Property Ratings at Post Oak Place
I DO NOT recommend this place at all. Its been a month since I moved here. Starting from the poor management service and communication, maintenance, extremely limited parking spots, inconsistent valet trash service wich is $35.00 monthly, pest issues, roaches everywhere, trash cans all over the halls and apartments door entrance 24/7 (all the garbage bags and trash cans it looks and smells so good, very pleasant experience). As a pet friendly Complex there's dog waste all over the property and buildings entrance (so is very pleasant experience to walk into the buildings smelling so fresh and clean everywhere). Is been my first month here and this is been a all nightmare. When I moved here, the apartment was already infected by cockroaches everywhere. The maintenance, management service, and apartments conditions are terrible but at least they are very proficient reporting the cars to get towed and get their commission! Thanks!

Run elsewhere! Moved in June 2023, worse place ever, parking horrible come see for yourself after 10pm, no hot water in shower, roaches all over the place. Estimates of utility bills from management $150, does not include Reliant, TXU, or Onccr. Don’t be fooled by new paint. Look elsewhere!

There is mold in the kitchen. There hasn’t been A/C in 100 Degree weather for Days. Maintenance isn’t taken care of within hours takes DAYS. You call the office no one bothers to answer or the call is hung up. Don’t recommend live at.

I have been a resident here since March 2020. As of a few months ago there has been many shootings. About a month and a half ago (8/4/21) a bullet came into my apartment and into my refrigerator. Management honestly seems to care less. I had a bullet hole in my living room wall for 2 weeks in which I had to call them to have it fixed. They said they would give me a new refrigerator - that still has not happened so I’m using a refrigerator with a bullet hole in it and foam from the refrigerator is coming out because the bullet shredded it. I emailed them a few days after the shooting asking if they could switch my apartment - I never got a response. Called them and they said they were waiting to hear from corporate - I’m guessing corporate said no and the best they could do is let me out of my lease with a 30 day notice instead of a 60 day notice (really?). I told them I was not on a lease. After reassuring me that they have 24 hour patrol and said changes are coming - I decided to renew my lease. Someone in the office said they would have my lease printed that day. Then a few days later they said their system was down and couldn’t print the lease. I waited a week and a half and called them back ( because they never called me). When I finally got in touch with them - the manager (Rosa) said the system was still down and that she cannot promise the quote I received from the other office staff would be the same Bc that quote has expired (which was not fault of mine) So I’m paying extremely high rent Bc I’m not on a lease. This was like 2.5 weeks ago and NO ONE has called me to let me know if the systems are still down. No one called me after the shooting - to fix my wall and no one called me about this fridge! Does it get worse?? Yes! More shooting last night 9/18/21! In the last few months it’s been soooo many shootings. This place was cool last year but it’s not anymore - maybe if they fixed the gates it will eliminate some of the shooting issues I’m not sure but I do not recommend this place right now….. I would honestly say we need new management. I also called corporate - no luck there.

This apartment complex is vile and hazardous to your family's health. They gave us an apartment on the bottom level that had sewer damage that flooded our apartment. They did not replace the carpet and/or make the repairs needed to keep my family safe. They dried out the nasty biohazard carpet and put it back down and said things were fine to move back in. LIES!! Our son got sick and they do not care AT ALL! The prices are tempting but don't do it...RUN!!

A member of the staff is unprofessional. The girl who we works in the office was so friendly and trying to be too nice its like shes trying to ask me out on a date like shes all that or something. Even when I called the first time on the phone when she ssid goodbye it was ridiculous like she thinks shes so hot or something flirting. No kidding. Its unprofessional. I used to work a type of job like that, just saying be normal it's unnecessary. Not every man likes that for business. Shes not my type. The staff needs to focus more on helping and running the place less on that. That's what renters want not a fake sort of thing. But besides that the apartment is nice. It's actually pretty good place to live. I like it and it's worth the price if you want something decent. The rooms are good I would recommend. Very comfortable. Decent location, etc. Worth checking out! 5 stars.

These incompetent dolts told my girlfriend to come get a parking pass for a temporary spot so they could perform maintenance today on her normal parking space. She went and got the pass and parked in the spot they told her to. Later, she walks out to find her car missing, these idiots had her towed for parking in the spot they had just told her to park in! Then they had the nerve to tell her that she was going to have to go get the car herself from the tow yard. After she made it clear that was not acceptable, they agreed to have the vehicle returned, but now she has to wait for the tow truck driver to return all the way from Weatherford!!! Somehow I doubt they’ll make things right and compensate us for the gas I now have to use going to pick her up for an appointment we have this evening. I wish I could say this was the worst of it at this place. It’s just the tip of the iceberg.
The new staff is wonderful and I've had previous problems in the years I've been here but they have been so prompt with trying to fix these issues and I'm going to sign another year lease. Dayrise Residential should be very proud of this new staff and management.

