Friend, Thanks for the 5 stars! We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Please let us know if we can do something to make your experience even better! Paige Eads, Manager, Paige_Eads@edwardrose.com
We have had no internet for 13 days with next to no updates. Since we are required to use CCI as our provider and are unable to choose our own, you're handcuffed to their AWFUL service and unreliable connectivity. My fiancé and I both work from home and this issue has caused us to consider leaving a year early than originally planned. If you call the front desk, they just tell you to call CCI - it's absolutely unacceptable.

Thank you very much for connecting. We are happy to report that after a community-wide outage, our internet service has been restored. If we may do anything else for you at this time, please do not hesitate to reach out.
I lived here for ~3 years from June 2019 until July of 2022. I would strongly recommend the complex to anyone looking to live in the Peoria area and wish I could take the apartments with me where I'm headed. The apartments themselves were generously large and of high build quality. There is a community feel to the complex and I cannot emphasize how nice it was to have a big lake view with all sorts of wildlife (my favorite part). Maintenance was promptly and accurately completed. The surrounding area is definitely safe and almost any store or food you need is within a 5-10 minute drive. Looking back, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the Peoria area. Criticisms would be: pool gets too crowded with non-residents, there seem to be a number of non-residents fishing the ponds and injuring wildlife & leaving trash, and I overall wish there were stronger enforcement of community rules. The grounds and wildlife (geese, ducks) are some of the nicest attributes of the complex, yet some people disrespect, injure, taunt the wildlife. I tried to remind those people to be respectful, as I know the complex cannot police everything. Please proactively monitor the grounds and encourage residents to respect all, including residents/ pets / wildlife.

Thank you for your heartfelt review! We are so glad your three years in our community were so pleasant and that our team's service and wildlife added such value. If we may ever be of service in the future, please don't hesitate to give us a call!
They don’t resolve issues completely when you move in do patch works it is good enough but they charge hundreds of dollars as fines when you move out. Be careful for future residents who are opting this community. if you try to contact about fines then they don’t respond properly.

I have a lot of good to say about this place and enjoyed living here for two years. However, there are also some negatives. Pros: -very nice interiors -washer/dryer in unit -peaceful atmosphere -excellent, responsive maintenance team Cons: -annual rent increase can be material -way too many rules -any events are typically during the middle of the day when people are at work -snow removal is often very sloppy and leaves a lot of icy spots In my opinion, management reminded me of an HOA with their dedication to the uniform appearance of the community and nit-picking about things like whether residents have something on their window sill, colored curtains visible, or cluttered patios. It felt like a bit much at times. Even with these annoyances, I still overall enjoyed living here. I would recommend it as long as one is aware of management's attitude and can tolerate the rules.

We're sorry that you feel this way about our community. We'll take your comments into consideration about our resident events being during the day. Our expectations for a uniform community prohibit any apartments from deterring others from wanting to continue staying here due to a less-than-desired appearance. It's not a strict policy as we only wish that you keep your window trimmings uniform with the others in your building.
Office & Maintenance Staff is deplorable. I am so disappointed by the Office & Maintenance Staff, as they have all the policies and standards for their residents but not enough professionalism in their work, not much care to their customers. They will do everything they can to not pay you your security deposit. And once you move out, they will not speak to you or try to help resolve your issue. I would not recommend this apartment complex.

They will claim they need to replace the carpet if 1 piece if missing or scratched. They will do everything they can to not pay you your security deposit. And once you move out, they will not speak to you or try to help resolve your issue. I would not recommend this apartment complex.

Every thing is nice in this property, but there roles are super crazy, they know that and they not going to change any thing, I give suggestions before I wrote this review but they don’t listen. They are not flexible at all. They force you to get there supper slow internet and it cost same as highest speed with Comcast!!

It was a nice place to live in regards to location and quality of the actual apartments. However, I would never rent from them again. If you plan on renting with them, FULLY read your lease 3-4 times. They gave my roommate and I the run around when we were trying to move out. We ended up having to pay an extra months rent because their “new receptionist” failed to inform me I needed to come sign papers when I called to let them know the date we planned on moving out. We also got $30 dollars back from our $700 deposit because of carpet stains that were there when we moved in.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. We’re so sorry to hear that your time here at Prairie Lakes Apartments hasn’t been positive; that’s not at all what we hope to hear! Our team works hard to try and make sure each resident can happily call Prairie Lakes Apartments their home, but is always open to hearing more about how we can improve. If possible, would you be able to stop by the office to discuss with our team in person? Or, perhaps calling our office to directly talk with management? We’d love the opportunity to think through some solutions with you!
I love my 1 bedroom apartment! Plenty of closet space, full-size washer and dryer, pretty view of one of the "lakes". I'm a female living alone and I feel safe here. Nice clubhouse, pool, workout room. Easy walk to pizza and beer; there's a little strip mall next to the complex. You could also walk to Schnucks grocery store if you really wanted to. Great access to IL-6. I looked at a ton of places before I picked this one. So glad I did!

I have lived at Prairie Lakes for over five years. The staff at the complex continuously maintains the complex to the highest level possible. This is a very safe complex with many amenities. Thanks for making this my "home" for the past five plus years!!!

Thank you for the compliments and acknowledging the hard work and dedication of our professional teams. It is great to hear this from a long-term resident!
This complex has most things - a safe environment, work-out room, pool, and nice looking units. However, the internet is absolutely terrible. CCI is the only provider that is allowed on the premises and the top package is $50. The $50 is a joke. Not only will the front office take no responsibility whatsoever for the awful internet, they don't realize that CCI is an offshoot of their complex. This makes them look bad, but they don't care. Will be moving soon because of this.

I went this past weekend to look at an apartment and I was amazed how well it looked. The manager was very professional and made it very easy for me to decide that I want to live here. Everything about this place is amazing.

I just moved in a couple weeks ago but love it already! I moved from Peoria Heights because I was looking for something safer than where I was. I find this complex being so much safer, more friendly and peaceful than any complex I have stepped foot on. If you are looking for a place where you are needing to be comfortable and at peace when you come home, come here!

Been living there coming up on two years! Great community, pool, work out area, great part of town! For the price, beats any other apartment in the area!
