Property Ratings at Prescott
Told me they couldn't apply my housing discount (lie), gave us our new lease 30 days late, upped our rent by 6% in the first 6 months, and failed to send a new lease when they were told they gave it late while also not having the correct information on said lease
Overall living he has been decent! The area and surrounding sometimes doesn’t shine the best light on the complex! But love the location easy access to the freeway, a few good local food spots
The building is well-maintained and has a modern, welcoming atmosphere. The common areas are always clean, and the amenities—like the fitness center and resident lounge—are a big plus. Management is responsive and friendly, handling any issues quickly and professionally. The location is also excellent, close to public transportation, shops, and restaurants, making it super convenient. Overall, it’s a comfortable and stylish place to call home, and I highly recommend it!
Gym could be better but everything else is all good! Good amenities, place is clean, staff is available and happy to help. Space is a little tight and a little expensive, but it’s good.
I enjoy living here. It's pet friendly, conveniently located near freeways, public transportation parks and neighborhood businesses. I feel secure and comfortable here.
I pay way too much for the location. My wife doesnt feel safe walking to the store accross the street. And now my rent, parking, pet rent, and storage rent are all set to go up next moneth when our lease ends. That being said, we will be moving.
Love the neighborhood. Staff has had a lot of turnover over the 7 years I’ve been here but I love the team that is here now, both maintenance and leasing office. So kind and helpful.
I've only just moved in almost a month ago. So far I've had good feelings and interactions with the Leasing person for the building and with the maintenance person. They had a great ice cream social I got to go to. So far anything 'bad'about the apt are typical apt things. Sometimes I can hear the upstairs neighbor, sometimes there is a person yelling outside, the building is right next to a max line so you can hear the train (it's not that bad). I'm excited to become more a part of this community and the 10 minute walk to the top of mississippi isn't bad either.
Great location nearby the city without hearing street traffic. Has a 24hr gym and pickleball court area with grills to have friend and family join.
The staff at The Prescott are very attentive and assist with any issues/questions. Our time here so far has been more than pleasant and we are very pleased with our experience so far.
In looking for a new place to reside, Sienna and the staff are great to work with! Answered all my questions so far and were very responsive.
I like it,I feel very at home here. I have always admired this Apartment building. So,to live here is like a dream come true.
Professional management team very responsive to tenants. Safe neighborhood with good access to restaurants and markets. Max station on our doorstep.
Management is responsive and help from the moment you tour to signing the lease. Open to voiced concerns regarding the tenants. I would recommend this community
The staff have been wonderful!! Any questions I've had, I've gotten a quick response. The move in process was nice and painless, and I am enjoying all the amenities this community offers.
Love Prescott. Management, maintenance, and neighbors are respectful. Love that the community is private in the sense that there are FOB entries and a gated garage. Seeing the monthly bulletins change for events is cool. The area around the building can be noisy; traffic, non-residents, etc.
We are very grateful to live in a community with Mat and Laurel as managers. They have been very helpful to the residents. We feel safe because they do rigorous background checks. The Prescott has made many improvements since their arrival including the mailroom, exercise room and community spaces. The location is right in front of the Max yellow line and close to the market and good eating places. Providence express and urgent cre are close and parking is accessible. All in all a great place to live.
I am impressed with the management here at Prescott and the quick turnaround on request and how hard they work at making this a better environment for us to live.
Secured community amenities, good shared community space. Good location for those who use transit
Wonderful location, very pet friendly, great management!
It's an average complex. Office people are nice and helpful.
The move in process and living here at Prescott has been perfect, the location is exactly what I was looking for, and being right next the Tram Line and I-5 is perfect and the area feels safe regardless of what people say, and the complex is very clean, well kept, and the staff is very professional, i recommend living here to anyone looking to live and work in the area. Thanks again!!
Please do skip this one it’s terrible. Poor security, expect anything and everything to get stolen and your car broken into. You can hear every noise a neighbor makes, I mean every noise. The people that live here are inconsiderate and self absorbed.
Most of the people living in the Prescott have a total disregard for COVID-19 safety and let their dogs pee/poop wherever they want (including the elevator). But hey, mini dishwashers right?!
I have lived in the building since July '19 and the Coast management staff is the most unprofessional, unresponsive I have encountered in my 4 years living in Portland rentals. I used to work in property management so I understand the job well, and they barely do the basics. They are often demeaning in tone, they rarely reply to emails and when they do they are curt and snarky. The hallway on my floor has had unpainted patch work for three months now. Pretty embarrassing. The hallways and elevators are rarely cleaned, and trash is often strewn in common areas. I have begun picking up trash thrown in the elevator because it is left for days. The cleaning staff cleans the leasing office DAILY as she enjoys her coffee but I have yet to see anyone clean the gym (which now has visible dust bunnies around the base board perimeter). The only positive thing about the property are the handymen Juan and Mike. They do more work in one day than the leasing staff has done in months. The rent is more affordable than other places in NoPo but it comes at a cost.
Great staff, location, and amenities. Safe and clean. Go Prescott!
Property Manager at Prescott, Responded To This Review
Thank you! Our location is close to Mississippi Ave, Prescott MAX station and Overlook Park. Our team works hard to keep our community clean and our amenities in great condition!
I have lived in The Prescott for over 1 year now....the apartments are fantastic...they really went above and beyond with the wood floors...the nice bathroom fixtures and sink...the people in the building are great....a nice dog friendly building....the staff is excellent...we have a manager that is there for the residents 100% and our maintenance staff is always making our home better....It feels more like a home than it does an apartment building...we have an online site where we can share everything from daily events to just saying hello to our neighbors...what a great concept for getting to know people in your building...I feel like I found a home....not just another apartment.
This apartment is located in a very nice area, near public transportation and the Max Light Rail. It is a five minute drive to downtown and a fifteen minute train ride. The complex is well maintained and there is a small FOB-accessible gym in the commons area with weights, and cardio. Management is quick to respond and take care of any maintenance issues. What really hurts the rating is the way the apartments were built, as on the cheap. I am paying $1600 a month for a small one bedroom apartment. There are five stories and several hundred units. The apartment was built with absolutely no insulation or sound-proofing in the common walls. If your neighbor closes a cabinet it sounds like a loud boom. The garbage disposal sounds like a small airplane. What really irritates me is the heavy doors that slam and shake the walls. It's like a hotel and if you have some guest at a hotel that isn't smart enough to grab the door and close it quietly it is really distressing and it goes on all night. Soundproofing would raise this apartment complex to at least a four-star rating. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.
Very kind and helpful on site managers, the apartments are beautiful relaxed, and well maintained. There is an amazing courtyard, with a pickle-ball court and first come first serve BBQ pits. There is also a work out room and a dog washing station! There are no breed or size restrictions on dogs, only a required dog interview. Secured and locked building with balconies which very between units. Optional underground parking spaces, plus the building is pre-wired with century link hookups! Amazing bar (Only beer, 20 different local taps) attached to the building along with a wine bar both of which are very relaxed. Last but not least THE LOCATION IS PERFECT!! Right next to the Moda Center, (Blazers basketball stadium) plenty of other bars, restaurants, two malls, a movie theater, parks, AND downtown!