We can't tell you how much we appreciate your vote of confidence about our new team. We listen to resident feedback and are glad to hear that you are comfortable and satisfied here. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you.
So I’ve been here for about 6 months and the apartment unit I’m in is actually great. I’ve had zero problems with anything regarding my unit. The reason I’m rating it so low is because the apartment complex itself is a mess. Entrances are inconvenient, parking is a tragedy even if you pay for a covered parking, I’ve seen and read that people still take your parking at times. There’s a fee to pay your rent online (pretty big fee) which again is another inconvenience, and neighbors can be VERY lousy, leaving trash outside doors, loitering around, etc. I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere because the cost of living for what you get is not worth it.
The best apartment complex I've ever lived in! The property manager eveliz has been nothing but a blessing. She truly has a heart for her residents. I give her and the property 5 stars. Love my new home.

was not move in ready I had to work on apartment so things didnt break they have a bad bug problem. the office will lie to you just to get extra money out you. they also have alot crime here that office will do nothing about. they had shooting twice and rapid car jacking over from the short time I've been it's been terrible from every interaction with having to pry the truth from these liars and none of employees wont pick up trash. the people keep flooding the laundry mat and there black widow infestation.

Don't move here. Management is a revolving door and unresponsive. You can putting in multiple maintenance requests and will not get a response. My issue has been going on for weeks. Even the corporate office sucks! No parking. The gate is always broken and they full of excuses. They will take the time to distribute flyers about changes on every door. Who does the distribution? The guys that should be coming to your door to correct your issues. Poor poor property. Choose elsewhere! Did I mention that the new management still doesn't respond? They are only there to collect rent. Choose another property! You have been warned!

Do not recommend any one to live in this place. worst management ever.big list of complains. parking, swimming pool, mainanace, everything.
This is the worst place I have ever lived. Matintenance does not come to fix anything, no matter how many work orders you put in, the pool is never open, marijuana smells leak through the walls/vents and can be smelled all day long, cars get towed for no reason, and the office will never answer or return your phone calls. This is the most poorly run apartment complex I have ever lived in. DO NOT MOVE HERE! I was ready to move out the week that I moved in. Absolutely HORRIBLE.
It is a good place to live unless you ever need maintenance to fix something or need to contact the office without going into the office. Filling out work orders online and over the phone always "fall through the cracks." Voicemails are never returned. Managers and regional managers ask you to commit to a time to meet with them and never show up. They never call either to say they are not coming. Having to come into the office and speak to someone, sending multiple emails, leaving multiple voicemails, submitting multiple work orders and coming in to speak to you in person is what it takes to get someone to take a water leak and mold seriously. That is beyond ridiculous. This is not the first work order since I've lived here and they all "fall through the cracks." Management is constantly changing and they always act like what happened before them is not their problem. Seriously because you are a new manager you don't have to make a water leak and mold a priority or canceling an appointment you made with a resident a priority? Management's response was to make it look like they really care when they have proved they don't care about residents.

I love my community! I have lived here since 2004. And since Dayrise took over things have gotten a lot better. The office staff, from Ruby to Amanda and Joanna are all very excellent great with customer service!!! You can tell they really care about us! And the maintenance staff has been doing work-orders in a timely manner. What would make things even better is my renewal rent not going up very much. I am on a fixed income. Post Oak Staff deserves a raise too!! Everytime I go into the office they are always busy! They really care about their residents! And I love all the Appreciation Parties they do every month and give aways!!!! I do miss Regan though. She was a great Manager!!

The location is great. Staff is friendly. Last month i was leaving for work and i was greeted at the exit gate with breakfast from the staff. That was pretty cool. They do stuff like that. Lived here over a year now and dont have any complaints. They treat residents well, and I don't plan on moving any time soon.

The chicks in the office are always really cool. Some of us take our dogs to the office often for a treat. The other day the office was already closed, but the manager saw me and my dog walking by and left her car and opened the office just so my dog could have his treat. That was really cool. There are cool rocks and a dog park here. The pool is nice too.
So, I moved down here to Texas from out of state. Came to this place and The ladies in the office are spot on. Charla is by far the sweetest person I've come across in this industry. Any issues that ever occurred with my apartment, I took my issue straight to her and she had the issue resolved within a day. Excellent service. Quite place. Excellent team.
I don't know why people just get on here to write bad reviews... I moved in here about 6 months ago. I haven't had any problems. The ladies in the office are so sweet. They even make sure my dog gets a treat everytime I bring him in with me. The pool opened for memorial day and I am there almost every afternoon! Mr. Zack took care of my ac last week too real fast. I have a friend that is moving in here next month!
My son and I moved here avout 3 months ago. I feel comfortable here. They had a cool Easter egg hunt and party. My son got like 30 eggs! They had real bunnies in the office and food and drinks. The parking can be tight at night. overall, VERY happy with my choice to move here. Close to my job.

