, Thanks for another 5 star review of Portofino and Ashley. We strive for 5 star reviews.
I highly recommend this apartment complex. I have not even been here 2 weeks but it feels like home. The apartment is very spacious, with lots of storage. I am in Plan A3. Parking can be a challenge if you come home later at night, should open up a few of the reserved spots which are not being leased to make more room. Once leased, they can put up the sign. My one big complaint, it makes it hard to go out at night for fear of no spaces. The garage is very safe, lighted, not too tight of spaces with access straight into the complex. In addition, the hallways are climate controlled which is an added bonus. I looked at several apartments and Ashley sealed the deal here. She was so patient showing me the different models, knew what I was looking for, didn’t waste my time nor try to hard sell me. Her upbeat, positive attitude was so refreshing, I felt I could trust her. She was an immense help during the application process as well. After moving in, she checked on me and took care of my questions. Portofino, you are lucky to have her! During my walk through, I needed help with the window and Amanda, the manager came right up and showed me. After moving in, turned in my signed walk through list, there were a few minor things and she sent maintenance up the next day. She was very responsive, kind, and professional. Next, Antonio, who is with maintenance. He came and fixed what needed to be done and he is awesome. Great attitude, respectful, generated warmth and caring. If he is an indication of the rest of the maintenance crew, they did a good job choosing them. So overall, with what I have experienced so far, I feel I chose the right place for me.

Thank you for another 5 star review of Portofino at Las Colinas. We pride ourselves on our service.
We love Portofino at Las Colinas and are very happy here. Ashley in the office was a pleasure to deal with through the whole leasing process. She gave us a great tour and answered all our questions fully. The community is maintained very well by the support staff. They are always ahead of everything and keep us informed and updated on any repairs or upcoming issues. Speaking of repairs, they're very prompt and thorough, which I appreciate. Overall, Portofino at Las Colinas is fantastic and I would recommend it highly.

Apartments are fantastic, great 1 bedroom apartment very comfortable and roomy. Staff is very helpful. Other day we have minor problem in bathroom, shortly after we reported to the office, Mario showed up, and in 2 minutes problem was gone. Also ladies from the office are great. Alma helped us with the keys and the parking sticker and Ashly gave us a good recommendation for the restaurant. We will definitely staying here again after our contract expires. Highly recommend them to anyone.

Lee, Thanks so much for another Portofino at Las Colinas 5- star review. We are happy to have you as part of the Portofino family.
After reading these reviews I must say that emotions and stress are at their max when everyone has to move! I hope everyone is doing well now! Im dropping 5 Star’s for Portofino and the ladies in the front office. I can only imagine the stress you all go through daily! Love the apartment and the layout, courtyard is immaculate and the place is pet friendly. It’s crazy how they still stay so clean! Every time I have been to the office I am greeted with a smile from Ashley and Alma, and I have had one maintenance issue since I moved in and that was handled and taken care of in a prompt response and the manager Amanda followed up with me after the fact which was above and beyond. That’s why they got 5!! Thanks ladies for the sweet pad!
Please be advised that the quality of services and friendliness of management staff at the Portofino has decreased significantly. The manager does not care, and unfortunately its a reflection of Adara (Property Mgmt). Adara should really consider a new manager of this property because she is doing a dis-service to their brand. Other current Tenants will validate this. The manager closes the lobby for lunches instead of rotating shifts for coverage. Additionally, she just sits in her office and have discussions while tenants and potential tenants just wait. The other young ladies were nice and willing the help. So that might be a plus. However, the parking is terrible in the garage and street parking is limited. It would be in your best interest to buy a parking spot ($50/Month) should you still choose to move here. In addition, that area is still building and developing therefore parking on the outside will increasingly get worse. And when you leave, they will charge you for carpet cleaning and other miscellaneous charges. For their prices, I do not recommend. I had been here nearly 4 years and have seen 2 property management changes and 4 site managers/staff changes. I am simply being honest and transparent hoping to help the next person who may be considering to move to Portofino. I recommend asking existing residents before signing anything.
Place is getting stricter, and at this point they may as well be reading residents their rights. Getting worst on a weekly basis. Do yourself a favor and get a rent house, more freedom and at equal or cheaper pricing. More of a review to come...
Honestly if I could give 0 stars I would. Moving here has been the WORST experience of my life. I moved from CA decided to rent here. From day one I had issues reaching the office, had to send multpile emails and texts to get a response. Everytime there was an excuse oh we were out sick or in training. Finally try to do a application that didn’t work for days no refund for application fee for inconvenience. Then I get about 5 wrong lease agreements sent to me. I was given the run around for two weeks on what they could do to compensate for all the mishaps. I finally arrive they offer me a reserved parking that someone already has a pass for. I try to get my storage container delivered while at work they refused to assist. Tried to have my car shipped from CA to my new place they wouldn’t allow that. Then I finally move in the first night all the sinks and water smell like rotten eggs me and my aon couldn’t even take a bath. The next morn which is today my fridge goes out. I put a work order in before wk get home around 10pm and all my food is rotten because no one came to fix my fridge. I swear to GOD the management here is a JOKE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!! P.s. The apt name is false advertisement alao they are two miles from Las Colinas. Don’t trust!
Our company has rented 4 apartments for our workers while we are in the area, and I have to say it is the best home away from home I have had the pleasure to stay. The apartments are spacey, with nice hardwood looking floors in the common areas and good carpet in the bedrooms. The HVAC works well, and the valet trash pickup is great. I spend a lot of time in the Clubhouse shooting pool and playing shuffle-board. Haven't tried the swimming pool yet, but it seems to be well maintained during the swimming season. Lots of dogs around, which is a plus in my book, and the lake is right outside the back for a view or just a peaceful walk.
Hello. I moved into Portofino a week and a half ago and it has been a nightmarish experience ever since. I hired movers since I'm single and have no family in the area, and it was only after the truck was loaded and on the way that the office called and told me the flooring guys had just showed up to put new floors in my unit. When I arrived to move in, my apartment had no floors in the living area and I had to work around the flooring crew for my first day. After that, I found out this is an AT&T-exclusive community - after the front office had told me during my search that I could use any provider I wanted. Oh, and don't use the computers in the lounge - they're gone right now after getting hacked. My apartment was not move-in ready in more ways than just the floors, however. The drawer beneath the oven had no rails and simply fell out when I tried to open it. There's no water pressure. The pull cord is broken on the living room fan, so you have to have the lights on for the fan to work. I found out after moving in that there was less than two days of turnaround time between me and the previous resident. Now here's the BEST part: in the chaos of moving in, the front office staff handed my the clicker to get into the parking garage, but never mentioned that apparently you need a permit to park in even the unreserved spaces. This was never mentioned to me once in the move-in process, and now my car has been towed from the spot I've been using without issue for the last week, and I can't get in touch with anyone and literally can't get it back because my wallet and passport were both inside. Long story short, this is a horrible and unethical apartment complex, and the second I have the cashflow I plan on terminating my lease. What an absolute nightmare after a delightful first renting experience.

