Property Ratings at Preserve at Willow Springs
This complex is absolutely beautiful! Arija is an amazing employee with a phenomenal personality who gets it done! I would highly recommend this property to everyone to make their home!
The inside of the apartments is alright, I like the floorplans. Water softeners and tankless water heaters are nice touches with our terrible water in Indy. There is usually trash blowing everywhere, no one picks up after their dogs. Maintenance is slow and halfway fixes things. Construction was "completed" years ago but the landscaping and drainage were never really finished. Never saw plants or anything other than flooding and mulch along the back side of the complex. Delivery drivers will probably have a hard time finding your apartment if you're anywhere other than up front (not their fault I guess, but annoying). The pool is closed a *lot* by the health department. Luxury prices though...
While the apartment complex likes to advertise as high-end, it is cheap and shoddy in both construction, service, and maintenance. The only real nice thing about this place is the poo and gym, but due to COVID, I never the the chance to enjoy them this year as they cut the hours to 9am-6pm M-F.....when normal people are working. They will nickle and dime you for anything they can. Maintenance requests takes weeks to be completed, and they get upset when you follow up with them. My dishwasher overflowed with sewage 4 times, and each time I was told just to "use it more to clear the lines" Even though using it more never fixed the problem. I was told sewage overflow was "normal" and that there was "nothing they could do". It was very frustrating to pay rent for a so-called luxury apartment, to literally have to deal with sewage on a regular basis. I would have moved out sooner, but had to stay a little longer due to COVID. I thankfully have moved out now, but still dealing with management over ridiculous charges added to my account AFTER moving out. I would pass on this place, and live elsewhere where service and amenities are better.
I've lived here for a year and I love it. Here are some pros and cons I've experienced: Pros: The apartments are beautiful and include lots of little touches like a waterfall-style showerhead, iPhone charger plugs in the kitchen, etc. The owner is the nicest man in the world! I met him on move-in day and have felt more comfortable since then knowing such a kind person is running the place. My roommate and I accidentally set off the alarm the first night we moved in and couldn't figure out how to shut it off, and he not only answered his phone at 10:30p.m., but was super friendly as he told us how to shut it off. The office will deliver packages at your front door or even inside your apartment The pool is really nice (although small) They pick up trash and recycling from your doorstep Cons: They don't post rent until the night it's due, which makes it seem like they almost want you to forget and pay late. Maintenance requests take a long time and require a lot of pestering/following up. I feel like that's the case anywhere though.
