Property Ratings at Powder Mill Village
The unit itself isn't that bad when they're not turning your water off literally every other day. But the office staff literally have no clue what they're doing. I've called to ask how much my balance was and the guy Jose genuinely didn't know. You get different answers depending on who answers, if they answer. Cars keep getting broke into even with the police parking with their lights on. And the neighbors are always loud, complaints go ignored. Prices go up whenever they feel like it. Save your money.

Apartment office management and staff are rude and arrogant!! Whole experience left a very sour after-taste in my mouth. Just goes to show how unresponsive they will potentially be! Rent here at your own risk.
I would like to commend the PMV maintenance staff for renovations done in my apartment. Work was done expeditiously and with professionalism.
My apartment is ok. I moved to md from ny and I only saw the apartment via pics my sister showed me when she tour the apartment. I honestly do not live this apartment. My daughter skin was ruin due to bed bugs and other pest issues.
I was contacted because I paid my rent but forgot to sign check I have been a tenant for 3 years this time and 5 years previously with never paying my rent late nor failing to pay my rent so when they notified me of this I was concerned however I was out of town on training I advised them i would be back in town late thursday and would stop pass and sign check well they werent there when I arrived only leasing and they advised they couldn't help me so I returned Friday but to my dismay they closed early for company event so I wrote another check and dropped it in box I otified then on Tuesday that it had been left so they wouldnt be waiting for me to come pass and sign tht old check I didnt get a response until today stating they got check and cashed it but there are late fees and court costs ????REALLY because you werent there when I came in to sign check more than $244.65 in fess when I have never been late and they were at a corporate event I have to pay DONT RENT HERE on top of this I have nothing but noise around me in my apartment the balconies look horrible and they refuse to do anything about it BIGGEST THING there are several mental health programs in this apartment complex that dont pay market rent so they ewill try to get the addt'l money from other tenants.....
I like it here. In my opinion there are too many children screaming in the halls and littering about the grounds but children will be children no matter where you go. The parking here is terrible but if you don't mind walking then it should be fine. The staff in the office are very kind and the maintenance mane gave me great service and candies.
Great Management and staff. They are very professional and attentive to their resident's need. The only thing that is a turn off is the parking situation. If you come home after 10:00pm, you will have a hard time finding parking.