I lived here for over 2 years. The apartments themselves are nice. The hallways and property are not maintained to a decent standard under new management. New management is incompetent. I've come home to papers that maintenance was in my apartment to fix a work order i never put in. End up they went to the wrong apartment. This happened twice. You get emails that they have packages for you, when they cant find them they tell you them must have emailed you by accident. I was planning on renewing my lease. I was told my rent was going up $20-$30, when i inquired about it because i never got a renewal letter. After multiple request of never getting a lease or anything in writing i find out 48 hours before my lease is expiring that it is going up 4x's what they told me. I gave my 60 day notice then. My place was immaculate when i moved out. They nickel and dimed to get to keep my deposit. Including an $80 move out check list fee? I emailed Trish about it , with no response. I'm not surprised. If you live there document any and every conversation in writing. Their word means nothing and I'm still waiting for the district manager to call me from June. Trish said she will cal me tomorrow.

I really wanted to have a positive experience here. Before moving in, I read some pretty harsh reviews about the current management team, but even so, I was confident in my initial impression of the property and its staff. I will say, the units themselves are nice looking. However, the management team is in complete disarray. They're not nasty, but definitely not the friendliest nor the most helpful--by any means--and when it comes to moving things forward (i.e. executing various lease documents, maintenance requests, etc.) they are an absolute disaster. It is borderline impossible to communicate with anyone via email, which means phone calls and personal visits are almost inevitable. And it's equally as unlikely that you'll ever get a call back, so you should anticipate going out of your way to flag someone down in person. Not the end of the world, but well below the level of expectation for a property that works to portray the kind of "luxury" image Portofino sells itself on. That said, the maintenance situation at this property is a borderline liability not just for the property management company, but for the residents. Broken gates and doors left unfixed for nearly a month made the building accessible to literally anyone who approached it, while unit-related requests may sit unanswered for a matter of weeks. Whether you're in need of a new lightbulb or your air conditioning gives out in the middle of Texas summer, you can count on the fact that your issues will be addressed with zero urgency. Yes, at least four residents lost AC in the midst of the July heat and when the management team was unable to fix them all in time to beat the sunset, those left without were offered nothing but an opportunity to "sleep in the show room or an empty unit." Not sleep in an air conditioned room at one of the four surrounding hotels, but in a vacant unit or the showroom. Some tenants have voiced their intent to contact a number of local health and safety organizations, but I'm unable to confirm if they actually did. At the end of the day, I realized I'd almost downgrade my living space for a property management team I can actually trust. No plans to make an early exit-though I did strongly consider doing so-but definitely will not be renewing my lease. And while I really do hate to speak negatively about anyone or anything, I would strongly encourage any potential residents to take these reviews into strong consideration before choosing to live here.
I love Portofino not only has Victoria made my transition into a new apartment smooth I love the layout of my new apartment. I have not had any issues with management or maintenance yet they seem great. Every time I invite my friends over they are in awe at the place is so modern and luxurious.

Thank you for leaving a great review on our hard working team at, Portofino At Las Colinas! We hope you are part of our community for years to come!
I've been here for two years loved it when I first came here. There is good and bad within every community. The issue I have is that they call this a luxury style apartment and it is far from it. Granted they have done some "upgrades around the property" (but none to the actual apartments) and It's not a bad place, just not luxury. Much like every other apartment they raise your rent at end of every lease term...I can't say this increase was worth it or deserved at all.
amazing apartment amazing staff 5 stars very quiet area.