This can be checked out with Code Enforcement. This complex doesn't have battery operated smoke/fire alarms. The system is a wired in system, has equipment, alarm etc., on bottom floor in breezeway of each building and an individual monitor in each apt that is wired to this master box. Recently renters here were seeing lights blinking, beeping from those master alarms. And wondering why the annual inspection, servicing, testing of each alarm in each apt had not been done since new management took over. We were told in office to change batteries (explained we have none), they knew nothing about the system we have, were clueless. It took complaints to Code Enforcement and the Code Officer to prove to office management the type of system we have. Now...we are waiting to see how long it will take for the office to get a vendor to take care of our fire/smoke system. This is inexcusable. They can redo and fancily furnish their office, make numerous cosmetic changes but to not know the basics is deplorable. Code Enforcement can also educate anyone that asks about how this complex does not yet have a Certificate of Occupancy. Poor paperwork, lack of attention to items that are mandatory. Don't move here, this will not get better.
In side the apartment needs fixing not out. This is not the way you should get other people to lease. And when things break down Fix it Not wait two months after you put your work orders in.
This was once a pleasant place to live. In the last 6 months, it has become just the opposite. The new Management is horrible, worst that could ever be. Not sure if it is the local office or the entire Vesta Management way of managing. Grounds are not maintained, pool was only open a few weeks this year, no communication of any kind from management, answers to questions asked depends on who you ask and can change from hour to hour, day to day. There is no security, 24 hour maintenance does not happen (for emergencies), no way to pay bill after hours, maintenance requests have to be submitted multiple times and then have to go to office to ask when or if ever something will be fixed. This is not isolated case, there were 4 people in office at one time recently very upset their requests had not been taken care of in over one month. This is the new norm around this complex. Many move-outs, more coming, people are fed up and doesn't seem to be any chance it will improve. Don't move here, the brochures and promises look good, new clubhouse is fancy, but the actual living here is horrible. Can't wait to move at end of my least (several year resident).
The few praising this complex must work for the new management, Vesta. Oh yeah such improvements that is why code enforcement closed the pool this week, why the hot tub hasn't worked all year, why the lawns and grounds look trashy now, why the trash overflow every few days, why the hot water was off recently 4 days. This new management is going ruin this complex and it has only taken since March for this to show up. Don't let their pretty brochure and promises of things to come, etc fool you. Don't move here, you will regret it. Ask them why they were cited for code violations and the truth about what is going on in this place.
Have lived here several years, and since Vesta Management took over the living conditions have gotten very bad. Pool was closed until July 4, they opened it and it was standing room only due to people not living in complex using it all weekend. No security or apt personnel on site. Closed again for over one week. Finally cleaned it up, maintenance on it now is limited, no on site pool professional, gates are always open, anyone can walk in. No security. They have trimmed and cut down all the trees near pool, nice shade is gone. Other trees in complex have been trimmed or cut they look horrible, This is worse heat of summer and they are trimming trees severely. Painting has been going on for months, seems to never end. Piles of cedar mulch were dumped on parking spaces in 5 areas (parking is already bad), mulch hasn't been touched. Built "dog park" no announcement, so people aren't sure what it is or if it is to be used. Water off one day for 6 hours. Had "pool party" given by management last week, no one was notified, only people who happened to see a small notice on desk in office knew of it. That was their "promised pool party for the extent of time pool was closed". Hot tub hasn't worked all year. No communication of any kind regarding anything that is going on here, trash dumpsters are always overflowing, either they cut down on # of pick-ups per week or ? Very few maintenance people, only one who seems to have experience. People in maintenance quit constantly. No one knows who the Manager is, not the same one as Regan who was Manager when apt was taken over by Vesta Management. Now there is a man in manager's office, unfriendly, has not been announced. No announcement on anything, no answer as to who to call for security after hours or any time. Trees cut on this Saturday, pools have tree debris in them now, no "closed pool" signs, people just have to guess. Used to have good views from balconies and patios, now just horribly trimmed trees and bare. They claim they are "making it better for residents". it just keeps getting worse. Rumors are management wants people to move out so they can renovate or remodel apt (as they do whenever someone moves). All the new appliances being seen unloading are for the renovations as people move out. If that is true, give people who want to move now ability to do so without relet fees or dings on credit. No one is happy, just trying to survive until lease is up.
