Mix a fantastic location with a beautiful community near the Mississippi River, sprinkle in terrific parks and historic sites, and add a dash of excellent location and strong economy, and the result is definitely a treat! So much so that O'Fallon consistently ranks on Money Magazine's "Best 100 Places to Live" list. As one of the largest cities in the St. Louis metro area, O'Fallon is directly north of the river, bordering the Weldon Spring Conservation Area.
Nearby destinations are plentiful -- Mid Rivers Mall, Lake Saint Louis, St. Louis Premium Outlets, Chesterfield Mall, Maryville University, Hollywood Casino & Hotel St. Louis, the St. Charles Convention Center are all minutes away from O'Fallon. And while there are plenty of employers near O'Fallon (including the GM Wentzville Assembly Center), commutes into Downtown St. Louis only take about 30 minutes.

Property Ratings at Prairie Point
Like the settling, location & the style of the model I viewed.
Love this place would always recommend! Best apartments in the area!
This apartment community is very peaceful, away from the traffic. Also, has many shops around on route K.
The office staff is wonderful and my apartment is very nice. But the parking situation is a real issue for me and that would be the one negative thing I would say. When I'm getting home after a long day with groceries, kids and dog in tow and I have to park 3 buildings away.... it makes me crazy!
The office and maintenance staff are really nice and pleasant to work with. I believe my maintenance person today was Taylor.
I would recommend this apartment complex because it is in a beautiful area, it is quiet, and you get your money's worth.
Great place to live! The neighbors and staff have all been very friendly and helpful.
After almost 13 years as a resident here I must comment. The management, support and maintenance teams are top quality. My apartment - no my home- air conditioner went 'haywire' overnight. Drew was on-site the morning of 13 September. System diagnostics, replacement parts procured, items installed and a/c unit services rechecked. In the time I spent in my morning walk, Outstanding service. The Madison Prairie Point teams do some much more than 'curbside appeal! The needs and wants of the residents are their first priority. The property management office has a qualified and service orientated team in place. Well done !
Jamie was amazing! I needed an apartment on short notice and she pushed everything through as quickly as she could and was able to get me into a unit several days sooner than I thought would be possible. Her hard work relieved me of a TON of stress I would have had otherwise.
The apartments and facilities are what people are looking for, I will share.
Rent is high for a 2 bedroom and fact that walls are thin and hear next door is concerning. But do like the area
Location and layout of complex and they have a dog park.
Office staff was very helpful & accommodating. Evan was also very courteous & professional. Cleaned nicely behind himself.
The community was clean and quiet. Most residents were respectful of each other.
Madison Prairie Apartments is a great community where I feel safe with my family.
I would recommend this apartment not just because of good service we get but because of Lindsey and her staff (Kim, Jamie others. They are great in listening to the customer with positive approach and try to solve the problems raised rather than arguing and giving false promises. If Lindsey says something, she does. Kudos to the great team !
Quality and courtesy are outstanding. The price is jut way too high.
Our experience hasn’t been the best. The courtyard behind our apartment is a muddy mess, and we’ve had trash thrown about it as well. I’ve made complaints about our neighbors and their disposing of cigarette buds in the courtyard, but I’m not sure if action has taken place. Our neighbor threw a cigarette off her balcony and hit my foot. It could have landed in my jacket hood and caught it on fire. I believe the regulations of the community are not being upheld to maximize the experience of the community.
Had a bed bug problem from our neighbor when we first moved in. Was a real hassle dealing with that, but the management stepped up and took care of the issue. Hopefully the Orkin guy will be spraying regularly as a preventative. This apartment complex is top standard! Friendly and fast.
Just moved here, so far we really like it here. We have recommend it to people.
Great location, friendly staff...nice amenities. The apartments are very well laid out...Like the amount of space...the apartment community looks well cared for. Love the trees and garden areas in the back. The dog park is a plus as I have a dog!
Maintenance person addressed the concern we had and fixed it correctly and clearly explained how it works. Really appreciate all the help and support from Maintenance team and also Leasing office team, really appreciated. I would definitely recommend this apartment community to all my friends, colleagues and everyone.

Property Manager at Prairie Point, Responded To This Review
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a five star review of Prairie Point and your lovely comments on the staff and leadership. We are so happy to have you as a resident!
The customer experience created by the leasing office staff was the best I've seen.
Everyone is Soo helpful & on top off everything.Very Clean & a safe place to live. Maintenance and the ladies in the office are amazing I can't thank them enough for caring and helping and always being there. This is a beautiful place to live and I love my apartment. I would highly recommend my friends or family to live in such a beautiful place. Thanks again for all your help
Good to live as there near by YMCA, School and Indian grocery shops. Apartment facility are really nothing special than others. Need to add more amenities by increasing the play park area for kids.
In this community I feel safe, appreciated and valued as a resident.
Very pleasant and decent apartments to stay in. Close commute to office and all grocery stores.
The apartments are alight for the price, but there are certain amenities that got me to sign that have either never worked or got rid of.
The only caveat I would have about recommending someone to live in this complex is that they do not take an apartment facing the wooded area.
I have lived in this apartment for the best part of 12 years. Always a responsive staff and quality customer service.
Honestly, a kitchen is a very important element for most families. I would highly recommend considering updates on appliances.
DO NOT get an apartment here. I absolutely hate it here. The staff are very rude and selfish. Maintenance does not do their job in a timley manor nor care about what the problem is or about their job. We have had mold in the linen closet and all they did to repair it was paint over it. There's a strong smell of mold once you open the closet door. Our Ac unit had gone out 3 times during the summer and we kept it at a reasonable temperature it took them 2 days wth is calling just to have someone look at it. Our electric bill had sky rocketed and they did nothing to help with it. The third time they had came to fix it they left the cover off of the unit and there was an inch of thick dust accumulated on the cover. No one picks up their dog waste, it's everywhere! Their dog park is the size of one of the bedrooms there.
Please DO NOT LIVE here or sign a lease with Madison Prairie Point (Madison apartment groups). Management is extremely corrupted and dishonest. They will cheat on you and try to suck every penny from you, especially when you move-out.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEST ADVICE I CAN GIVE. THEY CHARGE FULL Month Rent when you leave apartment even if your lease period is over or provided them sufficient notice. They charge and does not return security deposit along with the rent (they says that the rent/deposit will be returned) but when you will leave apartment they will come up with irrelevant charges like cleaning, damage and charge with the name of utilities which you paid along with the rent. The management is so rude that they don't listen when they charge and when you try to prove along with your rent statements. They have kept over 500$ when I vacated apartment, So make sure to be overcharged (could be anything) when you move in Madison Prairie Point.
This is a good place to live for families. It's safe because it's tucked back away from view of the main busy road, and within walking distance of a school and YMCA. Management is on top of issues and communications, maintenance is reliable, and the grounds are well-maintained. The only downsides are the fact that they hire less-than-stellar painters, and the security gates at the entrance don't work properly, or at all, half the time. (There's no need for the gate anyway - the place is fairly safe.) Also, the pool, fitness center, and fenced "bark park" are nice, though small for the size of the complex.
