Apartment flooded twice and they are not responding for the damages, minimal clean up and our place has mold everywhere. They promise excellent customer service but they don't respond to request for maintenance. Now being the second time of the flood our furnitures are completely damaged. Not recommended to anyone.
I moved in a little less than a year ago, and I had the best possible experience. The whole office team, but Annette in particular, was so helpful in finding the perfect unit for what I was looking for and in my price range. I was moving across the country, so she made sure to send me videos of exactly what the unit looked like that I would be moving into, and followed up at every step to make sure I was good to go. Moving in was a seamless process. The community is very quiet and well kept, they even steam clean the carpets inside the building regularly which was surprising as I've never had an apartment do that before. They've been meticulous in making sure that the buildings and grounds are well taken care of. I've had a few maintenance issues pop up but they've all been taken care of either same day or the next day. I see a handful of reviews from the past few years but didn't see anything current to 2021 so I wanted to throw my experience in. I'm assuming the management has changed since then as everyone here seems to love the management team. I've lived in a LOT of apartments, and I wouldn't write a review unless it really was excellent.

RUN. Today, 6/9/19, we had SEWAGE burst up out of our floor by the washer and dryer units. There are people complaining all over the complexes about the sewage smell and the office hasn't fixed the problem at all. Absolutely disgusting.

There is no gym at this property. There is basically a basement gym with 1 bike, 1 stairmaster, 1 eliptical, 3 treadmills and some dumbells on a concrete floor. They say they are "renovating" - but this has been the case for many months.

Forget about your security deposit!!! They will not give it back to you! You will probably get less than 50 bucks!!! They will find a reason to deduct it from you deposit! They charged me $400 for cooking odor!! Seriosuly , they dont mention it anywhere in lease agreement or moce out procedures New management is horrible!! Stay away if you love your money

i lived there for 2 years and i thought it was wonderful until they started changing management around and i had to move out cause i found a much better place. I totally understand the business but taking advantage of people that were good tenants is not the way to go...I paid $150 non refundable pet fee and $150 refundable deposit for my dog, i received my move out check minus last utility bill aprox 442 but the dog deposit was not part of the items, i called to check on that and they told me that the pet deposit was part of my main deposit....WHAT!!... When i sign my lease the pet was NOT included, I paid separate and now because is convenient they kept it telling me that it was part of the main deposit. Basic math do not fail....$500 $150= $650 - $58= $592...Good luck, trying to get your money back, you'll be told is part of the main $500 deposit. Everything went up and doubled up.... unethical place.
Can't recommend this place high enough. The one rent increase since Lincoln took over was incredibly reasonable. I really enjoy living here. Our last apartment was newer construction but we could hear everything - neighbors peeing, music so clearly that we could hear all the words, etc. It's so blissfully quiet here in comparison. Maintenance is always very quick, and they are professional and friendly. The area is safe and peaceful, lots of office buildings and forest preserves around, but really close to I-88. Friends who visit comment on the beautiful amenities and property. Parking can be tight, and certain areas are definitely worse than others, but it's free and even when I was working 2nd shift and getting home late at night, I could still get a spot a building or two over and it was safe enough to walk.
DO NOT MOVE HERE IF YOU HAVE PETS. We just received a $1000 bill after moving out because they claimed our cat urinated all over the carpet and it had to be removed. This came as quite a shock considering our perfectly littered box trained cat never had any issues at this apartment or my fiancé's last apartment where he got his security deposit back. The only proof they could provide was a doodle of the 'affected area' on our floor plan drawn by some 'expert.' For $1000 my fiancé and I expected more proof than that! However, they could not provide more proof. We are going to end up paying it because the lease is completely in their favor. There is no avenue to dispute anything with management no matter how unfounded or unjust. Save yourself the trouble and rent somewhere with a decent and honest management company.
This apartment complex just changed ownership from Village Green. I appreciate the location of this complex, right off I-88. I do not think the entry ways are well kept up, but the actual apartments are clean, updated, and spacious. Maintenance is always on top of your requests: typically getting to even minor problems in 24 hrs or less. Rent is competitive to the area for what you get.
Apartments are currently under new management. Parking is awful outside the units. In the winter time the snow removal is a joke (slow, sidewalks aren't shoveled before heading out to work).
I have lived here for approximately 7 yrs. it is almost possible to get any improve to and the Grounds gave detiriated considerably
The apartment is large and has lots of space. We have a view of the pond that is beautiful and the pool is awesome.