I have not had many problems in the last year of living here, until recently. I have seen suspicious activity that I informed the office of, which was then shrugged off. The gates are hardly ever closed. The parking is awful, there aren't enough sports in general. They allow people without parking stickers to continually park under covered parking for the residents. The pool is now to be closed for what will probably be the rest of the summer for repairs "due to previous management". They constantly post fliers outside of your door, with no real solutions to the issues. The people hired to paint moved my patio furniture inside my outdoor closet and locked it and I was not given a key to that lock apparently. They seem to think that slapping a coat of paint on the outside will justify trying to up my rest. The neighborhood is sketchy at best. Overall I'm torn. The location is awful. But the apartments aren't that bad space wise. I just expect more of management.
I have been living at Post Oak apartments for over three years and when ever I had a problem with anything in my apartment (Milestone Management) had no problem fixing the issue. Here recently management has changed to (Vista Management) and I feel things have not been the same since. I moved into a two bedroom in January and I have not had a properly working oven for six months now. I have to cook my food on a griddle everyday because my oven over heats. I can put it on 200 and its as hot as it would be if it was on 500. I've put in three work orders and maintenance has came out all three times but they have not fixed the issue. I requested a new oven and I have not received a response to getting one. Most of the new staff are not as nice as the previous employees and they are not very knowledgeable when it comes to questions about my bill. I'm very disappointed in Post Oak Place now, the appliances are outdated and the only thing that has changed is how the outside of the apartments look such as the paint, but what about the inside?
New Management doing renovations through out our apartment homes, I'm excited to see the out come
I'm a happy resident for a year now was thinking about moving until the new management came. The staff is friendly, helpful, and caring (Joanna and Charla) are some exceptional receptionist!!! Not to forget about the managers Mrs Regan and Mrs Ruby ;-) who's helpful and caring and willing to work with the residence..... Since the new management took over its been a pleasure staying here and a pleasure meeting good people. I take time out my life to sit down and talk with them to show how much I appreciate what they do!!!! thanks you guys for making post oak place feel like home!!!!!!!
I have lived here for a couple of years. They just switched management. Thank goodness!!! I had alot of problems. But since the new mannagement took over every maintenance request I have put in has been handled faster. I love the girls in the office, they are the sweetest. I cant wait to see the new renovations when they are done!
I have lived here a little over 5 yrs. and have been very happy here. The new management seems to be really good and enthusiastic about the up coming changes. In 5 yrs. I've never had a problem and have felt extremely safe. I look forward to all the changes and getting to know the new staff. We are lucky to have a good and caring staff!!
I TRIED TO RENT A 1 BEDROOM SUNROOM BUT THEY INSISTED TO PUT ME IN A 1 BEDROOM THEN TOOK ALL MY DEPOSIT AND TOLD ME HOLDING FEE MEANS THEY GET TO KEEP ALL YOUR MONEY EVEN IF THEY RENTED OUT THE APARTMENT TO SOME PREGNANT GIRL EVEN THOUGH I PUT MY MONEY TO HOLD THE UNIT THAT I NEVER SAW BUT THEY SAID THEY WOULD HOLD IT LIARS DONT TALK TO ANY OF THE IGNORANT MANAGEMENT I DONT THINK THE OWNER KNOWS WHAT IS GOING ON THERE AND SHE TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE FULL BUT THE TRUTH PEOPLE RUN FOR YOUR LIFE FROM THESE APARTMENTS LIARS LIARS LIARS I WANT MY HOLIDING FEE BACK SIGNED WAS A FUTURE TENANT AND I REPORTED THEM TO BBB
This aparents are ok . The pool area is great . The only problem is the price is little high in my opinion. And there is always a problem with parking lot . Other than that they are ok
I've been living here for a little over a year now, and so far, my experience at this apartment complex has been good. These are old apartments, but they are nice apartments. The one bedrooms, are small, but since I'm the only person living here, it is roomy for me. I wish it was a little bigger though. The closet is very large. It looks like it could be another room. The only thing I will complain about is: 1. When you are late on your rent, there are a lot of fees that add up. The fees are ridiculous. 2. If you need to call the leasing office, no one ever picks up! I don't understand why they have people at the front desk if they do not answer their phone! 3. There is no washer and dryer in the apartment, or no washer and dryer unit, so you have to pay to wash your clothes, and the majority of the time, the washer and dryers are not working! When there is a problem, maintenance usually comes to fix it right away. Sometimes you will have to put in another request for the problem to be fixed. Other than that, my experience here has been good.
I love my aparent community, I've been here for 3 yrs. Would love for them to update the appliances but other than that life's great.
